It was good. TBH, it's not so perfectly done #tag non-linear storytelling needs to be added because of how shamble-jumble the narration is. I was quite confused sometimes. The point could be I was scheming through it. I forgot when I had stopped before. I had to reread from start to end. The most impactful part was the illusionary sea arc.

Since people are already saying the plot is similar to SVSSS it's true you will picture it & they will relapse with one another in your mind. The only difference is not a toxic relationship. Consented.

(To the people who are comparing it) I don't want to compare it to other novels such as GDC, SVSSS, they are miles apart, do not be offended please MXTX writhing is prominent. It is s*upid to compare just because they have few similarities. Thousands of people are writing they have their own ideas that could have similarities too. I felt that plot are very close. That's it.

For the first 60 chapters or so I honestly loved this story, the characters and settings were interesting, there were some mysteries to solve and overall I really enjoyed it. It's mostly a fun read for entertainment with no angst and very little drama. Perfect for a weekend read.

That being said, I do have a couple of complains, sometimes the author went on tangets for 2-3 chapters about things that didn't have any impact on the story overall, it seemed as if they just wanted to cram as many couples... more>> as possible in a single book. Also, after 50+ chapters of slow burn the relationship of the main couple goes from 0 to 100, which isn't to my liking.

    the plot line about Duan Yuan was full of cliches, the story could have worked perfectly fine no matter his gender and forcing the "all girls like x and y and could never be friends with boys" stereotype was annoying

An interesting cultivation novel. It does start off pretty similar to scum villain, but the main bulk of the story was pretty different since the master-disciple dynamic is generally more sceptical-coaxing rather than possessive-cold. This story also touches on lost opportunities, regret, and 2nd chances. The storyline isn't exactly overly special for a cultivation novel, but it was interesting overall. For those that find scum villain gruesome or uncomfortable, this may still be ok for you since there's not much over-possessiveness or sadism. ML and MC are generally respectful of each other and MC is a pretty strong independent character as well. <<less

I can't say much but just that I like this novel.

I love that the ML did not just right away forgave MC and their story was a step by step one.

The story is not too great and one of a kind but I usually like giving full stars to novel that at least made me a smile.

I like it. (●´ω｀●) It's a nice story, even if it doesn't have the most extravagant plot or the most baffling plot twists. If you hope for a heavy story full of unexpected twists and turns, this one isn't going to be your best choice.

BUT it is a decent story that I personally very much enjoyed, especially when you want to read something that won't make your head spin and smoke but isn't just fluff that gives you caries. A nice story for in between you could say. (●´ω｀●) Some... more>> parts made me laugh, some made me feel compassionate, some made me giggle like a fool.

I must say that the MC and the ML are such. Great. Characters! I just love them to death, I love their chemistry and the fact that their relationship is quite healthy. It's a nice change from the usual angst and drama and despair I read (●´ω｀●)

Besides all that, the translation is very well written too! Thank you to dear Translator Xixi for their hard work!

I recommend this story to everyone, who wants a little break from the usual angst, to those that may be first getting started reading those kind of novels (there aren't much terms to confuse you, it's quite easy to get the hang of it) and just everyone whose interest was picked! I believe it's worth a read!

I loved every second of this. The MC and ML's relationship is so pure and respectful. It's kind of rare for me to see a xianxia transmigration bl novel to be so heartwarming with no r*pe, s*xual abuse, or dubcon so I was pretty happy to read this. Def one of the best of its genres.

I was interested in this novel's description. MC and ML were rebirth so you can imagine how many situations could happen.

Well, I think it's good, but not how I was expected.

Villains are 2D and a little bit boring.

MC/ML are well done and great

I usually avoid it if at all possible, but there's just an abundance of them during my search for good fantasy/wuxia BL novel on this site that I decided to give this one, out of many others, a go due to the summary, the good rating, and not too long or too short.

There's a reason for it, but even if that in itself doesn't make sense if you really question it, but it's okay with me cause, like I said I'm not into transmigration in the first place. Lol

What I like about the story is that the love is gradual, and the ML really really love and care for the MC once they accepted their feelings and resolved their issues. I like the love. Wish author focused more on it during

What I dislike about the story is that sometime it drags on with really no purpose other than just slaying monster adventures. Those could've been used to develop or tied some loose ends. For example, near the end. Even though that part of the end does open up another possibility, but it's a little too late.

This story have a lot of potential even though it lacks in world building and sometimes overlooked some crucial characters/story developments. But, it is still a good read for a 79 chapters, and for the love story.

Definitely give it a read. Just don't think too hard. XDD <<less

For now I think it's boring, seriously I don't like such stories because I'm enough to read this novel which name I'm lazy to remember and call but you know. If you want to other people read cliche-novel a certain genre you should do this special and interesting.

MC pretty usual, I'm irritated that even he trying make harem for ML, just why. He doesn't really s*upid but is dull. Exactly he is have golden finger and all skills of original body is his own, but he anyway too weak.

ML also... more>> doesn't leave impression at all. He is hates teacher, then he likes him after all this he will be have obsession, I guess. For example I can say about Lo Binge that he is fell in love in first person who have been kind for him and that he is cruel and cold with other, but he is like puppy with teacher and often crying. Also I can imagine his appearance, but here characters just handsome and tall, about their characters idk anything.

Maybe I'm biased But people who read Modao or Blossom Officials said that this recommended to read and I don't see anything why this is should read, because I saw other stories with such plot. And I don't like read same things twice and call this as different stories.

In addition I see this like comedy because storyline jumping like it wants and this is abruptly for me. I don't see firmly setting or purpose, he haven't system with tasks. I mean I don't see crucial moment which causes the ML's love or other feelings. Yes, this is not bad book, but this is empty and I don't want to read it for the end. <<less

SVSS is my fave novel, so obviously I like to read every novel that is said to be similar. This is one of the better ones. ML and MC are cute, and better fleshed out than other, quite popular SVSS-like novel coughcough. The plot is also unusual, which is a plus point, although execution is kinda lacking (maybe it is the first novel of the author?). Sometimes the plot do seems choppy and made me lost what happened and why it happened, but still an enjoyable read. The end isn't that memorable... (ok I'm a little mad)

But the beginning was good. It reminded me of "The Founder of Diabolism". The 2 main characters are very similar. (ok, the ML's character is just as indifferent as LZ but for the rest...) and there are some mysteries they want to unravel.

The translation gets better at the end. :p

Edit: the second couple Quin Yuan is the most similar to MDZS's main couple.

It was a good story, although I didn't quite feel the romance fully until the last few chapters, but it's still a nice consensual relationship.

The plot was really good, it turned out very differently than I expected, in a positive way of course.

It surely has its flaws, but so does every novel. I enjoyed it.

The beginning to the middle part was pretty good, but I feel like the ending was quite a bit dull. I wished they at least had a banquet of being dao companions or something for the sect like what the martial uncle suggest. Dont expect any hard yaoi scene too, maybe that's why my I didn't like it as much, lol
