A suffering MC novel—the main character must be forced to suffer, be oppressed until they’re hovering between life and death, dying and living here and there. They can have a golden finger, but before getting it they must pay the price. They can also have beautiful women, but all are snake and scorpion beauties, able to look at but not eat.

“Curse” is just that type of suffering MC novel. The main character Xi Wei, after being forced to experience numerous sufferings, had, at last, become the most powerful, at the same time linking together with the world’s qi and fate. After he was oppressed too miserably, he committed su*cide and buried the entire world with him.

Zeno transmigrated, in the end arriving at “Curse of sh*t motherf*cker”.

Zeno was adopted by the MC, finally becoming the number one person/wife.

Zeno: Help, I don’t want to be destined to be raised by this perverse person!

All living things (wipe away tears): You must rescue this world, ah.

Xi Wei: Come over here.

This is a story about admiration turned love!

Betrayal for love!

... more>> The MC is shameless... and also the ML as well which is quite understandable because of their situation. The side characters were also interesting and not useless. The only downside that I think is the execution of the villains. But overall it's a nice ride!

This novel is really good! Slow paced but will definitely make you read more. I actually finished this in 1 day! The drama is also good and somewhat logical, some scenes were kind of rushed but it's still ok. I think the 1st arc is just too long and too slow unlike the last few arcs but I still like it as long as the essence of the story is there. It will really touch your heart! Though there are a lot of loopholes but I can turn a blind eye to that.

Recommended? Definitely!

A fairly enjoyable read. The translation is nicely done and the writing is nice. But damn, these two protagonists are insane, batsh*t crazy, specially towards the end. But, I guess that's what makes them so great for each other.

Also, this book seems incomplete. Like, the story is good, but a lot of plot points just sort of got sidelined and ignored. There were many tidbits of information thrown across the novel, but they never get developed further.

For example, Elves and Dark elves were mentioned but they were never used except for the elf queen, and even then she doesn't get a resolution or any real type of development to her skeleton of a character arc.

At first I was really enjoying this novel. It had an interesting plot and the MC was fun to read. But after a while, I just couldn't enjoy it anymore. If I had to describe this novel, I'd say it's a kitchen sink. The author throws in every bizarre plot twist possible, with the narrative jumping randomly from one idea to the next. One minute they're doing X and the next something entirely different is happening.

Everything is pointless! Like they work hard to get into a school and then like... more>> five chapters later, the school is a distant memory. Nothing makes sense, I can't read anymore, it's too disappointing. <<less

Really enjoyed, the relationship between the ML and MC is so well developed-- and the story actually addresses that even if you read a story to obsession like MC did, once you are in the story and change stuff then you are no longer working within the plot you know so well!

This was well written, and I enjoyed it. Translators did a good job 👍

Amazing Work! Zeno really gave life to my day. Though the story felt quite short, it was a fun ride. The ML didn't show any OOC, and stayed true to his nature to the core, same with the MC. Though I felt like sometimes that OP cheat uncle really was just used as a plot device, he has no other purpose than to move the plot forward when there's nothing happening. That's the impression I get from that weird uncle. Really out of place, and too OP. Characters also seemed... more>> to not be given a solid role in the story. Aside from MC and ML, every single other character felt forgettable with no memorable moments. Other than that, everything about the story was slaying. It was a truly fun ride. I was read this at 2019 I think, but it was unfinished so I forgot about it. I was only able to finish this now after so long. Would recommend as a light, casual, no heavy feeling story.

9.2/10 because of the forgettable side character and OP cheat uncle that pops up like a mushroom. <<less

The story is not necessarily bad but so full of plot holes I can’t even.. And the characters are so two dimensional... and I had trouble understanding till the end what is the setting - using recordings and boxed milk with straws and pressed biscuit rations of all things but other things are historical, I am still confused about that. Honestly it was like a poor fanfiction instead of something that could have been a good story. Way too many characters and poor world building is my final impression.

Before I start, kudos to the translators for their hardwork staying with this novel from start to finish.

Now the reason for 3* is because the novel have so much potential to be great, but about 2/3rd through the story, you can tell the author have gotten bored because things just rushed through and became muddled. Altho she introduced interesting idea, but then never carry through and much of it became afterthoughts, leaving many of the ideas and characters anticlimactic.

Then by near the last stretch of the novel, it just rush... more>> rush rush. Ngl, I also got bored by this lack of enthusiasm from the author that I nearly dropped the novel. But I was so close to the end that my completionist self says to endure, which I did.

Such a shame this could've been a good novel with rich world. But, sadly it became another one of the forgettable story. <<less

I could still remembered the details of the story, and I really came to like it very much.

I was pretty excited to read this and thankfully it didn’t disappoint! Honestly the age stuff really threw me in for a loop, I feel weird about it but then I guess it makes sense? Aside the age stuff, this was pretty fun to read 10/10

I was so into the whole story so much to the point that I finished it in just few days. This is the type of story I would definitely reread after few months just to experience the feelings I felt reading this again. The way this story ended left me with mixed feelings and made me long for more extras.

If you are into stories like ----

- Transmigration

... more>> - MC and ML growing up together and relying on each other.

- Cold and indifferent ML with the exception of MC

- Slowburn

The only negative thing about it was that it was rushed. I like how MC operated as a baby, it was adorable. I also felt ML's life struggles in the beginning which was heartfelt and feel bad for him.

Other characters are really useless in general and both of the main characters are relatively weak through out the novel. Feel the plot went away and we're more focus on the relationship between the 2. I had no qualms about it. But some of loopholes we didn't get explore at all like... more>> how First boss just walked away like that and let him have his goal when out retribution and didn't get into the background of his story. It was done in 3 paragraphs along other characters plots. Also damn author the lack of smut during those moments, can't you write it another area or post it on weibo.

Knowing about the book was useless till near the very end, MC didn't use any cheats given to him at all. I wish he used more of his cheats you know to be more powerful and help ML get some instant wins. Or use the thing he knows to pressure his enemies. Some characters I thought I would enjoy liking more turn out to be disappointments

I realize the more I write in the review, the more complains I have. But I did enjoy reading it, you know usually we don't get from a baby point of view and a 11 year old child suffering as beggars. I enjoyed their interactions during those times. I enjoyed MC's mindset and his clumsiness, he's very cute and reflective a mindset of a fan chasing his idol haha. I brand this as a fan turn into a baby to get close his idol and begin his chasing his husband journey in another world. <<less

I read it halfway before realizing I'd already read it before but hadn't rated it initially. Until I finished the whole thing and got reminded. Great novel just not for me. Not a fan of bittersweet endings and while the ending of this was super satisfying for some, as a simp for really happy endings, this just made me sad and crave for something fluffy.

Overall, a pretty fun one! The premise is new and interesting to me, and there was a happy ending so I'm satisfied. There were some stuff that seemed a bit wonky, like the last arc, and the writing can be a bit flat at times (especially at the timeskips. It's basically just summarization) but it's still pretty entertaining.

If you liked The Reader and the Protagonist have to be in Love, you might like this one.

Read the childhood arc a long while ago, and it was only now did I continue to read it. I must say the chapters before volume 5 was absolutely amazing! The characters had depth (?) And it was connection after connection after connection. It was only in volume 5 did it get a bit still. The chapters leading to the ending was rushed and there were some things I didnt agree with. Like 'there must be s*x to have love' although that was only mentioned once, and the hate towards... more>> bella. Overall although the leading chapters to the ending was rushed, the ending itself was honestly pretty good. Id recommend you continue reading it, if youve stopped on some early chapters. It was honestly a 4.2/5 read! <<less

The story is good, the plot is perfect and the romance is kinda slow which is not a bad thing. However sometimes MC can be s*upid beyond help and make readers feel incomparably annoying, you just have to bear with it. Nevertheless his s*upidity is not disgusting or provoke hatred so don't believe what other says and try it yourself!

It was goood? And I am encouraging you to read this BUT just be aware that there really isn't much romance here, just our MC practically clinging to our ML HAHAHAH but it was nice, it was just that it wasn't focused on the BL part, if that's what you want to read. Either way, the plot is interesting, and the events are done with a reason and the reason is the weird disposition of our ML about life which is about trust issues which is extremely hard to... more>> solve so it took our MC a long time to gain it and he must not be suspicious. Anw, I accept the plot and the fact that the romance was only there for like v5c8 and above? Idrk but fr. Altho it was a bit satisfying, but considering how long we waited, I felt robbed of their scenes loving each other lol

Beginning with a baby and father was risky and will always be and it was solved seamlessly, the misunderstanding/betrayal in the end was also done really good. I always felt like this would end badly but the author always surprises me like ' oh, it's alright, there's no need for complicated stuffs' lol

I like how they went to earth and how Zeno told Xi Wei he transmigrated, I always love it when they confess. Wanted more Xi Wei on earth tho heheheh

The premise - an angry reader transmigrates into the story he reads after finding that the all powerful male god ends up getting betrayed by everyone and commits su*cide. The somewhat unique part is that he transmigrates into a baby that gets placed into the ML's responsibility as a young beggar himself.

I liked the cute 'father'-'son' interactions between them when they're both struggling children, though this does take up most (?) of the story (slow burn). The plot is cohesive and pretty in-depth, but there are some parts that I'm... more>> confused with~ The blackening... may have been unnecessary?? but I'm ok with the ending. <<less
