The story was good but this is a bit of a slow burn with a few time skips that reset the burn somewhat, so be aware! But its very sweet overall and the extras completely change the entire story as we know it!

An absolute pleasure to read. It was quite nice in it's simplicity way, I love the ML and the MC dynamic even tho the are kinda dumb not gonna lie but that's ok, the extra made me sad for a bit tho.

If you want a somewhat lighthearted story and pass the time literally cause the story is dragged, then go for this. The MC's mindset was somewhat a bit ridiculous (which is one of the reasons why the story was dragged). Some details given here and there but wasn't truly used. Thankful that the story didn't forgot the side characters really. Good end although the extra was splashing a cold water or lukewarm to the ending which defeated its purpose if you want the HE and Lightheartedness.

This was a well written rebirth story. I truly appreciated the MC's kindness and the way he really strived hard to improve himself and his situation. He's not perfect and sometimes I even thought that he's way too kind. But then, I paused for a bit and realized all over again that he's kindness is what save the ML and other characters from becoming truly evil and detestable. I also loved the ML. It’s just a cute story, the characters are adorable, and it’s sort of tr*shy but in a good way. Plus the plot progresses fast enough with only the major plot points being dragged on.

This novel is pretty interesting since it's kind of a mix of different genres: transmigration, school life, the entertainment circle, and a domineering CEO. Romance is a slow burn, too slow for my liking, but the story overall was good. There was a lot of drama and also misunderstandings, yet the plot was good and the pace was fast; it was a nice read. There were really funny but also really sad parts.

What I liked most is that I have read many stories about transmigration, and often the transmigrated person... more>> holds grudges against people because of past life and is too biased. They simply don't give people a chance and judge them based on their actions, which haven't occurred yet and may never happen. In this case, it was more like a psychological shadow. MC could tell the difference between past and present, yet he was traumatized, but despite this, he tried to help and protect ML. MC is kind and a bit naive. His character was complex and well-rounded. ML seems cold, paranoid, and cruel in some way, that is true, but he is also caring and kind. It is just that his inability to express himself leads people to misunderstand him.

I have to write about extras too. It really messed with my mind. It tells the story of MC and ML's past lives, is written from ML's perspective, and has a different ending. It's really sad and tragic. From the main story, I could tell what happened and expected that I would shed tears, but the ending was unexpected and made me doubt what really happened, so be careful; it can spoil the main story. <<less

I shouldn't have read the extras. It hurt like hell. Author was evil as ****.

But because they couldn't you know find his body I believed he travel back. So there was 2 life! Shen is not the type to make that kid of simulation anyway

There was alot of story over dragging on. I thought final villain would be a huge threat but he was solved easily.

Why! I've never before liked and disliked a novel at the same time before but this novel gives me contradictory feelings (wailing) author! How can u do this to us and now I simply wish I hadn't read the extras but also grateful to know the truth about this novel

I don't usually read tags to keep the suspense of plot who knew such a big pit was waiting for me such as dead protagonist and I swear to never read a novel without completely reading tags first

This novel is so good and you definitely need to read the extras so that I will not be the only one who got surprised by that. Idk why people hate this when the MC and ML just had not spoke too much to each other which created misunderstandings. A 5 star rating since it deserves it

I was so happy for the MC and ML that they had a second chance but then the extras happened

... more>> God, this book is literally tradegy. Poor ML*sigh*

So the main story is actually a virtual game. This story is actually created by the ML after MC's death. Yes, MC didn't have any second chance his "past life" was actually the real world. ML loved the MC in his own way he just wasn't good in expressing himself. This virtual story was by created by ML because missed the MC so damn much that I think he might have gone a little crazy

I hate you author for writing the extras. Hate you for breaking my bubble of ML's happiness.

*Sigh* Reality is crueler than people can imagine

I was totally crying while reading it. Throughout the story I was thinking how all the miserable events in the previous life came to be.. and upon reading it... My heart breaks for ML who never experienced love and do not know how to love due to his childhood experience... 😭 I wanna make that baby switcher suffer so bad. So glad they had a reset... But I still feel sad for the previous life ML 😭.. my kokoro... ༼;´༎ຶ ۝ ༎ຶ༽

It's just got so boring. The second half of the story, where the MC & ML age up includes so much filler that I just stopped caring.

So many new characters kept being introduced and it was boring. The reality TV show is the worst part, who are these people and why should I care.

I read the spoilers and it makes sense why the MC and ML are annoying lol. If you're really bored go ahead and read, but otherwise pass. How hard is it to talk to each other really?

The extras hit like a truck.

Yes I know the extras are independent of the main and is open-ended. But I felt that the extras added some depth to the story. It made the novel go from a 3/5 to 3.5/5.

There's plot holes in this novel, but generally this novel is quite a cute and fluffy novel with a little tint of humour. I would have loved to see more of the main text, in a sense where there's some closure to the rebirth, or like the ML and MC talks... more>> about it, etc. But dannnnggg, the extras hit like a truck man. What an unfortunate past life. I still seek to think that the rebirth still exists and the past lives version also exists, my heart goes out to the ML. :')

I refuse to think that the whole main text is what the past life ML made in his VR headset, though this gives the story a whole new perspective and I feel it may have been better story wise, but my pathetic ass prefers HE. But seeing that the author only listed one main character for the whole novel, and the main character being Shen Cheng... *sobs*

This novel.. Honestly I think the extra chapters sat me up on a roller coaster ride without the seatbelts on. It meant more than the ending. I’d have been disappointed if I didn’t find that closure. Im a sucker for such chapters which brings me real close to weeping and with all the lumps in my throat and snot and later bawling.
The novel on a whole was real cute. Enjoyed it pretty much. I’d have loved it even more if it was even more spicy and bit more oily I think. The sweetness was just perfect though.

The high school arc is really good, but after that, the quality just went downhill. A lot of plot holes, abrupt time skip, an unfinished ending, it's quite a mess. It seems like the novel lost direction and doesn't know where to focus. The romance is very unsatisfactory, because clearly the MC still has PTSD from past life and ML need a serious lesson about relationships. Like, who even ignore someone they love for 4 years? ML literally communicate with everyone but the MC for 4 years. I perfectly... more>> understand why MC is always insecure and hesitate to jump into a relationship with ML. Because ML never give MC reassurance, he never even chase MC. The power dynamic in the relationship is heavily tilted towards ML. Meanwhile, MC never get to experience other people but the ML, but MC has more chemistry with that Duan guy than the ML. ML is like that first love the MC can't get rid off because the ML never even give him a proper closure. From the beginning, I thought sooner or later the MC will forget about ML because the tone of the novel is super melancholic. But, nothing is ever solved. Not even MC's tragic past. Not even the romance. It ended when the ML promised to write MC a letter everyday and the MC feel flattered. ML is filthy rich and yet he can only write you a letter?

Anyway, the MC is too kind and the ML is a person who can hardly express his feelings. That's why both of them have misunderstanding. The ending end rushed but you'll understand it in the extra. Im actually shocked for the twist. I felt sorry for the ML, he missed the MC. <<less
