Long and progressive romantic development between 2 rotten water while they try to save the world using their knowledge of the futur of the world hey live in.

The interaction between characters is funny, but most of them are a little soft so even in a world where war is almost normal they all seem like 14-16 years old. So don't think too deeply and enjoy the ride since the story is really well built with an end goal visible all along.

Ignoring the low review that is clearly bias, the story is top notch. Scoring at least 4.5 and up.

ML and FL love is clear to see, and the romance build up gradually step by step for us to see. ML clearly love FL earlier than her, so his action and thought is always on her while FL melt slowly under his affection.

The action is great, the battle is unconventional and always have the unpredictable action from every side. The 2 always win their fight even tho they really feel like... more>> the super underdog in almost every arc.

Every side character have their own personality and development. The rush ending take away alot of that and almost take a star away for me, but the overall story is still great despite all that.

5/5 definitely recommended! <<less

Sometime through reading through this, it suddenly cl**ked to me that "Wait, the game they're in is just Diablo 2, isn't it?". At some point they talk about events of the first game. Smaller scale, limited to a single town, where the queen summoned a demon by sacrificing the prince. One of the five playable characters is an illegitimate brother of that prince. That's basically Diablo, Tristram, Aidan, Albrecht. And that the five characters from the first game are dead or demonized at the early part of the second game.... more>> Blood Raven, Summoner, Dark Wanderer. Oh, and the third game is about a war between angels and demons. <<less

As a seasoned isekai novel reader ill keep this review short and easy to digest. Ignoring the political bias people seem to want to add in their reviews as well. The novel is an enjoyable read. The pacing is a bit irregular, sometimes its good but every now and then it moves too fast (mostly later events) or too slow (romance gets dragged out a bit too much) overall the story is solid but nothing extremly special. If this was an out of 10 rating it would be a 6.... more>> Better than average but it could have been more. <<less

The main characters were crafted beautifully. Character progression is amazing. Not to mention, the main characters' romantic relationship improving, was very wholesome and sweet.

At first I was a bit disappointed as I have high expectation for the MCs as there wasn't many novels with two MC with chemistry especially isekai but I got a rather cliche and stereotypical character instead

BUT it gets better, and better, and better until it does meet my expectation, so yea if you like the genre and tags then you will probably like this novel, just give it some time. Where I'm now their interaction is so much more fluids and natural compared to where it was, idk if... more>> the author didn't put as much time or they just get better at writing but it develop and fit nicely now, it reminds me of close highschool friends or siblings. It just that I'm not a huge fan of the forced romance between the two, especially early on. They should have let it develop from no feeling or maybe even slight hostility then into acceptance and then a hint of feeling and then blossom. But oh well, what's important is that I like where it is now and I hope it get even better later <<less

I'm not sure why is this so highly rated here. Unlike, for example, tr*sh of the Count's Family or Second Coming of Gluttony, the story is extremely shallow, extremely fast-paced, and severely lacks descriptions or proper world-building. The translation is MTL, barely edited to be readable and it still would be fine, if not for the fact that the translator doesn't translate the names of techniques, special constitutions, etc. He just tells you once how the body condition of the MC is named, and then uses untranslated gibberish that you'll... more>> just skip. This distracts from the reading, a lot. The way the game in their past lives worked doesn't really make sense - it was supposed to be an Online Game, but they could choose NPC with a backstory as their starting character, how the hell did it work? It seems that the game was kind of like Dark Souls where the game itself is single-player, but others can join you in certain situations, but there are details that contradict this theory. <<less

Alright the story is really good and worth the read 4* for sure. The whole block of text below is just me ranting about what I don't like about the story right now and if it were to go on I'd have to give this a 1-2.5*. All of it is my personal opinion. If you think it might put you off to not read it then just don't read below cause it's a good story so far.

So far here are the reason why I might drop this novel later... more>> on and lower the rating:

1) There's a lot of "scamming" where it shouldn't be added in. Most people have morals as to how much they scam but I guess the ML and FL don't which is kinda gross.

When they meet the wild fairy queen they f*cking wring her dry. They get tasked to kill a monster so they ask for her blessing, fair enough. Then they ask for items to kill the monster. Uuuh, alright I guess sure. They then empty out the armory of all the items. Uh wtf do you not have any self conscience to what you just did? You literally emptied the whole sh*t out and the queen can tell. They then finish the task but then ask for more rewards. Although it was just a map I think it's still disgusting they asked for more. Should've asked for the map before

2) There's an annoying power imbalance going on. The ML is practically useless compared to the FL in the chapter I'm at. They were balanced in the beginning, but now the FL one shots sh*t as the ML kites them around doing almost nothing. It'll probably change though into where the ML is more OP than the FL which is also kinda annoying... Can't they just both be balanced and need to rely on each other.

3) There's no sense of danger. Really there is like almost none... They mask any sense of danger with playful banter for some reason.

Where I'm currently at in the story they are closing a Hells Gate, they had to activate these seals in order to set off this large scale magic in the city to destroy the gate. They spend time doing that but instead of using the magic they instead blow up the whole place using the same method for like the 4th time now in the span of 30~ chapters. There was a very very small window of danger but that was thrown away just as fast as it came

4) Now this reason is just my own personal opinion but the romance is annoying to me. The ML likes the FL and she keeps dropping hints about liking him as well but then goes on to do stuff that kinda pisses me off like being intimate with other people too easily. Also the romance is pretty slow. I picked this novel up for the romance but guess that's not the main thing. And looking at other reviews it seems like it's even worse 70+ chapters later. As someone else stated, they begin to 'eye f*ck' each other, that is just kinda awkward. If you read the novel you'll know, they have like conversations with their eyes. Guess they begin to have s*x with their eyes and imagination or some sh*t in for of others.

5) Now this is my final reason but so far it seems like a minor reason but may become bigger. There seems to be filler in chapters already. I tend to find myself kinda scrolling past and reading faster because it's just some inane sh*t that shouldn't be there.

Where I'm currently at after the they blew up the city or whatever to get rid of the gate they or then sent into the air to escape the aftermath. The chapter then proceeds to take 3/4 of it to explain their process of escaping. Jumping into the air and using some martial arts to jump form debris to debris to get to safety. Look it just explained practically the whole chapter in a sentence lmao. If filler is already coming in this early I worry about later chapters.

great novel, would definitely recommend to any reader, in this novel there are two reincarnated people, who hate each other at first, but are engaged, they have to do multiple things so that they can fight against the devil worshippers, and prevent the end of the world, which means they have to put up with each other, the novel progresses well, with the ML thieving from the FL by dominating the quests and getting the best rewards, and always outshines the FL in the early novel, but the FL gradually... more>> catches up and starts cucking the ML in the same way, it is a really nice novel and I would definitely recommend

the FL starts off as a really unlikable character develops well, she becomes a likeable character for most people at around 50 or a bit later, but she still sometimes has moments where her previous personality dominates the other and basically regresses, but they are sporadic and become further and further apart as the personalities mix, in the second latest arc, the wildlands, it is about the ML realising his feelings for the fl, which he has claimed to be fake to allow them to random stuff and get away with it, and the latest arc, the capital arc, is the same stuff but the FL realises her feelings
