about the story: this has one of the best pacings in a story i have ever read. i would have never expected for this novel to be more than just a romcom but to also have so much substance.  this is definitely the lighter one of the novels on this list but it would give you a nice surprise on just how thoughtful reading this feels like. oddly enough i feel like i would enjoy this novel more in life where i am older and have a job. but it's undoubtedly a romcom so expect a lot of fluffy moments that you'd really enjoy.... more>>

about the characters: ling xi's outlook on life is actually really beautiful, it actually made me ponder about my own life and future (the last thing i ever expected from a novel like this) he's one of my favourite mcs in danmei. you fall in love with him like the ml. <<less

about the story: It has all i want in regression-type novels, where they slowly get their life back for the better but aren't immediately powerful and omnipotent. mc doesn't know everything from the future but still treads forward with what he knows and actually does something about it. it's quite hard to find something like that in this genre and this pulls it off well.... more>>

 about the characters: i love the dynamic between mc and ml, a beta and alpha pairing is rare. also a nice use of the a/b/o world, they add things to it. mc and ml have separate lives and have their own character improvement and their interpersonal relationships with the side characters are well-developed <<less

This had me bawling the whole time I was reading, it felt good. It's so beautiful. Theres surprisingly so much depth and complexity to the  characters and their actions for such a short story. h*mophobia has never be portrayed so well.
