The cousin that Jing Huan has been closest to since he was a child was labelled as “the other woman” in a certain popular online game: only after devoting herself did she know that the other party was a jerk with a girlfriend.

After several days of being bullied online by people in the game, his cousin went abroad in a fit of anger and sorrow.

Jing Huan couldn’t take this lying down; he decided to take revenge for his cousin using the same method as that guy – buy a character in game and kill that slag guy thousands of times online.

With his strength and skill as the Great God when the game was first launched, wouldn’t he be able to kill that guy and force him to quit the server in minutes?!

He went online, eager to fight, but made a discovery after conducting a round of investigations — this slag guy was the number one DPS server-wide, number one on the expert ranking list, number one on the wealth ranking list, number one on the popularity ranking list, and number one on the fame ranking list.

Conclusion: Can’t screw him over.

Jing Huan felt despondent. He was just about to give up when he personally witnessed his dormmate’s online relationship end right after meeting each other in real life. The other party had sent fake photos and changed their voice, and had even cheated him of his money, triggering his dormmate so much that he was almost admitted to a hospital.

Jing Huan felt enlightened as a sudden realisation dawned on him. After comforting his roommate, he moved the high-priced voice changer back to his rented house overnight.

Oh my I had so much fun reading this. Those embarrassing moments were hilarious and the angst wasn't much so you're looking for something light, this is for you.

I have read all 3 book e sport game by the author. Even if im im not a gamer, I could still understand a little bit of the process. Really2 fall in love with her novel. There just sooooo gooooood!! Even the spicy part is so delicious, kept me wanting more 😂😂

I remember it was one of the first few novels that I read. It was so hilarious. Sometimes I would feel embarrassed because of MC. He is too funny and ML is soo sooooo dreamy. It's a fluffy novel. Need to read it if you are in to cute and funny stories.

Honestly just really cute and wholesome. And they're both really into each other. It's just one of those fics where everything goes kinda nicely and the pacing was good for having them fall in love, not rushed like it sometimes is.

super cute... tag is rated yaoi but nothing is explicit if you're worried about that. none of the scenes go beyond 300 words, and it's really easy to just skip over them.

all in all, there are only 3 chapters of angst in this whole thing. most of it is buildup and buttercups and bubblegum in terms of working themselves up to a proper relationship. if you're not a fan of slow burn, it is pretty slow burn and very slice of life--the MC doesn't figure out the identity of his... more>> in-game husband until chapter 79. I think the in-game husband figures it out around 35-45 or somewhere around there, so it's earlier but not too much.

there's another review mentioning a lot of filler and yeah there's a lot of stuff that could be cut out but I think it adds to the characters themselves and offers more cushioning for both their relationship and the world that the author has chosen to create (the filler chapters are sort of before the big confession I think at c79).

A complete legend. This is such a funny story with the perfect amount of angst, jealousy, gaming points and amazing characters. If there's any of you who are slightly hesitant about reading it because of the voice-changer, don't worry that's the charming point of this novel.

The side characters are also really fun to read and add lots of elements to the novel making it complete and enjoyable to read. I wasn't really fond of gaming novels at first because I do not play games so I don't understand a lot... more>> of parts in gaming novels or dramas. But here the usage of words and the explanation given makes it so easy to read and not confusing at all.

Overall, I recommend you to read this and experience the fun and excitement of seeing these two clumsy but cute main characters. <<less

Its pretty funny

I would have gave 5 stars if not for dragging the story... I skipped almost 16 or 17 chapters. There is a number of filler chapters rest are pretty good.

The plot of this novel is sometimes an exact copy of other bl e-sport gems like "The Antelope and Night wolf", and "Waiting for you online". Its like I am re-reading those novels. Other than that, the writing and translation is good with cute/funny moments.

Very sweet story, the MC is very honest with his feelings he didn’t deny them but acted upon his feeling and confessed

the ML is very mature, loving person not extremely possessive and completely normal which is nice

enjoyed reading this novel, it’s a heartwarming one without too much drama

T_T Can't believe it was finished. I needed to get over the depression and spend some time with some novels before writing this review. I think its been months. Yes, that's how long my love is for this novel. One of the best of the best. This is also the first bl novel that I have finished after transmigrating from mangas and I'm so glad that it is.

A really nice story that makes me cracks up laughing or fell down in second hand embarrassment as I witnessed our MC digs countless holes for him to jump. A fluffy, lighthearted story based on our MC's misunderstanding.

The game setting inside and the side characters in the game is really funny and added a touch of humour inside. Totally recommended.

By far my most fav story of gaming. I haven't read much of this genre but I'm still giving it a 5 based on story and translation. The story is still like most of the other gaming stories, OP ML famous in the gaming world. The difference and what makes it more interesting than others is the lil misunderstanding and comedy. I love this story! I love everything about it, how they fell and pursue each other. I also love the gaming aspects of the story. The whole thing is realistic and logical I just can't find any fault (well except for the lack of nutrients ;-; deim crabs).

This novel is pure gold. It is a very funny story, the MC and ML are both hilarious in their own ways, intelligent and very well built (same for the side characters). There is lots of game terms but the translators have done perfect little notes for anybody not used to Chinese/Game slang.

The story itself is quite simple, there isn't too much angst, just fluff and comedy. I totally recommend this story if you are in need of a novel without too much drama and just want to laugh.

This story was sooo cute! I loved how MC was so shameless in pursuing the ML in the game lmao. There were so many face-palm moments which gave me second-hand embarrassment but it was worth it. I love their interactions with each other and with their friends and ML is super nice to MC. There's a lot of dog food and fluff in this story. Translation quality is very good so there were no interruptions with the flow of the story :) It's very engaging and also by the same... more>> author who wrote PUBG Online Romance of the Century so there is some slight mention of the couple from there which I loved since I'm reading PUBG right now as well. I would definitely recommend this if you liked PUBG or sweet gaming romance novels. <<less

Definitely a great read, there was a lot of seamlessly incorporated humour, which made the novel a light and feel-good read... I would categorise this with "Reborn as My Love Rival’s Wife" which is, in my opinion, one of the best balanced light reads, without becoming too frivolous and mocking the readers' intelligence (which often seems to happen with light novels).

The MC and ML are both pretty cool characters, and their friends and family were also all likeable. If you're looking for something to... more>> lift your mood, go ahead and read this. There is little serious drama (as in, real life drama, between the leads... there is a lot of in-game gossiping, though), just a pleasant rom-com feel. <<less
