It will probably be explained in the future with good reasoning and solid logic. Yet, I hate reading things where someone screws around with others memories (sealing, brainwashing, tinkering etc etc) without their permission. After the 2nd world where they reinforced the seal on his memory and said he'd be angry... yeah hated that. The 5th world with the Holy Son p*ssed me off so badly I skipped most of it after the first bath tub scene. Where Bai lives on the Black street (worst place ever, where ppl have to be constantly on guard). Theres a holy church with nobles and have these unimaginable powers that commoners can't comprehend. Anyhow, our ML Holy Son turns up seemingly dying laying in Bais way home. Bais scared and tense and doesn't want to stick around and leaves but his heartbeat speeds up and Yada ya, he thinks the man cast a spell on him. Then next day ML shows up to make him his attendant. Bai thinks it's for revenge, and he's on guard. ML explains it's not a spell, Bai doesn't believe it so what does the ML do? Takes him to the bath, teases him then jack's him off all the while Bai is feeling angry and confused. I feel so bad for Bai here. He has no idea that his memories are sealed and his love for ML can't be helped. Not to mention the times the ML said that before sealing Bais memories that he could have or lose Bai but he didn't think it'd affect him greatly or the fact that he said he just wants Bai to be unable to leave from running around the palm of his hand. I read a review that said they felt bad for ML bc it felt like Bai was slowly losing his love for him across all these worlds. In my opinion that sounds like great news to me. If ML can't trust Bai to stay faithful, can't trust him to be strong and can't trust him with his memories then he should've let go long ago.

OP Bai duan in the last arc is so cool hihihi

1. Brother x Step brother (?) - it was a good start for the novel, Bai duan was so cute, and Guan wu was the typical OP brother here. I liked their interactions when they were kids hehehe. ML is so smart in going away to leave the impression of son to bai duan's mother and father. I liked him waiting till bai duan matured and the simple acts he did when they were young. I liked Bai duan working hard and looking for his brother hehehe. I really liked it.
2. Entertainment industry boss (?) x blackened artist - lol, I LOVED bai duan here, so refreshing from the previous arc, his fallen in love at first sight in the magazine hehehe and when he got eaten when they met at the hotel where he planned to just get to know our ML LOLL, love love them here. oh also the worried family of bai duan cause he is emotionless and them being grateful to our ML who makes bai duan happy heheheh
3. Military idk Creator of weapons? x military man lol - sigh I also loved this, how bai duan was poor here and how skillful he was here, and how he wasn't immediately drawn to GW, I loved his growth and I also liked our ML here of course, so OP hehehe love it cause not the typical military advisor and general
4. Handsome beginner gamer x Top fat gamer - I LOVED THIIS, I can't even, I just liked every arc u know. Fat GW and BD falling in love with him still?? it's *chef's kiss*, I loved the face slapping in here lol, I love BD proactiveness here, and being good with words cause they communicated more online hehehe. love thiss
5. Poor simple young man x son of holy light or smthg - i- this was also so unique, not the typical demon x holy smthng pairing, sighhh, lol I remembered that GW was a bit of a bully here and this arc was 🥵, the holy robe? the bathing hehehhe BD was so cute here, it was a hate and love relationship here heehhe but hate is just a pretext lol
6. Talented Beta x pretending to be an omega beta - UGH I just can't! when I remember every arc, they are all so interesting and not at all repetitive!! Beta x beta??? bch?? and love rivals??? and the seme is the cuter one??? loll, I GW was spoiled here and I know that he misses being a cute little thing to experience BD wholehearted care hahahaha I loved how BD was also not a simple beta here and got connection to the 'dark side' and got to help his GW. I loved that they are not always so sticky with each other and Bai duan got some other 'relationship' with others here. LOL, the enemy is so bullied here, poor alpha hahahah I love how the parents are just supportive cause they can no longer do anything anw hahahhaa love BD being praised here hehehe and GW soldiers (?) have mistaken the situation loll

GW going back even after getting caught to be dead cause he didn't want BD's sad expression? Voice actors?? I love this, omg GW was so h**ny here, he got to use only his spirit to eat his fill hehehhe so hot!! OP BD is always in demand hehehee
8. Plant ability holder with many pets x Spiritual ability holder - !!!!!!! So out of the box, bch really made the animals OP here heheheh, lol with the fact that the readers thought our ML was the monkey HAHAHAH I mean, , , I was so close to believing that too HAHAHAHA love the animals and their peaceful life here loll, BD literally got what he wanted in this arc heheheh, I loved this!
9. Smart Imperial counselor's son x Pretending to be a princess son of the emperor -................ I mean, , crossdressing ML?? I was reluctant to read this but lol with what happened after he ate BD and got hated by him, lol, even I could feel his regret of not telling BD the truth HAHAHAH the mistress of the emperor was so hardcore pyscho, they did the mission here seriously and with even more bonus with helping emperor, lol with the promising to travel with BD but had to be the emperor cause the emperor was making him do all the work anw hhahahahah so cool. BD got to cross dress here too, I mean, ancient people get some ideas?? u all are so powerful, this is easy to do lol but the mental power (?) helped here obv
10. Mink x Eagle - I- where can u even FIND a mink MC? seriously? at first I was reluctant to read that BD was a mink when GW first saw him??? but I got to understand a bit more here and lolll, I feel bad for the mink tribe for constantly feeling fear hahahaa the fruit zhu rongguo? hahahahhah too much, lol, it even gave BD a shadow in the next arc HAHAHAH it was also different here with an arrival of transmigator. this was unique cause of their characters but didn't like much cause of additional seems to be unnecessary events, but I still liked it very much cause I got to imagine mink BD heheheh so cute!!
11. Spiritual beast mink x heavenly root owner that became mortal - awww hu xiaoo, he was the one who really saw BD's changee heheheh, I also liked how GW was so honest to him and even lost to him in terms of skills and respect of BD HAHAHAH I also loved him being a light bulb and the GW being able to help him ascend heheheh it was fun to watch 'Bai Jin' get jealous of 'Bai Duan'!!!! HAHAHAH so cute!!, and when GW called him Bai Duan, even I felt sad for him but also funny hahahahha GW had no idea what happened lol. loved the face slapping here, loved learning more abt previous BD heehehe

    GRAY SPACE - I love how BD didn't just accept GW immediately and dared to go alone hehehe

12. Vampire x Influential Human - OP Bai Duan ftw!! pity that GW didn't see the wounded BD and got to feel hurt hehehehe (schadenfreude *cough*) but I guess the punishment of not getting any meat for decades was enough LOLL, BD be so resolute here hahhaha arc was interesting but not so much compared to the others, but it was good cause GW was the one who lost their memory and BD knows the truth ehehhee reverse card for u GW.

no story about how the MC and ML meet. It was very subtle, at least for me? Like, we knew that they meet in the first world where Bai Duan is an intruder and he is there to help his Master? Which world was it? What happened in the first world? There he meet Guan Wu who are doing his tasks and after awhile was picked up by Guan Wu to be a pet, but they ended up fall in love? Then, in that world GW died first and followed by BD who chose to die? So, after that does GW picked up BD's soul to the grey space? And somehow making dao contract with him? Then they went to BD's original world to honeymoon? It wasn't very clear and I was hoping that there will be an extra telling about this plot point.

ML started this reincarnation/transmigration cycle without mc's consent for a certain reason and was worried about how MC would treat him after finding out. After they got back to their original bodies and MC recovered all of his memories, the way the conflict was resolved was perfect.

I'm at chapter 60, so far the ML has a system and is doing counter attack transmigration. It's been hinted that the ML met the MC first in one of his transmigration world, he was from an ancient cultivation world where the MC was a mink spirit. The ML seems to be taking the MC thru the worlds to help him get energy with a goal they purposely locked the MC's memories for some reason, but their goal is that he will regain them later one. This is my speculation from all the author hints.

The final arc gives the MC and ML a chance to reverse their roles (not reversible sexy times, 1 gong 1 shou no swap) as visitors to this world. This gives them a chance to experience where the other is coming from and resolves the last bit of communication struggles that might stand between them. So finally happy and peaceful ending.

I just love how the ML can reassure that whether the MC is a sweet and innocent baby or a big BOSS he will love him but how he will love him is just different just like clears so much of their tangled feelings. It's great.
