This story is about a pro gamer streamer that's steadily rising up the charts and the extraordinarily talented student who is actually a second generation rich kid who has a successful businessman for a father and a film empress for a mother and a sister who is a famous actress. Aside from that he's lethally good looking. So, he's the seemingly all around perfect guy with the exception of having a loli voice and because of it he tends to spew out stoic, few worded... more>> responses or none at all.

I know it's a bit to take in. But that's the character settings of the MC. To be fair, he's not unlikeable and despite being quiet, he is by no means boring or flat, and it is entertaining to read about the inner-workings of his thoughts. He's also quite complimentary to ML's personality and temperament.

The start of the novel seems fairly slow so I would suggest to keep reading until they meet and that's when it starts to get a lot more interesting. It's like MC flipped ML's switch and it just keeps getting better and better after that. It's slow burn, mutual pining and mutual thirst. Aside from that this novel will leave you in stitches because of their bickering and shameless antics (ML). With regards to everything else, ML is like a lazy cat but he turns into puppy mode whenever it has to do with the MC. This ML makes me laugh to death, I cannot.

Edit: This couple really.. Too cute. But they balance each other well. Personally I think they could be versatile even in that one fade to black nsfw scene but since the author proclaimed it as such, it will just remain in the imagination. Even though MC doesn't like to speak much it's his actions that speaks volumes about his feelings and how much he adores the ML and that what they have is mutual and beyond the surface of just person enduring and someone being shameless. In conclusion, you can probably read this novel for simple entertainment without thinking too deeply about the details and if you can stomach how overpowered to death MC's character settings is. <<less

Ying, ying, ying! THIS WAS A f*ckING GEM. I absolutely love this with all of my heart, soul and entire being. It's in the slower, slice-of-life pace, but it's written so f*cking well. The MOBA stuff was a bit confusing at first but the very helpful footnotes from CG is much appreciated.

The development was slow but steady. I have never really seen a pair develop so well--not too fast or slow--and make me so satisfied in the end. It's impressive how they haven't even met in... more>> many chapters later, but they still made things interesting!

KK (Kang Shengzhe) and Liangliang (You Liangxing) are just, so, so precious, especially my boy KK. He's so unique to any gongs (not a spoiler!!! it's in the summary!!!) and semes, and have cemented in my heart due to this. Both of them are characterized so well. They are also a great inversion to the usual gong-shou pairs. I like how it's presented very well, not as a gimmick but instead a genuine characteristic of the novel that made the characters so memorable and developed.

Liangliang has some pretty uncomfortable moments though as he... well, physically harms KK. KK apparently has dull pain receptors but that doesn't excuse Liangliang's excuse. Though later on, he does regret his actions.

Great pacing, great chemistry, great characterization... this is a novel I definitely, wholeheartedly recommend. I have floundered a little bit with binging this, but I think that it's not meant to be binged, but savored.

Though, my -.5 is from how this is very, very focused to our only CP. The other characters are there to support them without much going on, but there are some traits and moments here and there. Though I think if they would be explored further (with another possible CP but hasn't gone anywhere other than friendship) the pace would be thrown off. I'm glad that they have focused on our main CP to maximize their relationship, but its detriment is its slice-of-life nature and how it only really focused on them.

Despite the summary, this novel is actually less about gaming and more about two people who found love through gaming. There are heavy game elements in the beginning, and in order to understand references, some understanding of MOBA games is required -- luckily, the game mentioned is a real mobile MOBA game commonly known as Honor of Kings published by Tencent Games. Nevertheless, it's possible to comprehend the novel without any knowledge of the game.

On the other hand, ML can only be described as a big lazy bug; he's exceedingly tall and smart but chooses to laze around all day and his only conviction is to stream video games professionally. The two meet up and become friends under some strange combination of internet trolling, misunderstanding, and MC's sister's intervention. Their relationship progresses smoothly from there and their interactions are fairly humorous due ML's many hijinks.

The only downside to this novel is that the overarching plot is relatively simple. MC and ML hardly encounter any obstacles as MC is an all too capable Gary Stu -- he's beauty, he's grace, he'll punch you in the face... literally. Please ask ML's missing tooth.

The ending was all right, although many side characters were neglected at the end. It came at the point where the novel started to drag, so I believe the author had no choice but to end it, which was invariably a good decision as this novel didn't need to be overly long.

I really have to applaud the translation as it is very well done and the it's clear that the translator is not only a gamer, but has knowledge of the real game as well as modern Chinese memes. Kudos to the translator, and highly recommend this novel if you're looking for modern fluff. <<less

It was very cute and fluffy, but I think MC is a bit too unrealistic, being too perfect, plus how his parents react afterwards. I like both MC and MLs personality and interactions, just that some parts of MC is a bit too much and ML in the extra is too lazy (wished the author didn't made him sound too bad in the extra).

Well this is an enjoyable ride, lotsa sweetness no blood dog drama, unexpected personalities of gong and shou. Hahahahaha I wasn't expecting the shou to be more manly than the gong, this is the 1st. The shou is really too cool and handsome ahahaha and the reason he becomes a shou is.... well quite funny. On a side note this novel should def fall under yaoi rather than shounen ai cos it has NSFW.

I have started reading this novel when its still on its few translated chapters (it was because of the genre that Chrysanthemum Garden gave to it: MOAN ?) and I felt like I started reading it just yesterday. When the novel had come to its final chapters, the disappointment and sadness started to pent up my heart. Disappointed because I wanted to read more about the couple's story (I just didn't want it to end) and sad because despite the happy ending, I could only cry... more>> as I can't see the next chapter button anymore. My attachment towards this novel is huge. This was one of the novels I always look forward to read while waiting for its updates.
