i have mixed feelings about this one. there’s about 5 worlds and the relationship between the MC and ML is (mostly) established from the start. it’s a bit heart wrenching and tbh the real world arc was kinda anticlimactic and felt rushed. mc and ml are sweet on each other and have a very unconditional love.

the worlds were okay but spends a lot of time fleshing out things that didn’t really matter.. the last world was an interesting subversion (and mild parody) of certain tropes, but it was a bit frustrating to get through because the meat of the arc only happens at the end (the ending of the arc made me upset also lmao) i think it would’ve been better if mc’s deteriorating mental health actually improved rather than zig-zagged and then left mostly unaddressed after mc returns to the real world. if there was a bit about him getting treatment or healing it would’ve been loads better imo <<less
