What would you do if your planet ceased to exist after a nap?

Once upon a time, there was a princess…

Scrap that.

Once upon a time, there was a hermit called Yao Si.

She was an orphaned hikikomori who lived a peaceful and mundane life in her cosy little apartment.

Just when she thought she’d live out the rest of her mundane days… she died.

By a strange twist of fate, she was somehow turned into a vampire, even worse, a fifth-generation weakling with no combat ability at all.

Vampires had their own little secret society, cultural feuds, and called themselves bloodlings.

With the threats of another civil war among the bloodlings, Yao Si remained composed.

‘Even if this war of bloodlings rages on again, it will need a miracle to affect me,’ she thought.

So, a miracle occurred…

When she was woken up from a millennnia-long nap, she found that her beautiful mother planet Earth had ceased to exist.

Even the oldest bloodling in the entire universe was now one of her grand [ times infinity] child.

Everyone will have to call her “ancestor” from this moment onwards!

The peasant Yao Si had successfully revolted and taken charge, let’s see who dares to call her a weakling anymore!

“Hey! You, that guy over there!

“Yes, you.

“Come on, let’s fight, if I lose, I will call you ‘dad’!”

So… she has a new dad.

Yao Si “…”

Mu Xuan “…”

F*king AWESOME

- Funny FMC ✓

- Fast story dev ✓

- Huge, amazing and unique world background ✓

- Not your overly use transmigrator poison or medical genius ✓

- Not your boring slow pace story telling ✓

- The author of My Master Disconnected Yet Again and My Disciple Died Yet Again "You Qian" ✓

- ONLY 198 chapter ✓

- No overly used, boring and tasteless face slapping ✓

- Because this is You Qian work, you can get a guarantee of "No Mary Sue FMC", "No overly cold ML", "No overly drop dead s*upid villain", "No overly use misunderstanding that keep FMC and ML apart", and "No overly use face slapping that keep you wondering why you read this back then" ✓
Overall, this is really good and highly recommended. I always want QI to welcome You Qian work, and I am so glad that IT IS HERE!

Thank u QI. Finally my long wait wish come true

Only 15 chapters are out but I couldn't stop myself from using Google Translate and keep going. This is holy cow awesome!

Yao Si mysteriously becomes a vampire ('bloodling', 'blood clan') one day. She doesn't know who turned her. A vampire war is going on and Yao Si is caught in the middle of it. Unfortunately she is a 5th generation vampire at the bottom of the food chain. Stuff happens and she goes into hibernation.

She wakes up X billions of years into the future. Vampires dominate the galaxy and their... more>> generation numbers are in triple digits. A number of misunderstandings interfer and mess up Yao Si's life. It is on an oh-my-gawd level. I somehow wonder about the IQ and sanity of some characters. Will Yao Si be able to keep it together?

Other than being hilariously funny, the story goes at a fast pace. I'm not sure if the 'action' genre should be added. There is action but (so far) only on a superficial level, moving the plot forward.

The male lead character has just entered the stage about where I'm at in the story, so I can't say much about him. Suffice to say he is high spec.

Anyhow, this is addicting. Make sure you've set aside enough time since you won't be able to stop once you start reading this! <<less

This isn't my kind of comedy. I found my self rolling my eyes too much and bored with the dumb humor. ? I mean REALLY!? Most of the humor centers around how f*ing dumb a side character acts, or how d*mn carefree the MC is, or some characters ignorant assumption. To the point

Spoiler

She stayed inside an online game for over a month because she assumed and the bloodlings assumed and no light bulbs were coming on at all in their BRAINS! ?‍♀️

[collapse]

The MC's go with the flow, not giving a d*mn about logic mind set can be exhausting to someone like me who prefers a clever protagonist. ? At first, there were moments of humor, but I was done by chapter 23 because I wasn't amused.?

The good translation was the only reason I didn't give it 1 star. <<less

This story reads like crack (the book is fully translated so you can get started right away...!)

Really crack.

Like episodes of Adventure Time crack.

... more>> The pacing is absolutely crazy fast and a shitton of things happen in the 200 chapters in a very wide variety of genres that even I have a hard time believing actually happened.

But anyway, the story mostly focused on humor/adventure and parodies pretty much every genre in the known universe, from a rags-to-riches story-reversed to academy-idol-turned-interstellar-crisis-turned-mecha-contest-turned-MMORPG-turned-xianxia-sects-turned-zombie-virus and more! Almost everything is a running gag, which can get slightly tiring after awhile because the universe is literally--

incapable!

of!

being!

serious!

But that's ok if you like things with zero drama/angst, and most of it is fluffy, ridiculous, or funny.

There's a bunch of twists and the big things are interconnected and foreshadowed, but there's also a ton of dropped plotlines since the plot moves so fast (if you blink you miss the resolution).

Spoiler

I would have liked to know what happened to MC's "contracted beast" and the xianxia storyline, if that guy had ever managed to cultivate to the top...

[collapse]

I recommend this if you like an ultra shameless (and very very active!) MC (who acts like regular people, aka, sometimes slacks off, sometimes works hard, not-genius, sometimes super cool, sometimes super s*upid) who usually has some common sense.

MC is a strong, ditzy, punch'em-in-the-face type character while the ML seems to be more of the facial-paralyzed-awkward genius (?)

ML is the most boring character for me since he's a little too perfect and kind of doesn't really have a personality. But the romance is very background until much later in the story, and there's a bit too much destiny/fate/blah mumbo jumbo in it for a realistic relationship. I'd say the author is not the best at creating believable romances (very much better at comedy).

Spoiler

He is a very very sweet innocent cinnamon roll though, which is pretty great. The MC has to take the initiative to teach him how to get used to intimacy like kisses etc. very cute

Not a masterpiece, but still a fun read to spend several evenings with.

This story defies logic, but in a comedic setting you get used to it so it isn't very jarring.

One complaint, more romance would've been better.

if u like slapstick/dumb humor then this one is for you otherwise if you're expecting an awesome story then don't bother.

i find the premise interesting at first but it fell short of everything. Maybe it wasn't supposed to be read in one sitting because the enjoyment I feel when I read it like, three days a chapter and all chapters at once are vastly different.

too much slapstick/dumb humor. The plot is also kind of all over the place and being overshadowed by the humor. The themes have too much on... more>> it's plate (intergalactic vampire with a dash of everything from school arc, mecha arc, even xuanhuan arc). In fact it kind of bore me halfway that I ended up skipping to last five chapters and still managed to understand what's going on.

but still it's not a badly written novel, it just fell short of my expectations. <<less

It might not be everyone's cup of tea, but I found the story to be hilarious and very enjoyable. The plotline of each chapter makes me want to punch someone in the face, in a good way. It is super cringe and each revelation is more mindblowing than the previous. I read this novel with a huge grin plastered on my face.

Not reccomended for those who enjoy good story development because this novel have a literal neck-breaking speed of stordev. No second male lead. Cute, high spec male lead. No... more>> exaggerated physical description of the characters. We know the ML is hot and the MC is flat chested, but that's it. <<less

This is a fun comedy series that is supposed to be sci-fi, but the technological advancement is inconsistent with little to no detail about how certain things happen or how the reader is supposed to visualize these things. There is some genre hopping going on with a mix of vampire, sci-fi, Xianxia, school, and mecha arcs, but none of them are particularly strong. The main genre is comedy, but the arc endings are often weak. The plot is not enough to keep me interested, so I just read it for... more>> the comedy. That said, although the comedy has its funny moments, the jokes get pretty redundant.

Character development is fairly weak, which I believe is mostly for the sake of gags. The "romance" is supposed to be between the MC and her dad. Although I can accept some novels with in*est as a theme, the dad has a very flat, possessive personality and isn't even remotely interesting as a character. Since he doesn't have any substance, he's not likeable.

The MC looks nothing like the girl on the cover, so watch out for that confusion.

Although this is a cute and entertaining light-hearted comedy to read, it's not for everyone. One of its good points is that it was completed at less than 200 chapters. At this point, I'm uncertain if I'll continue it now that it's become premium. <<less

This novel was a crazy, fun ride~

The ML and FL are OP and cute together. The other characters were made to be unique and were given their own plot twists. The story started out with the FL realizing she had become a vampire and somehow spectated a fight between two higher level vampires and ended up sleeping after that for a long, long time. When she woke up, the Earth was already destroyed and the future generations of vampires became the strongest beings in the universe as they could not... more>> die and have abilities. The FL was then worshipped in the Red Planet where the vampires reside as she was the only one left in the first 10 generations (FL was 5th gen). Turns out, the vampire who turned her is still alive and was sleeping the whole time, which is ML. ML woke up and realized immediately that FL was his 'cub' so he doted on her excessively. At first, ML would tell her to call him father as he was the one who converted her with his blood, but later on would correct FL to call him Xuan Xuan (very cute uwu). FL later realized that it was common sense in the vampire race that the 'guide' and his/her cub are mates/lovers, and it took her quite some time to change her perception of ML from 'father' to 'lover' lol.

I was wondering why FL gets so OP sometimes when she was supposed to be a weak chicken then I learned that
Spoiler

In a twin universe, she was the blood/vampire queen (that ruled that universe btw) that could suppress all vampires. She was looking for her contractor, which is some sort of fated partner that could give her death. Ofc, the fated contractor was ML in the current universe, which is also the King of the Universe. FL transported herself to ML's universe and suppressed her abilities and memories so she thought this whole time that she was born as an orphan human. ML was born for her and was waiting the whole time. When FL was in junior high?, FL donated blood to ML and ML bite-kissed her. So rather than ML turning FL into a vampire, it was actually the other way around lol.

lolllll who tagged this doting love interest? What romance?

You can't count him, he's just an overbearing nanny daddy. :P

But no one else around our MC is even as close to rational as him... despite how irrationally overprotective he can be. The only reason his tendencies can appear yandere is because of how op he is, so his standards of destruction are higher?

... more>> --------All spoilers in this review have been introduced in the first few chapters.--------

Anyway, I read 3 comments today and they don't lie. Instead of experiencing world-hopping through multiple lives or novel plotlines, each planet literally has its own style of genre, from the planet for cultivating into celestials, to the mmorpg planet, to the different colonies of races that you get in sci-fi space novels, and now we have mecha robots!!!! :D All of these are connected by the Galactic whatever organization, so I hope to eventually see more interactions with that government, see how the galaxies enforce peace and protection laws like Orville, Star Trek, and such. Actually, the diversity by planets aspect resembles It's Not Easy Being a Man in the Future.

Our protagonist herself is of the classy (?) and noble (?) vampire race and planet, and she gets there WITHOUT REINCARNATION. I repeat, SHE NEVER DIED (unless you count the vampire kind lol). NO [significant] CHEATS FROM PREVIOUS LIFE MEMORIES #mydogatemyuniversitydegree. Her race is the only remnant of the humans that survives post-apocalyptic. I don't even understand how her clothes survived all those years, and the author never dwelled much on our MC's image at all. You know what is ridiculous? Her amazing ability to sit back and watch her one mistake or misunderstanding blow out of proportion until she's way too late to do anything to fix it. She can start a rage, ignite a war, ab*se top of the top tier authorities, and leave behind legends with just a few sarcastic words, or by not communicating clearly, even in the moments when she's given her chance to clarify herself. I don't know about you guys, you might call her down-to-earth, but sometimes she just seems pretty straight up ignorantly rude, acting more upon her own assumptions of people rather than hearing them out. She's not the only character that does that, but... yeah, enough ranting, haha. This was supposed to be a short review.

If you can ignore the plot holes, obvious or obscure, and the minor misuse of English words, this is very entertaining to read. Over-the-top, but not too dramatic....? Just read it for the laughs. I rank National School Prince is a Girl, It's Not Easy Being a Man in the Future, and Release That Man over this, but My Dad is the Galaxy's Prince Charming is still well worth your time, more than those other cliché soap operas that wring readers around with useless female leads and dominating male leads, tragedies and poorly-placed plot devices. <<less

This is a fun read >v< ML is cute, MC is cute. Light to no drama at best (just how I like it).

Though this isn't the greatest, it's still amazing, also I'm rating based on how I enjoyed it. The plot is fun and the title is very misleading to those who read who haven't read the novel. And I wanted an already complete story.

I recommend it for people that want a light story to read.

Well... this novel is so... random. It's mixture of western (vampire) and eastern (celestial and cultivation) forklore and also the other thing. The story is indeed hilarious but I think it's a bit dragging too. Also, MC and ML seem having the same character with the one from "My Disciple Died Yet Again" and some scene even make me feel de javu (it's like reading MDDYA all over again).

Apart from that, I still think that the story is worth to read. These are my favorite parts about this novel:

Spoiler
    • Like in MDDYA, MC's remarks in every chapters are hilarious. It successfully make me laugh all the time.
    • The villains in this novel don't stay as a villain in the end. I especially love how MC (accidentally) erases Li Zheng's memory of losing a cub that makes him crazy and returns him to the kind man he used to be by converting him again.

this book... it was really cute <3 and by 'cute' I don't mean: "Aw babby itty bitty baby, " no, I mean: "cinnamon roll c'mere let's take over the universe, " kinda cute.

anyway, we stan a powerful couple whose capabilities are OP and never-ending. this novel was on my reading list for quite some time because WebNovel wants to rob me of all my money and I said no<3, therefore denying another amazing possible read UNTIL. THAT SACRED WEBSITE THAT SHALL NOT BE NAMED. We owe that website a lot,... more>> but we love those translators. plotwise, it wasn't some Shakespearian masterpiece that questioned your values and/or morals, but it was sweet! and for those lookin' for a nice romance, it says romance-SUBPLOT so don't hold ya breath.

I think that that the author's whole motto was "short, sweet, not simple, " because yes, it was cute, but WHY OH WHY was there no more elaboration? worldbuilding! worldbuilding could have replaced several of those funnily unnecessary adventures that would have saved us some time. also, it might be me but the flow feels kinda... off? funky? a lil' strange? I'm not sure, but I'm not a fan, we don't stan. the ending was, errrrr, nice? no not nice, kittens are nice but this? this was mediocre, open, and felt like the author was gonna come back in twenty years and rise its' corpse. hmph. oh! and be sure to check out my other reviews for some good novels! and absolutely tr*sh novels that will steal ur soul <3

I love the author, she (?) got such a funny and light-hearted writing. Where can you find a novel that uses kaomoji?? (For those who don't know what kaomoji is -> ¯\_ (ツ) _/¯, (╯°□°) ╯︵, ∑ (゚ロ゚〃) <- this is kaomoji).

And this novel is great. It's obviously a comedy, you can laugh from beginnning to end. Just 198 chapters, so it's a quick read. There's romance, but even that got a ton of comedy. The plot got some holes, but nothing that can't be overlooked.

Anyways. Great novel. Five... more>> stars. Would read it again. Recommended to all. Yao Si is awesome and Mu Xuan is too cute to be true.

I would say more, but all that comes to mind its: "It's great! So funny! Go read it!!" <<less

An entertaining novel with a combination of comedy, action, and a tinge of romance. Sort of like a 3-in-1 coffee.

A good novel to read. For the first few chapters, it fails to capture my interest. Only until it reaches around 42 chapter, it finally compels me to finish reading the whole book.

This is hilarious. I'm laughing at nearly every chapter, which is why it's five stars from me.

Truthfully it should be more like three stars based on story and character depth, which aren't actually that original (though the mash-up of sci-fi/wuxia/vampires is interesting). But... how to say this... sometimes even though it doesn't make a whole lot of sense, you just can't stop yourself from enjoying something. This is story that did that for me. Every chapter there were scenes, weird plots, character interactions that were out of this world (literally... more>> in outer space), and every bit of it was delightful. I think the author was having a blast, just having fun without trying to force anything deeper, and it translated in a weird masterpiece of enjoyment. In terms of story/plot I would go so far as to say that it's one of those cases where it's so bad that it's good. Also it doesn't take itself seriously. At all.

Did it make sense? No. But it was well written enough to make me accept all the outlandish premises of the story. Or maybe they were all so outlandish that they became acceptable... Can you tell I don't understand myself why I loved this story so much? I couldn't stop reading until the end.

The author did a remarkable job in representing a person from our time suddenly thrust into a universe thousands of light years (in both time and space) away from her original starting point (our time right now). Basically she's the only one with common sense, from the readers point of view, or the only one with no common sense from other characters points of view. It's not an easy feat. She's clueless about everything, she doesn't understand what they tell her, and even when she understands the words she's still lost in translation. The culture shock is real and we get to feel it too. And somehow it all works.

Ultimately it's a good time, and enjoyable read.

It's hilarious and that's that! <<less

Good novel that deserves the 5-star rating. So hilarious and fun to read that you should skip some plot holes (about time & distant unit and galaxy size).

There are not many arcs in the whole story as it's rather short.

So when the irrelevent (and a bit boring?) plots in some chapters show up, they're too obvious and destroy the flow of the story and reduce the star rating from 5 to 4. For example :

  • the reaction of the space station people when she wakes up. It's too exergag when compared to the rest of the story.
  • the school's student president election,
  • the xianxia traitor.
SPOILER (?)

This novel is the love stories of, not the MC but the flock of the single dogs!

A single dog whose life spans billions of years and has power that rules over uncountable multiverses of space. (flip the table!).

One single dog is bad enough, not to say the flock.

To leave that single-dog status, some dogs make plan that may destroy all galaxies of this universe to find a spouse.

"So what !?!? Is this universe more important than finding my spouse?"

Morale of this novel: do not corner the single dog!

Only the weakling MC can stop this universe-wide calamity. But..

Spoiler

.. She has no power at all because she is the weakling aka the newborn baby vampire which still demands 24x7 attention from her daddy guardian.

This is a cute story with some pretty hilarious arcs. It's short compared to My Disciple Died Again and doesn't have as many dramatic/serious moments. MC spends 99% of the story clueless and with unreliable powers, so it's a pretty different power dynamic compared to My Disciple Died Again. It's more romance-focused.

The translation quality isn't as good as for My Disciple Died Again, especially when it comes to hitting the right notes for translating the jokes. But it's readable and it's only 55 chapters in at time of this review.

I found it same same but different with My Disciple Died Yet Again. FL and ML both had somewhat same personality and style but different settings and background. Even their relationship is somewhat similar (teacher-apprentice with teacher very caring and apprentice very rowdy).

The author's style is quite funny and there are moments where I loled, but I found the plot getting more and more ridiculous. One chapter you would be in cultivation world, next chapter you would be fighting in mecha. Coupled with insufficient details, you sometimes get confusion. It... more>> is possible to create a good comedy story with better pacing and world building, but this is not it for me. This is more like quick paced slapstick; if you like this kind of style, this read is suitable for you.

Dropping this for now, but may continue if I feel like enjoying some s*upid/turn-off-your-brain comedy read to spend time. <<less
