This novel is a hope for a girl who lands in a toxic relationship and expects it to be happy ever after. Well, dreams...! The ML had no good attribute, except well he was handsome, and because he was handsome and rich, he can be excused what he did according to author.

It would have been a good novel, if the FL chooses her own path independently of ml. They might have understood each other, became friends and that's that.

This author doesn't understand the depth of trauma. A trauma causes pain... more>> independently of the person (whether he/she says sorry or not). Well, if one says sorry it can help the person move forward with little relief but acceptance. It is a real thing. It's not a plaything for your bad hero's so called romance novel. A trauma given by a person takes years and years to get heal. It's not..."omg, my hero apologised, he is groveling, which my heart wanted to see, I therefore forgive...", it's complicated, it's hurting. Even if the ML who caused all of this was the ml, the author should have given time to FL to heal and stuff.

In real life, you take divorce, take alimony and leave. That's happy ever after. <<less

Honestly I dont think that I'll continue the novel. ITS TO PAINFUL.

The FL is just getting abuse from her father and mother-in-law and everytime she doing something she will be misunderstood. Also I think she doesnt act like one of her age (if I rememder correctly she was 19 or something)

And Bjorn is just a horrible person. He didint leave alone the FL even thounght its put her in a difficult positions just for his personal advantage.

But its really a shame. Meaby in the future I will start... more>> it again. <<less
