So anyway the beginning to mid parts are really good. After the FL goes to university in the later parts and also romance becomes more prominent that is when it gets boring. I skipped a lot of chapters in the later parts. 

But i have read this novel again around 3 times without skipping a chapter (beginning and mid parts)

And believe me when I tell you I have read a looooott of chinese novels. 

The fact that I remember this novel and read it 3 times must mean that some part of this novel is worth reading.

So go ahead waste your time. It will be worthwhile.
