The story is mostly the MC talking & thinking to himself for chapters. A little more presence is his shadow guard An Jiu so the story progression is quite narrow.

MC is overly dependent on his shadow guard An Jiu. They develop feelings for each other without any incidence but time.

Ahhh! I really liked this novel! It's unfortunate that it's too short and leaves me wanting more. The author had warned ahead of time that it was suppose to be a short one. So the ending is abrupt but still worth reading.

MC, Xia Qian'an, transmigrated from the modern world into the 7th son of a prince. ML, An Jiu, is his shadow guard. Due to MC's social anxiety and being in an unfamiliar world, he relies on and clings to ML.

MC wants to live a quiet life. However, he catches the attention of the Crown Prince and brought into the Eastern Palace (Crown Prince's residence). He stays in the palace for six months with ML until the Crown Prince rebelled. ML flees with MC but they died.

MC wakes up back in the modern world and ML is found injured outside his home. ML starts learning about the modern world and helps in MC's social anxiety treatment. Later ML's identity as a prince in the ancient world is discovered.

i loved this. Simple and straightforward. Interactions between the MC and ML are very enjoyable. Loved the twist, it felt fresh, the ending was a bit abrupt but it still did it's thing. Good read overall.",)

Well, it's good? Mostly. The early chapter in the ancient times were good. And it could've ended there actually.... more>>

The rest of the chapters were more or less just cliche plots, backgrounds and entertainment that wasn't even necessary.

also, I'd like to complain. It sure is thinkable how even though the content of the film is so controversial, it wasn't even noticed.

ok, imagine this. firstly, the film was about homosexuality, it's a given that'll be hated since not all people are still open to. second, it's in the ancient times and is a diversion of history. third! in the "officially recorded and recognized" history, one of the characters in the film is written as already in a relationship with another person... this, it was mentioned one or two times by the haters but nobody dared to pursue it further? also, the director isn't smart enough that he actually this type of plot to pave way for homosexuality in the entertainment world. haish, really no logic

This book was incredibly sweet and cute in the first half, and all over the place in the second half. If I had to solely rate the latter half of the book, I’d probably give it a one star or less.

This novel was certainly a short sweet read! I must say that I really enjoyed the MC's and ML's interactions. The ending was definitely a twist. I like how the MC was able to overcome his obstacles with the ML's help. I also felt sweet in my heart in the way that ML understood the MC's and made sure that he was comfortable and would never do something that would make him nervous. I like how they depended on one another to comfort themselves. I liked how in the end,... more>> the master/servant relationship changed to lover. I know it took a bit for the ML to adjust to it, but he did, he also worked on changing his point of view, from his way of thinking. The MC completing that drama was like wow, a big step for him and I was so proud of him for taking such a step considering his disorder. The best thing that could have happened to him was meeting the ML. Of course there was so many questions to be answered that maybe could have been expanded on, as to how

Short novel about a super sweet couple that has you falling in love with them by chapter 2. This is a great read if you're looking for a quick read (only 21 chapters), no smut, and happy ending.

The MC who has severe social anxiety is transmigrated from modern China to ancient China where he ends up as a neglected seventh prince (which is perfect for his social anxiety!). The ML is his ninja-like personal bodyguard. Their interactions are truly precious!

You will be bawling your eyes out for them halfway through the novel. But they end up transmigrating back to modern-day China where they encounter the history of their past selves.

Its a very short story so if you're hesitating, don't. Just read it!

Everyone said the ending is abrupt but I thought it was pretty funny with the author's note.

But its true that this story had a great plot background that could become a great long story but the author already said it was supposed to be a short one. There's sweetness, there's love, some excitement and some character growth. Everything to love :)

It was really Good Novel! I found it Wonderful and Enjoyable!

It was mostly Slice of Life with little Conflict. The Drama was mostly only on MC's Emotional state.

It was really Short. Sure the ending is kinda Open Ending more certain Plot if the story longer. But for the Relationship between MC and ML, the ending is a normal Sweet Tender Happily Ever After.

... more>> In a way, the story has unexpected plot. The story wasn't anything spectacular, but it wasn't plain either.

It was Soft and Fluff between MC and ML and I Love it!

Rating: 4.5/5- Such a beautiful and heartwarming romance.

This story is excellent if you want to get your mind off things and submerge yourself in pure and wholesome love. It’s not incredibly detailed or plot heavy, think very linear and simple storytelling.

The relationship between ML and MC is so wonderful and sweet. This story made me feel all warm and cosy inside. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a sweet and soothing read without any drama or drawn out plot points.

Just note that it is a short story and therefore many... more>> things aren’t excessively elaborated and instead left for you to assume. Which isn’t necessarily a bad thing with regards to this book. The ending is a little out there... it was quite unnecessary, but let the author do what they want... and just read it to keep your daily word count going. <<less

Personally I would have given it a 4.5 /5 but looking at the rate I have to help raise. This is a peaceful and wonderful book to read to everyone that enjoys any genres. Not much can be said about this story because it's so short amidst the mighty plot. The characters are lovable especially the ML on how much he actually love the MC.

As a whole, I will have like it more if the story is a lot longer. And I mean a lot lot longer. This is an... more>> interesting plot that can be expanded up to more than 100 chapters. There are just way too many things that were just left to be without explanation.

The relationship between the MC and his brother can totally be written more and also the prince that chase them in the past also the whole thing about the ML being a royalty.

This is a very fluffy novel about a couple experiencing transmigration together. The first half of the novel is in an ancient setting, while the latter half is in the modern world.

I appreciate how MC and ML developed together as they worked to improve MC's crippling social anxiety. It was pretty nice to see that MC was willing to step out of his comfort zone instead of remaining closed off, and it was nice to see that ML didn't enable his co-dependency.

So cuteeeeee~

Its been a long time since I've actually read a short story so I got surprised when they started showing chemistry so soon but it was nice. The relationship between the MC and ML is so cute and fluffy but their was still a heart-wrenching moment as well.

Well, in the end everything worked out okay so its all good.

Quick read. Mostly fluff... awkward MC x Doting OP ML.

It felt short and it did end abruptly. The author could have done more with the characters and added kore plot but chose not to. I wish we got to see more of MC's family and the ML's back story. But over all, it was an okay read and the translations werent bad.
