• Not gonna lie, but the synopsis of the novel won me over. And it didn't disappoint; it was fun. The way the relationship between the main characters develops is definitely a slow burn. I had to patiently wait for 200 chapters before they finally shared a kiss. Despite that, there were several unnecessary storylines in the book that could have been condensed into a single chapter or less. However, the author chose to drag them out, spanning across 4 to 7 chapters each. It became frustrating because all I wanted was to witness their kiss and see them build a future together, perhaps even starting a family. • Up until their friend from the village got kidnapped, everything was good. I don't know how to feel about the degenerate (aka the villain) in this book, so I think I'll wait until the translation is completed. My anxiety can't handle this villain with a calm heart.
