The overall crafting of the world and environment is what did it for me. It was fresh and unique, but not too crazy. Pacing was good too.
I also really enjoyed the interal commentary of MC and just the general concept of the story. I can agree that it’s overrated tho. It’s a great read on its own, it only becomes the best when compared to everything else on the site.
Not sure if you read it all yet, but if you haven’t maybe give it another chance. The first arc/plotline was the most confusing for me but once I learned the setting of the story I really enjoyed it.
