This was a humorous read with just enough fluff and dog food. There were several episodes that had me grin to myself which is not always the case with novels with comedic undertones. Sure, some parts were a bit cringed. But rather than being put off, I felt more amus**ent as those cringey part were also entertaining.

Another positive point were the characters. Not just the main CP but all side characters that weren't antagonists were likeable. Due to the cute protagonist tag I expected a cute, clumsy damsel in distress... more>> type shou. But I was pleasantly surprised by the MC. While he is cute, likes to act spoiled and coquettish he is no pushover either. In fact, I would consider him a strong character, not necessarily physically but mentally. Besides that he actually has a pretty crazy side to him which is hilarious.

The ML is also a character of his own. Dude is the usual cold to others with a sharp tongue and doting and soft towards his "wife". He does tend to dig pits for himself with his loose/sharp tongue of his, though. Again, funny as heck. His kinks are also a bit unusual and add to the comedy.

So to sum up, I liked this novel. It is just the right length and has enough of everything, humor, romance, action and drama. It was entertaining and uplifting at the same time. <<less

I was dazzled and dizzy reading this story. Its very sweet and theres moments in the novel that had me cracking up hard. The sense of humor is a little absurd and not very digestible, but once something hits the mark it really hits.

Theres also alot of dogbloodedness in the novel? I wasnt expecting it but ouch the pain. Trigger warning for h*mophobia and school violence/bullying. Its quite harsh in this one and the trauma is alot.

Theres also quite a few peach blossoms that can be annoying at the beginning,... more>> but then misunderstanding between the CP becomes the main theme when they hurt each other (unclear identities). Some of the resolutions isnt resolved soundly enough, and the faceslaps are quite soft so it was kinda meh there

Either way, its a funny good novel with lots of fluff. I think the way the author personalized the MC is abit ridiculous. If u dont like white lotus timid shaking shou, you might be annoyed/not like this novel at all. <<less

The premise is quite ordinary (imo) but the whole time I felt like I was soaking in a honey pot or cotton candy~ and I quite like that <3. Their interactions as well as the other side characters are funny and entertaining hahaha (omg the split shenanigans cracks me up everytime xD)

I was actually quite curious if QYY (the female suitor of ML) got the wrong person.. I mean how could she compare ML and Voldemort omg xD Is she serious or does she really have the wrong impression of ML and her analogical sense is somewhat strange? Lol

Cute, funny, embrassing hahaha, it's just a short read, can be finished in 2 days. It's lighthearted? But MC suffered hmm, anw ML is there which is deserved cause IDC if so many people like the MC (someone commented it) cause

The rate should be about 3.8. Its a lot of fun and fast paced. The main characters surprisingly have depth to them, even the ML. Some gaming bl tropes need to stay but nothing was too cliche.

Its a novel more on marriage for convenience and mistaken identity. But the interactions are sickeningly sweet and so fast. But I read it all in one sitting and was feeling a bit something was missing for me thats why it didnt have a perfect score.

This novel and couple is freaking adorable!! I wanted to give it a 5/5 but after comparing it with the novels that I rated 5/5, giving this novel a 5/5 seems like a disservice to those I rated 5/5.

I'm not saying that this novel is bad, it just can't be compared to the others that I rated 5/5. But regardless, this is a super adorable read and I totally enjoyed it. It is not as cliche as it seems.

Usually I... more>> give fluffy novels a 3/5 or so because usually its an okay read, and usually I won't remember the plot and characters after awhile. But despite this being a fluffy novel with not much or no major plot or character development, it is an enjoyable read throughout. And I believe I will remember the plot and won't mind re-reading it!!

Not sure about the translations, I only read Chapter 1 and the extras from the English translator. It looks MTL-ed despite being edited and there are various wrong translations. You can still understand the story but some part might mislead you due to the weird or wrong translation. For those who can read Chinese, read the original text, for those who don't read Chinese, what else can you do? 👀 <<less

When I first so this I just tried reading it for fun. But, boi~! I got so hooked with the story I ended reading all the way until I can't even wait for the updates to come. Its, fluffy and light. Definitely recommended!!

this was on my reading list for a while and finally decided to read it seeing the tl was already finished... I must say it was quite enjoyable... there’s no deep plot, and the drama was not as heavy as some people have mentioned... I think the antagonists had a screw loose and were a mix between a sociopath and psychopaths, but they weren’t really that memorable in any way... the fluff was not your warm and cozy kind, but was restrained and humorous... MC was very admirable because of... more>> his strong fortitude... ML was devoted but I think the way his character was written did not have enough pull for me... but overall the story was quite enjoyable to read <<less

A sweet novel, and a bit of comedy there and there. Not much conflict, a smooth read!! Althought there was a small, small dog blood at first because of Mc's past

MC falls easily in love with handsome people.

Because of unfortunate RL crushes that didn't end so well he chose to throw away his (basically non existent) integrity and enter the new Tie the Knot love game.

In the Tie the Knot area, he had to marry whoever lifted his red veil! He originally wanted to fall in love. Of course he would try his best to like the other party.

MC and ML meeting was pure accident. ML's friend's sister took her brother's game avatar and went to the tie the knot area for male wifes, once in the game there is no leaving until a husband picks you. The friend called ML for help to be his husband in game, but just as ML entered the area and lifted the red veil of the described character with SM prop in a corner, he found out his friend was already taken away by someone else and he now chose an afk stranger to be his wife.

ML fell for MC because he did a split. He felt MC was cute and quirky. It was his first time falling in love and he was immediately serious about their relationship. Of course he knew it was just online, but he planned to boil MC in warm water and definitely make it real in RL.


Omg, they are so lovely dovey ~

MC's main account, a farmer x ML's trumpet (=side account)

Unknown to each other:

Famous Rebel army leader main account x unruly and flirtatious concubine (<- just a title) trumpet

Some drama with a prince courting MC's trumpet. ML nearly finds out about MC's trumpet.

MC meets his ex crush who turns out to be total tr*sh/scum. We find out about MC's past/his bully.

ML and MC unknowingly meet in RL.

They have an argument (in game), because ML finds out (because of a love event in the game) MC falls in love easily and already had many past crushes while MC is his first love. ML thought MC is shameless and has no moral integrity. MC tried to explain and apologise but ML was to worked up and they parted in a bad way.
