In the humid heat of July, students within the crowded classroom couldn’t breathe properly under the tremendous pressure of the intensive exams.

Guo Jingyu’s forehead was damp with sweat.

He saw the figure seated in front of him as soon as he glanced up. His back was as straight as it had always been, his white shirt school uniform had a mild soap scent, and his hair was neatly parted. He was accompanied by the steady rustle of a pen.

Guo Jingyu laughed, as if he’d been freed of a huge burden, and gently nudged the person in front of him twice with a pen, saying in a hushed whisper, “Li Tongzhou?” The teen in front of him halted and didn’t say anything, but he extended his hand behind him and handed him something.

It was interesting at the start but I really struggled to continue finishing it so I just skimmed from the middle to end.

The story is well written but the plot in the middle was really really boring and there was just not much happening.

Also I'd expect the MC to at least be more mature or at least act more like an adult cause he went back to the past as an adult, but honestly he's just acting like any teenager.

The cp is really sweet, but that's about it. It's only... more>> okay for me <<less

I usually don't comment on other reviews. However. Please don't listen to the reviewer that only read one chapter. Not everyone can notice the difference between MC thinking "wow, it's like I'm back in the past... it must be a very vivid dream" and it actually being a dream.

I won't spoil anything, just remember that it's a HE.

This was very good, but I found myself feeling quite sad while reading it, after a certain point in the story.

It's very sweet, and very nice, but there is an undercurrent of melancholy that I can't shake after reading. I feel bad for people who experience such things.

MC and ML are a beautiful couple. They do everything for each other, they protect each other, they want the best for the other. The MC is smart, funny and doting. ML is super smart, taciturn but gentle with MC.

I only read the beginning of it. I want to say something that isn't a spoiler because it was mentioned in the first chapter. THIS IS NOT A REBORN STORY. It's a dream about the MC going back to the past. This story is so good. I cried my eyes out every time I remember he doesn't really go back. This story makes you feel "yes this is life". No matter how much you regret missing something you can't go back and change anything. In life when something happens you... more>> can do nothing to change it. We can't expect anything. Everything in life comes to us as a surprise. Years just go by at a speed that makes you astonished. This novel is bittersweet. I will finish it another day. I'm really tired of crying. <<less

.... this is such a cute book, you're really being robbed by it not having a translator. Seriously. My favorite combination is romance with mystery because it just gives you more reason to care and read (w/o using drama). It gives you plot, momentum, motivation, and intrigue. It's a subtle and simple but highly effective mystery that makes this rebirth novel just better.

The novel has such a list of cute characters like the MC's family and friends and not to mention the soft cuties who are our leads.... That the... more>> answer to the mystery will literally sucker punch you. Such a good use of tension. Wow. I had a feeling, but because society has moved so far in the western world that I didn't exactly expect it honestly. But then I realize this was 2005 and.... there could be something similar even in America Maybe? There is a trigger warning..

It was such a fun read. The MC was so endearing and likeable while the ML's dedication and love was a delight to read. I also liked the main characters interactions with the people around them (excluding the ML's parents). Even their dog's antics were enjoyable to read.

This is an amazing story that captivates the essence of what being different means, especially regarding sexuality.

I found myself smiling at the beginning and then I caught myself reading so seriously (besides crying).

It is a reborn story and its an amazing one and beautiful.

I dont know why the translators gave up, but its worth it.

in original the ML was dead and MC was still single and can't be move on even after 10 years. And one day he go back to the school days. His only job at that time was accompaning the ml. He found the cause of death of ML and he save him and elope ith him.

ML father is scum. After come to know he like man and not listening to what he asked he sent ML to a sanitarium where people tortured to change. In previous life he suffered there and died there. In this life MC rescued him

It wasn't my intention to make a review, I just click accidentally on a star... And post it (-_-;)

[I's hard to me explain, but I swear that It was something like this]

Anyway, now that it can't be deleted, I'll just write my opinion. The story is pretty cute, at least as far as I've read. The plot seems to be good, there is a soft mystery that intrigues me and makes me want to keep reading, of course the characters are also equally interesting.

The MC seems to be the... more>> cute, but ruthless type and the ML is just a angel, unfortunately, I haven't read much yet and I don't have so many things to say about the secondary characters, although I have some expectations.

Okay read, could've been a lot better with a little bit more depth. MC, Guo Jingyu, goes back to a time when he and ML, Li Tongzhou, were classmates and just friends. He is grateful for the opportunity and wants to prevent ML's death (this isn't really a spoiler since it's mentioned in the first chapters).

There are several events that are too skimmed over so the plot flow feels off. In the end, there is a happy ending.

In the last life, MC never found out how ML died. Turns out that ML's parents sent him to a sanitarium when his s*xual orientation was discovered. They wanted to "cure" him. The sanitarium "cured" patients by torturing them.


In this life, ML did enter the sanitarium but MC rescued him on the same day. He also helped to expose the sanitarium and got them to close down. MC and ML later moved in together during their college years.
