Qi Baicha was the last god in the world. He lived until the modern age, where he found an ordinary person to fall in love with and marry because life was too boring.

Then he really fell in love with him. Every day, he worried about what he would do when his partner got old and died. It turned out that his partner was also a god, and he worried about the same thing every day.

After Qi Baicha mentally prepared himself, he decided to tell his lover the fact that he was a god: “My dear, I want to tell you something.”

Fu Mingye said nervously, “My dear, I also have something to tell you. Actually, I am not a mortal, I am an evil god. Don’t be scared when you hear the word ‘evil’. Those self-proclaimed righteous gods are a group of sanctimonious things… Right, what did you want to say?”

Qi Baicha: “Actually, I am not a mortal either.”

Fu Mingye: “… What are you?”

Qi Baicha: “A sanctimonious thing.”

The evil god, who listened to every person’s hatred, curses, greed, and arrogance, fell in love with the world’s most gentle and clean snow.

“I will love you against my divinity.”

Cold and gentle snow god shou x domineering when outside, controlled by his wife when inside gong

Hahaha, I almost dropped this at the beginning. Thankfully, I didn't. It's a nice love story about two fated lovers who'll always be together no matter the setting. No toxicity, just love and fluffs. The characters are interesting. The arcs were also interesting. Although, I do skip some long-ass explanations on worlds and gods.

The author's brain is really...😅 Creating many worlds and joining different world themes together. Really extensive. Although, I'm still not clear about the backtracking part. The translation is excellent too; even without the pinyins, it didn't sound... more>> stiff and too Westernised. <<less

I am full of compliments for this novel. Very refreshing. It's quite funny and sweet. I love how they sneak around each other just to hide their identities. To each their own. But this is just my cup of tea. Try reading it, and you'll find our if it's also yours

  1. Well-planned, smooth plot timeline.
  2. Both MC and ML are already together from the start of the story, so it'll be only a ton of dog food for you to eat until the end of the novel.
  3. No angsty misunderstanding, third party, etc.
  4. The so-called rebirth, transmigration, cultivator, system, etc. Are just a piece of cake for the gods to solve
  5. A devoted-to-each-other pairs of lover
  6. Both MC and ML are not the shy-shy type when it comes to papapa
  7. Their misunderstanding about each other's identity at the beginning is fun to read
  8. MC and ML is not OP. But their future self are OP.

This is a pretty humorous novel about one snow god who thought he married a human and one evil god who though he married a human, each trying their best to prolong the life of their poor wittle human partner.

Good little snow god naturally protects his world from random riff raff including transmigrators, rebirthers, rogue systems, the apocalypse, and the invasion of other worlds. Meanwhile, evil god uhh... he does whatever he wants. Including maybe accidentally kind of mugging his spouse. Just a little accident. It's okay, he gets what... more>> he deserves. <<less

What to say?? It's terribly awesome!!!! Very much awesome!!!

The twist, the romance, the bonding, the side couple and all the other stuffs---it's perfectly made!!!! Specially the plot twist__it's freaking cool!!!!

ML and MC are a heaven made couple who were together since chaos age as qi!!!! They were the very first gods in the world.... they also got together but ML had to go to a competition regarding being the main god at the threat of mc's safety... but at the final match ML ran away because he sensed that MC was in danger which in fact the gods of that world getting obligated because the son of the fate of that world had died.... MC froze time at the price of his own godhead. It was said in the story that once a god falls even the soul would also be gone! ML came back and found that MC was getting melted in the snow. He was desperate and then saw mc's soul still persisting to remain because he had an obsession of wanting to see ML for the last time. Then ML split his godhead and saved MC. Both fell back in the cycle of birth and finally meet each other again as snow god and evil god in the modern era!!!!!

it also has side couple who has their own story. I haven't read it though. But the ML of that story helped ML of this story. Since I'm giving you spoilers then let me tell you he is the main lord god you will find throughout the novel.

Their relationship is sweet, but the story is somewhat too dull for my taste.

I loved the beginning, it was hilarious and so sweet seeing the shenanigans the two get up to but slowly the plot derails, it’s all over the place. It was unique in the beginning and author added way way way too many things out of nowhere and some of the newer details kinda contradict the beginning. I do agree that MC’s and ML’s relationship was cute but there’s no sustenance and it doesn’t help that the plot is just crazy, and after a while it’s just tiring.

I'm sorely tempted to give this 1 star, mainly because the higher the expectations, the greater the disappointment. And boy, was I disappointed.

I've been waiting for this to be translated in full because of the interesting premise + the multitude of 5* reviews, only for it to end up dull and boring.

At first, things were great. There was a sense of mystery, angst, good romance, etc. Even the fantasy elements were carefully controlled.

But I don't know what happened to the author. They suddenly started suffering from the "telling instead of... more>> showing" disease, and very severely so. And as if that wasn't enough, the arcs became more and more convoluted without any real significant impact to the story. Imagine reading through several chapters composed of paragraphs of passive narration, just for a small detail that could've been revealed through other means. And then later on, the author didn't even bother with the storytelling anymore. They straight up just narrated everything. Gone were the parts where we, the readers, were expected to use our brains & imaginations actively. A character or a new event would be introduced but before you could fully appreciate them, they've been buried underneath the chunks of text.

I think the author got tired too and just wanted to get it over with.

But what's even worse was the time loop. It was simply not thought out well enough because even if it's judged based on the logic of the storyworld, it simply will just not hold up. It was so half-assed that I don't even want to bother breaking it down now that I'm writing this review (even though originally that was my plan). I'm just so disappointed but it's a free read anyway, so there's that. <<less

Regarding Yoya’s review, I have something to say. It’s true that a lot of different elements (details as they worded it) were added into this novel, including but not limited to:... more>>

QT, Transmigration, systems, rebirth, novel in novel, zombies, apocalypses, time travelling, chosen one (I don’t know the translation for this), multiple worlds, multiple Gods and abilities. (The QT, transmigration, rebirth, chosen one thing and systems don’t happen on the MC and ML, they just happen in the novel as side? Events)

Most of these things aren’t things you’d put together, especially into a single novel (that isn’t a QT, and this novel isn’t one). It would have easily turned horrible or an absolute tr*sh of a novel if the amount of this stuff wasn’t the right amount or it wasn’t written nicely. In my opinion, I think the author connected those elements quite smoothly. There might be some confusion at the start, but it comes together nicely (plus there’s quite a lot of subtle and not-so-subtle foreshadowing). Of course, it’s a matter of personal preference. I don’t mind a novel with a lot of stuff happening both in the background and to the MC, but some readers for example Yoya might not like it and find it confusing or bad. It’s not a bad novel, like I said, it’s just a matter of personal preference. The romance is nice, the characters actually have times they aren’t OP, and the plot is quite interesting for me to read. It’s a good novel, and i’d wholeheartedly recommend it to people (who don’t particularly dislike confusing plots or novels with a lot of things going on at the same time). 4.5/5 <<less

The plot was unexpected in a good way just based on that summary. I wasn't sure what to expect. Like was it just a slice of life? A mystery of their past lifes? How could it span 100 chapters? The summary scene does actually happen (it was quite funny) but the plot itself was a pleasant surprise. It deviated from the common world building of ancient gods that I was expecting.

Plot: ... more>>

the author really just went all out, author just threw in the multiple world plot line and systems straight away. It's not new of course but dang I wasn't expecting it. So in this world, the world god (AKA the main characters) are aware of the concept of multiple worlds and even the existence of a "main god" that is higher level and overseas these multiple worlds. There are also "systems" and "rogue systems". Proper systems are sent to help save worlds on the verge of collapse but rogue systems are unwanted and can harm a world. So MC (the snow god), actually has god work to do getting rid of these rogue systems possessing people. Like there's actually this kind of plot line that I wasn't expecting? I was expecting maybe ancient xianxia type of story haha. It's a pleasant surprise though. ML on the other hand is very lazy and didn't care about it much (at first). I like the messaging system they even have to chat with other gods in other worlds.

Romance, gosh it's really cute. From their first hilarious meeting to the current relationship, despite the hidden identity, they have a very caring relationship that put each other's needs first. Of course there's deeper history between the two. And the reveal doesn't drag too much.

Side characters aren't terribly strong in terms of character building here because this is really mainly about the 2 main characters but there's a few cute ones. I especially like

the system and host side pair that was really cute. Glad to see their happy ending.

Overall, it's an interesting read. <<less

This is a misleading novel. Initially, it starts off as a comedy. Two gods using human disguises have married, and think the other is human. Both try to figure out a way to extend their beloved's life. The MC and ML are sickeniingly sweet, and throw dog food like no one's business.

However, the plot gets surprisingly detailed after a certain point. It goes from a comedy to drama with an apocalypse, world hopping, systems, time travel, and elaborate backstories about the beginnings of the universe (yes, really).

I don't want to... more>> spoil too much about this novel, but despite the utter chaos I'ver seemingly describes, the author manages to deliver a well-crafted plot in a way that pulls you in. I highly recommend this novel! <<less

So... Haven't started really yet but I cried at chapter 5 and stopped right there. I'm going to wait until the chapter where they know each others identity and then read it again. You can just search spoiler for that one or I'll hide it down below... Definitely worth giving this a try.

Spoiler of chapter when they know each other identity

chap 50+ ish... Idk... Just waiting till chap 60 to be out

This reads like a myth of gods and their love seen through the eyes of everyday life. It’s awesome. Good writing that made me bear the mtl, epic love story, not perfect but one of t he best I’ve read lately. Suited my tastes. And the ML is simply umm. Who doesn’t want a villain to love them in the true sense of the word? The other ML is not a doormat either. Their interactions are hilarious at times and mr Evil God is a simp and a wife s*ave,... more>> them two are cuties. <<less

I really like the unexpected twists and it is not cliche at all. Basically it is a dog food novel and the whole novel is about both of their love story.

I felt that it is slow at the beginning, but as towards the middle, even after they discovered each of their real identities, my motivation for reading this novel did not come down.
In fact, when it is near the end of the novel, I really want to read more of their story and hope the story goes on.

This is one of the story where ML towards others he is aloof, fierce etc, but when it comes to MC he become another person.

This is really opposite attracts.

I like the relationship between the two! I like how it plays on the fact that the two MCs both think they are married to a human.

That being said, it does get a little bit slow at times, to the point that it feels like it drags on a little; but not too much.

The thing that I could see as cliche is the use of the transmitigation systems and how it could be handled.

Every problem/situation feels like a one and done, which nothing really to tie it all together so... more>> far. I'm going to spare it the benefit of the doubt because I know it's not completely translated.

The stakes are not that high, so if it continues this way it would definitely feel a little boring.

But I appreciate how the author didn't drag on the misunderstanding between the two MCs. Cause that could get old pretty fast.

All in all I enjoyed it; it is a fun read. <<less

Note: also has an untranslated sequel. That stories’ title and premise spoil a few details of this novel, thus I’m going to share it in a spoiler tag.

now onto my review.

I found this novel interesting in a lot of ways.

  • The premise is a quick transmigrator genre universe, but the main characters are not transmigrators at all. In fact, the main couple are gods born naturally from world 999 that must protect against invading outsiders that aim for the destruction of their world.
  • The two gods have opposing natures. Does it become a love-hate relationship when the lazy evil god and the righteous snow god discover they are supposed to be natural enemies? Well... read to find out. I will assure you that the drama will not stretch on endlessly. This is primarily a fluff novel.
  • The virg*n gong is not automatically a god in the bedroom... despite being a god.
  • The author seems to have a preference for writing power bottoms which is rather rare.
  • Overarching mystery that rounds out the world well and wraps up just in time for the end
It has side stories I haven’t read yet. I’m going to wait for the translator to catch up and read it again. ^_^

Strong start, eh ending. It got overly convoluted and I think the author got overwhelmed too.

wasn't pleased with the autism arc... Couldn't tell though if the "grow out of autism" was a poor choice of words from author/translator or a genuine ignorant belief.

Also dropped a star because the 17 teenager thing.... I know it's not my culture. But with how even the characters were joking about committing a crime against a minor it made me uncomfortable. There was 0 reason for it.

This starts with a rom-com theme of secret identities, with Qi Baicha as the Snow God and Qi Ye as the Evil God. Very witty and fast paced comedy in the first ten or twenty chapters. There's also small episodic cases where we see their powers and the sort of obstacles they face.

Then, half way through, the author just went and put every single trope they could and mashed it in... which is certainly a choice. I mean, it was fun! And there were some hilarious scenes, but it felt... more>> like a genre shift.

Kind of felt needlessly complex and long winded towards the end especially. I will give it points for not having excessive relationship drama however, and the cuteness of the couple.

The translator has done a marvelous job though! So kudos to them!

this was honest to god a waste of time. Shouldve dropped it farrrrr earlier.

MC and ML are married. They are also gods in disguise. They dont know that the other person is a god, and think that they married a mortal. Cue misunderstandings and dumb shenanigans.

the worldbuilding is absolute nonsense. Overly ambitious with little substance. Folks who like qt might enjoy this but that's not my cup of tea. Author loves long exposition dumps, retelling the same thing over and over again, and overexplaining things that dont need explaining. This... more>> gets annoying real fast and feels like the author treats her readers as dumb.

i wont review the actual storyline because it seems like ive barely scratched the surface of this garbage, but the reasons above are enough for me to stop reading.

tl is edited mtl, but its half decent. <<less
