I really enjoyed this novel. The communication between MC and ML is very funny. MC is a villainess in the sense that she won't back down from a fight, and she will say what's on her mind even if what she says won't give the other person any face. However, when she is with her husband she cannot say what is on her mind because of the settings of the character she is supposed to play. Personally, I just found it funny how she says one thing, but on her... more>> mind she does not think the same way at all and how the ML reacts to that. MC is very self-sufficient in most cases and does not need help from the ML. The highlight of the story is really how ML opens his eyes to green tea b*tches by being able to hear MC's thoughts and having those thoughts be proven correct.

I do have some comments though. Jiang Nian’s arc was very disappointing. I wish the author did something more with him. Similarly. I wish there was a deeper explanation in the start of the story how or why MC transmigrated and why she had to do things a certain way. The system that tied her barely kept her in check and only appeared a handful of times. What were the consequences if she didn't follow the settings and whatnot? That was not clearly explained.

HOWEVER, the plot twist at the end in relation to the original story line redeemed all the cons. Seriously!! Chapter 83 though! While the plot twist was really unexpected, I feel conflicted on the consequences of that decision even after the "extra" was released.

It's a bit sad how Jiang Huai acted that way with the former MC. What exactly changed the trajectory of the main story line for him to leave her nowhere to go or work and abandon his child? Even if it was to help his brother, I don't understand why he used Wu Weiyin and her child like that AND lied to her who the real father was. I don't exactly understand the sudden impulse in chapter 83 to play with her. However, Wu Weiyin should have taken the card... I guess she was just greedy. Either way, he really didn't learn from his father's mistakes.

I LOVE the FL. The novel is hilarious xD I have no idea how many times I almost choked from laughing too much. Apart from being hilarious, the development of the characters are good, especially the ML. I went from disliking him to cheering him on and then appreciating him. Readers don't be afraid from the summary, scum hubby does suffer in the hands of the FL (a lot but he can't vent). The idea of him being able to hear her thoughts was so interesting, it was well written... more>> how ML went from loathing the FL to doubting her to loving her, the transition was absolutely smooth and slow paced didn't feel rushed or quick. Really happy with how they tied up the loose ends and gave the side characters an open ending and some happy ends as well lol. Shout out to Xiao A for being a such a sweet system lol xD.

Would definitely re-read this. Thanks to the translator for bringing us this hilarious novel (*¯ ³¯*) ♡ <<less

I like MC and ML... Actually expecting a pe*verted scene even though it doesn't have a tag...

for prospective readers "give this story a chance" because it's worth your time... ^_^

This is a romance novel you've read mostly for laughs and entertaining yourself during your free time. It isn't one of the best, nor does it have a strong cast. There were a lot of plotholes too, which left me unsatisfied. To be honest, there's a lot of cons instead of pros for me. However, I still think it was worth of my time reading this since it made me laugh here and there.

I'll be dropping points (mostly the cons) which really baffled me and maybe, make... more>> you think twice before reading this novel with high expectations.

First and foremost, I want to address the romance.

● The romance is "okay". Sure, there were sweet and fluffy moments, as well as funny interactions between our main pairing. Though how it blossomed to "love" was quite jarring to me.

● The system, as well as the transmigration concept is almost irrelevant in this novel. In fact it was just used as a plot device why MC had a strict compliance to act as a villainess and a plot convenience to explain the reasoning behind the MC's logic along with certain scenarios.

The system, also known as Xiao A, completely disappeared at the later half of the story. At first this system will make their presence known, reminding its host for its lack of performance of being a vicious woman, sometimes to keep MC from being OOC of its "deeply in love" setting. This is how they became part of the story until they suddenly vanished as our MC slowly washed white and loved by her accumulating fans. Although the system gave our MC two options. It wasn't mentioned why this is a mandatory. It simply stated MC had to either act as a white lotus to "survive" from her bleak predicament, or follow the path of the original villainess of the novel. There weren't any consequences at all and we aren't even given a conclusion whether the MC did succeed/failed the option task or they were given an "exception". In fact, what was the point of this? The system at one point convinced MC to do a certain action to prevent MC losing her all of her previous efforts which at this point, really didn't matter in my eyes since it was all naught from the start when there's no sense of urgency in the first place.

● Supporting casts lack depth and have messy background stories. This is quite obvious especially towards the "Main" ML & his family. Due to sudden shifts of their motives and schemes, their previous actions became contradictory, making it very frustrating as a reader to understand them as a character.

● Although there's more I could address in this novel this will be my last point, and it would be MC's loop of repetitive scolding or manner of inner thoughts. This became very annoying and MC even purposely acts, as well as thinks like brain-dead villains from face-slapping novels. She's so desperate to ruin her marriage, her IQ sometimes plummet despite being a calculative character. She's definitely interesting but this fact made me smack myself at times questioning why I was torturing myself. <<less

Quite sweet, but sometimes slow. I agree with the people who said the ending was rushed. It was so sweet and nice but I would have liked something less abrupt.

edit: There's actually a bit more of the novel that isn't translated but can be MTL'ed pretty easily.

If I say so myself, this is one of the best novels. As far as I'm concern as to why I say that, well.. Conflicts or problems arises from love rivals, families and suitors didn't make me feel too much frustration and heartache (in any case tragedies arises from misunderstandings and deaths). So this novel is quite nice to pastime.

If you compare it to a phone, it is quite user-friendly. If in novels, heart-warming and sweet like you are fed with dog food. I like how they progress with their... more>> love.

In terms of the story itself, I really love the way she predicted how minds work for the calculating and scheming money-grubbers or white lotus b!tches. And also that the ML beside her realizes that the woman is not always what they seem when he was able to read his wife's mind (it's not spoiler! It's already in the synopsis!) So together, they faceslapped and counterattack white-lotus or any abuses or scheming that comes to them. It is worthwhile.

Although, there was sad part in that part (hahahha! Won't tell you tho). He is able to start anew in his life (double sided meaning).

What surprise me most was the child's father! Really so unexpected! Didn't see that coming tho. I really believe what that person said face value. Sigh~ (Won't still tell you though)

If you read the story, after you read this. Come back again and read this comment. You will exactly know what I'm talking about. But if you have time ahhaahah.

I had a great time reading the story. It wasn't the best of all the story I had read. But it is one of the fact that it's ONE of the best!^^ <<less

I actually read this on the other websites before I found this here. I actually like this story but couldn't help but to agree with the other reviewer who said all this misunderstanding could be avoided if MC gave their marriage a chance in the beginning. However, don't give up yet. This story is very interesting because

ML can hear MC thoughts. Its was funny and lead to many interesting events. It also play a huge role in resolve any misunderstanding between their marriage and their partner.

I usually don't write reviews but I just had to for this one. The plot is well thought out, there are very few cliches and the translation is phenomenal. The interactions between the FL and ML... I just can't stop laughing at it all, there's never a dull moment when you put these two together! I just love this author's work and this one is by far one of my favorite CN webnovels!???

the first few chapters didn’t really hit me right away but as the story progress, couldn’t help but wanting more. This one really is hilarious. I always have a grin on my face with the FL and ML interactions. Can’t get any better. As I’ve mentioned, it wasn’t catchy at first thus the 4 star however the translator insisted it’s worth the read so be patient till you get to the good part

As many other stories, it starts out with an interesting female lead and ends with a scum male lead. Really, this story is quite predictable, which is a shame because the Mc's original attitude starts out funny.

I read this for three days. Its pretty good. The MC truly has spunk. She's schemer but that's only to people who scheme against her. I love her because she's not a Mary Sue. She's not a tragic martyr who just waits to be bullied. In fact she can be cold and vindictive if she wants to. But only to people who wants to harm her and tries to counterattack.

The ML despite her flaws loves her anyway. I love how he was patient and considerate. He finally grew to love... more>> her because he listened to her thoughts. Its true that they had no communication at all and never liked her for the past two years but he grew to like her. Then from there, he grew to love her. I love how he always protected her. At least he wasn't s*upid to fall for the white lotus and green tea b*tch. The love or courtship was slow paced you need to read it at the latter part to appreciate how kind and understanding the ML was. Because he was also wrong. He never liked the MC. He was indifferent towards her and even believed those rumors and scandals surrounding her.

I think waiting for two years just for him to come back also contributed why it took longer for the MC to accept him.

The side characters were also good. I love Lou Jie and Anya as well as Jiang nian and Jiang huia. They all had problems of their own but the story focused mainly on the life of the MC and ML.

It was a fun read. The MC had no powers or cheats even though she had a system. To be honest the system s**ked. But she was great because she knew how to solve her problems due to her own intellect and acting skills.

I truly recommend it. <<less

My first novel I read with this system administrator thing and I like it! I read this before so I don't really remember much the story, but I remember I enjoyed it. It's a good read to pass your time.

Quite a good read. Short and fluffy. Just the right amount of everything.

I was hoping for an epilogue or a happy ending for Han Xiao even with another. He was quite good and he deserves to have HE.

Waaaaaah that was a great one! How should I put this? Usually, I don't really like if there's some misunderstandings but the exception for it is if the misunderstandings are covered by comedy. And in this story, it is. It was hilarious, really. But honestly, I prefer it if the ML suffered more since he's really not a very good ML.

But just like the FL said, during those 2 years of their "marriage", they never had any feelings for each other so there's no grievances. But still, it's better if the ML suffered more (like he begged that there's no divorce hehe).

About the FL, she's very good. Usually, those who were reborn with a system as a villainess, will indeed choose to turn over a new leaf to escape their fate but she deviated from that path so I'm very satisfied with this twist. She's also someone who won't swallow her grievances and she'll retaliate immediately so I really like her character design. She's good to those good to her but petty for those who schemed against her.

Also, the supporting characters, albeit not very detailed with their character design, but still, they're not just background characters. They're still described in a way that they don't have similar character, so they are distinguishable from each other.

Among them, I have a complicated feeling for Jiang Huai. He's not good but not entirely bad either. He's so lost every time family relationship was mentioned. I can feel that he also wants to acknowledge his son and have a family of his own but his son's mother's attitude hinder it and made him more lost about family relationship.

Overall, it was really enjoyable. The plot isn't very unique but the characters (especially the FL) are refreshing. I really like it. 10/10!

Really funny, the Idea and execution of ML being able to read MC's mind was pretty good and lead to a lot of funny moments.

I liked that as soon as MC's and ML's relationship was actually confirmed and they were getting along with each other she drew a pretty clear line with any 2nd or 3rd ML that was jumping around in the background, giving one an extremely clear "little brother" card and telling him it would be better if he went abroad to study, and changing her address of... more>> the other one from senior/teacher to a professional "Mr. ___" as soon as things got serious with the ML.

I like that much better than many female leads in other novels who still string the poor 2nd and 3rd ML's along for some benefits and treat them like spare tires, instead of drawing a clear line and stating through obvious words and actions "I'm taken, IDC if you're interested in me, go look for love somewhere else" <<less

The first few chapters are extremely funny, by the time you finish laughing you are half way through. It's a different kind of transmigration story. I like our FL a lot, she's realistic, funny and knows to put herself first always.

Wellll it's ok, the loving progress was there, but I still feel they take too many chapter to blossom it and was a bit rushed in the end of the part, comedy was there. Honestly I feel there's too many side love bud that ended being terminate (not much tho just 2-3) still feel it a lot ahahahah, that bcs they had bitter end :'' umm, well, we can't do everyone happily ever after everytime still good thing to read at least they finished in 92 chpters
