when the ML confessed, I got coercion and manipulation vibes from it. It just made my face go 😟 every time the ML shows love afterwards. Esp since sometimes the follow up is about how innocent the ML thinks the MC is.

one thing to note, yes the MC is of age but I can't help but feel that bcs he was SO SHELTERED in his prev life, and when he got rebirthed, he didn't even get to exp life first before anything happened, and thus his emotional aspect has not been fully developed and also the fact that he would be dependent/imprinted on by someone who is nice/caring/wtv to him.

it also doesn't help when we read that the ML is aware that he is taking advantage of our MC. Yes our MC is no fool but he is very naive.

the only reason why it was alright was bcs we know that the ML is sincere and that the MC has good feelings towards him.

I can't help but think that I would've been way chiller if the author gave it more chapters to the MC to rly consider his feelings bcs it was quite sudden when he had wet dreams and suddenly misses ML, when gone, bcs he was the only person always around him. (Like it makes me think he only likes ML is bcs he's around so often and MC nvr had that kind of person before and also bcs he hasn't went out and interacted w more ppl.)

so yes I got over it after awhile BUTTTT. I don't know why the author likes to keep telling/hinting me that our MC is a child. Like 18/19 yeah but whenever the author introduces a new character to our MC, the character always takes note of how young/innocent/white looking our MC is, even saying he looked like a minor (ch 141).

I get it, it's his aura, he's like the embodiment of something pure but every time that happens my face goes 😟 bcs I just get reminded that the ML took advantage of the MC.

like on a wider scale, yes it isn't as bad as it seems, I understand the author wants to show he's pure, but I just keep getting hanged up on it??? Like even I don't know why. But I can prob say it's mostly related to how I'm reminded that he's so innocent and doesn't know the world and all the child like qualities.

I'm not an author so my description work sucks but I feel like theres other ways to show innocence besides telling me our MC wears yellow ducks underwear (ch 29). Like BROOOO pls stop.

just for eg, (and I might be reading into it too much), ch 59&73, ML says to MC "just grow up quickly", ch 73, Although MC had already passed his eighteenth birthday, he was still too young. There had never been a moment when ML had wished more devoutly that MC could grow up quickly and reach twenty in one night."

MC was 18 and ML wanted him to be 20 quick. Like bruh. I thought it was some age of consent thing but google says its 14 so it's prob marriagable age but usually for men it's 22 in China so idk.

ch 88, "The young man had no idea how seductive he was with his well-behaved appearance." bruv. In any other case I mightve been fine but with how much I'm reminded of that he's like a child. I can't help but read into it?

ch 90, "ML sometimes felt that this mood of his was rather like a parent facing a child, trembling and not knowing what to do because he was so nervous." like these kind of comparison just makes me 😟😃. Don't keep telling me hes a child??? Esp since they made it so he's 18/19 omg.

are there more? Maybe? Idk. Bcs gradually I just found myself sifting through their romance, I have more moments of their pets and other interactions that I enjoyed lol.
