Short, rich, and handsome, Lin Feiran was always the center of attention. But after transferring schools in his second year of high school, he discovered that his limelight was snatched by his Adonis classmate, Gu Kaifeng.

Lin Feiran was very resentful, and he and Gu Kaifeng became archnemesis (one-sidedly). Although the two lived together, they were like strangers.

When Lin Feiran went back home to attend his grandfather’s funeral, he accidentally inherited the Yin-Yang eyes that had been passed down from generation to generation. After gaining the ability to see ghosts, the timid Lin Feiran discovered that his two-person dormitory was actually a sixteen-person (ghost) room. Every day, he was scared to the point of collapsing.

The more aggravating thing is that because of Gu Kaifeng’s innate body constitution, he possessed an abundant amount of Yang energy. Lin Feiran found out that whenever he touched Gu Kaifeng, Gu Kaifeng’s Yang energy could temporarily disable his Yin-Yang eyes. A light touch would disable it for five minutes, a kiss for an hour, and so on…

Lin Feiran had no choice but to throw himself into his archnemesis’s embrace. This complete reversal in attitude to being intimate with Gu Kaifeng persisted every day from morning till night.

When sleeping, he must squeeze in the same bed as Gu Kaifeng. Going to the toilet? He must drag Gu Kaifeng with him. Homework? It must be done hand-in-hand with Gu Kaifeng… He also had to try his best to persuade the teacher to make him Gu Kaifeng’s deskmate. Every day in class, he would rub Gu Kaifeng’s calf with his foot beneath the desks…

Following the clingy little bastard’s sudden change in personality, the initially shocked Gu Kaifeng gradually became smitten. Every day he would chase Lin Feiran to flirt with him, make crazy confessions, and even routinely push him against the wall and kiss him…

Gu Kaifeng: “Don’t you like me? I like you, so let’s be together.”

Oh my. So many dog foods you will get when you read this. The main CP and side CP are so cute. Reading all their banter and flirting are enough to get you some cavities. But, I could not truly invest with the romance development. It's not badly written. It's just that I used to find this type of character's relationship in other works. If only the characters has interesting traits, I would adore and praises the CP more.

The main CP is definitely in the radar if you are into lovey dovey couple. They trust the others a lot you will not be able to find any cracks in their relationship. It's perfect without any arguments (if you dismiss the banters about s*x 😅). But as individuals, they are pretty much averange. Cute and adorable MC. Handsome, rich, and pervented ML. For the side CP, since the beginning I kinda guess they will be a couple. But the writer failed to flesh them out. There are some parts that I think that their interaction, their chemistry and the devotion are all the same as main CP.

What I love the most :

is definitely the ghost arch. Every ghost that needs their help has many memorable stories. From the loving little daughter, a devoted schoold principal, the monk, the customes' spirit and the tragic couple. All of them never failed to make my eyes water. They all have regrets and it's painful to see how much it leaves them hanging in this world. It will make you admire these ghosts and I'm glad to see that many of them manages find solace in different ways. If the writer decides to write the ghosts' short stories, I will definitely read them.

4.7 for me. I really like the way this story ended.

I am not a big fan of modern world novel (i came here just because of cover pic) but this one was good.... probably because of supernatural plot... Lol.

This story has good combination of Fluff and humour...... with lots of Dog food and second hand embarrassing moment and different short story about ghost. Each and every story were so beautiful and tragic but with good ending.

Love the MC and ML chemistry and interaction and all those dog food........... more>> Seriously I couldn't stop smiling everytime I see their interaction. It's so sweet

Love the ML. I especially loves how he take care of MC so well. He's totally spoiling him. He's the kind of boyfriend everyone would love to have.

I can't believe he even washed MC underware for him.... also they didn't had s*x until they graduated like seriously for 2 years (almost), he waited for him, plus he's ready to be bottom if MC wanted....... wow he's such a great man *applause for him

Lastly, I love how this author never drag the stories and end it pretty nice but sometimes it's kind of sad as the stories have potential to be even better.

I was kind of disappointed when the extra story didn't contain their past life story. I really wanted to know what happened in their past life. I would have given this Full 5, if they had given us their past life stories as it would have great impact on their present life making their moments more beautiful and emotional.

Rating: 5/5- Aaaah this was so hilarious and sweet. Partying ghosts and sticky characters are so loveable!

I loved both characters as well as the side couple. The extras regarding the pianist were my absolute favorite.

Overall, this is a must read that will warm your heart and make you smile.

Sticky MCs are my new favorite MCs!

One of the reason why I finally read this Novel was because someone put this as their favorite Good Face Slapping Novel. But I'm going to say that's there's No Face Slapping AT ALL in this Novel!!!

But this Novel is Very Satisfying!!! The satisfaction is related to all the Ghosts the MC encounter!

It was also Great between the ML and MC! It wasn't perfect at first, but the summary of this novel did the great job to explain that, yes, the ML did misunderstood MC's clingy behavior!

And even though ML... more>> make moves because of this behavior, please don't get worried!

Sure there's DubCon Kiss and mention of wanting to do things. BUT the ML ALWAYS Stop when he can clearly see MC not ready! Sure there's hand caressing, but nothing lead to s*xual moment. When they chose to finally go sexual, is when MC finally confess his feeling! Then haven't even done the very final step until they finished high school!!!!

I love Lin Feiran who is arrogant, mega-shy and embarrassed but ends up getting completely depraved because of Gu Kaifeng. And Gu Kaifeng who is protective, perverse and possessive, who has been in love with Lin Feiran since the first time he saw him, and who is completely off the mark and who thinks that Lin Feiran is in love with him when he just wants to absorb his Yang energy (well, for that, we can understand the mistake). 😍😅😂

It's a really cute novel but you might get bored if you are looking for action and a hectic story, because there is absolutely no plot. 😅
I wasn't looking to have a big plot but I would have liked a minimum of action whether it was with ghosts or that there are people who oppose their relationship (there is just the former director of the school which is against because it distracts them from their studies and the ancestors of the Gu family, but for them, we see them very very little so in the end I find that it did not take enough importance in the story, it deserves to have a more important place in the story) or who flirt with one of the two. 😑

In this regard, I have not always found that very credible. Gu Kaifeng is super popular BUT no one ever comes to confess or flirt with him. At the beginning of the story, there is a girl who is interested in him but absolutely not seriously and as soon as she sees that Gu Kaifeng is in love with Lin Feiran (so after two seconds), she gives up all hope. And move on. 😑🤨

And then, I find it a shame that Gu Kaifeng does not meet Lin Feiran's grandparents, while we talk about the grandfather throughout the story and that it is thanks to him that in the end they are close together. He knows however that the ghost is in his house in the country, but never asks to meet him, it's strange. Personally, I will have asked to meet him and will have thank him for all this (and then to introduce myself of course). 🤔🤨😑

I will also have that there is more interaction with their family, that we see them more because for the few times we see them, we see them thirty seconds and after they leave. At the end of the story, all we know about their family is that their parents work a lot and are hardly ever at home, that Lin Feiran's parents are more strict (especially money, that's also partly why Lin Feiran envies him so much) than those of Gu Kaifeng, that in the end Gu Kaifeng thinks that his parents understood that they are in a relationship and that since their mothers have become friends, no doubt Lin Feiran's parents also know about it. And that's all. 😑

So, I highly recommend it if you are looking for a cute, tender and sweet novel, but if you are looking for a plot go your way. 🥰😅😂

Sweet and sticky cake story with an original hook that was actually really well executed by author. So much fluff, but sadly, not smutty. Not angsty either. Really lovable story and cp. Highly recommend.

This story is such a feel good storyyy hngg 💖 (❁´◡`❁). I was literally smiling the whole time that I was reading this. Also, this is the first novel that I've read which is really focused on the BL part than the other category like supernatural. I didn't expect that Gu kaifeng's attitude would be like thaaat, I really liked him. I thought he would be cold and all that, but he was really sweet and yes he is the perfect boyfriend. Lin Feiran, I can feel secondhand embarrassment cause of him HAHAHAH specially the one when he brought the worn clothes of GKF in his bed HAHAHAH idk how GKF can restrain himself. I'm glad the misunderstanding wasn't made into such a big deal. This is really just a feel good storyyy.

There weren't even bad ghosts and I'm really contented with that. I've only read this for 2 days but it really warmed my heart. 🥰🥰🥰 The supernatural part was also cutely done, , idk I feel like everything in this novel was so cute, beautiful, fresh, innocent, , probably cause that's how the MC is.. Oh and I also really like school settings, and this makes me jealous and would really want to live in a dorm with my s/o hahahhaha and of course have that much money pls, , This is like a novel that contains my guilty pleasure.. I also like how Ranran is honest with what he wants hahahha It's like he's a tsundere but knows when to be like that hahahhah still, GKF best boy. I really like how feelings and thoughts of GKF were also said cause it made this novel even more cuter, the fact that even when they were being naughty I was just smiling and thinking how cute their interactions are 💞 So wholesome. I also liked that there was a yin sharing, that was such a big comfort, cause if it wasn't there, this novel would be too sad, so I'm really glad for that.

I thought this book was charming. The misunderstanding in the beginning was hilarious, and was smoothly resolved later. I like how the author doesn't drag out the book too much. She ends it clearly, and adds a couple of side stories to slowly ease the reader off the story.

I really enjoyed their adventures helping ghosts fulfill their wishes - it almost felt like a bunch of mini stories inside this one story. I would have loved to learn more about their past lives, but I guess the author wanted to... more>> leave us guessing.

Overall, I think this was a sugary, warm story. It gently teaches appreciation for family heritage (though not at the cost of your own happiness), why people shouldn't let prejudices prevent them from befriending someone, and not to judge a ghost by their appearance. <<less

It's so funny how the MC unknowningly dug a hole for himself since he is clueless about regular people's life and finances. MC was a really good person and generally cared about the other roommate. He clearly wanted to have a clean slate and make new friends and hopefully thrive in a new environment so his family won't worry about him. The ML was shameless since he though MC liked him🤣🤣🤣 and was so embarrassed when he found out MC development feelings later on. Overall cute and fluffy with some... more>> drama and mystery mixed in. The ending was alright, they just did a big ol time skip.

Ghosts & an enemies (one-sided) to lovers plot? SIGN ME UP.

MC is unabashedly narcissistic & rich. Oh & he has a grudge against the school hottie who stole his limelight. This one-sided rivalry spurs tension & negative feelings between the two, that is until MC inherits his family's Yin-Yang eyes. Now the cutie can't stop seeing ghosts unless he makes contact with none other than the dude he consider his rival.

Ngl but the ghost part threw me off & almost made me sweep aside this hilarious read. I'm not fond... more>> of ghosts in modern-set stories, but it was incorporated incredibly well in this story. The absurdity of the misunderstandings unknowingly caused by the MC & wholeheartedly swallowed by the ML gave me so much serotonin. It is definitely up your alley if you enjoy fluffy stories with a ton of laughs. <<less

I recommend this soo hard!

I don't usually write review but this one is soo amazing! Story is amazing, characters are very loveable. Gu Kaifeng is best most top notch gong, ever. The encounter with ghosts is very interesting. Also reading their relationship unfold so purely is super heartworming.

Making out scenes are real treat, Gu Kaifeng has aptitude to be naughty anytime anywhere haha!

I love the entire novel, but even extra are just as good.

Its a fun story to read. Its really a warm and soft kind of story.

How MC supernatural eyes leads incidents which causes ML to have a misconception which in turns leads to lovely love story of them.

Had enjoyed it alot. It was fun, entertaining and funny. Its one of the must read book.

Came here for the fluff but ended up crying a lot lol. I enjoyed binge reading it and probably read it again after a few months.

The characters are interesting and their interactions made be blush hard. I expected the story to be scary so I was worried at the start, but didn't know I'll laugh myself to death because of the ghosts. Overall, an enjoyable read and worth the sleep deprivation!

Also, not mentioning this is a sin, the translations are really great!

One of the best (almost) completely translated fluff novels. The plot is exactly what it says. There are no main antagonists and very little conflict.

Pros: A plot exists! Main CP fluff is most of the story but the Yin-Yang eye plot is not ignored or forgotten for it. Good side CP with a side story. Ghost side plots.

Cons: How haunting it is knowing that the author has been jailed for writing danmei. A few plot threads forgotten in favor of fluff. Possibly a few CW below, depending on the reader.

-mention of prior violence to & current slight gore in appearance of some ghosts

this is my first chinese bl novel and i’m really glad for opting to read this story! Ranran and kaifeng’s dynamic is so perfect that I kept on rereading the chapters. I love the MC as much as I love the ml! They fit each other so well, I can't even find proper words to describe their relationship and how it progressed.

LIN FEIRAN IS TOO CUTE WHILE GU KAIFENG IS TOO PERVERTED!

i kinda wish their story spanned until they're adults though. There’s no such thing as too much dog food... more>> in their relationship (i will always need more!) i’m finding it hard to try other novels because nothing can top this one ugh. This will always be my all-time fave novel. So perfect - it made me laugh, cry, and curse at myself for still being single. Thank you dear author for gracing us this gem. <<less

Our MC here is the perfect uke (from my POV) which is not very entertaining for me. ML here fell for him from the start so there was only fluff ahead of the story. Ain't cup of my tea.

I personally like FAKE SLACKERS more than any other slice of life bl novels.

I really like the premise of this story. The plot is barely there, though and it is mostly filler chapter full of fluff and adorableness and that's fine. The fluff is the charm point, so to say. Another thing that I enjoyed was also character dynamics. Interactions between MC and ML were also gold and this author definitely scored with that. Not gonna lie, I totally giggled my way out of this book.

One of my favorite lines is definitely, "He wanted to cultivate in the Sects of Mathematics"

Add this to the list of feel-good fluff. The premise of this novel is relatively straightforward: MC dislikes his closeted gay roommate because the other is more exceptional than him. However, after inheriting Yin Yang eyes, is forced to have close contact with ML in order to prevent himself from seeing ghosts. There's not much plot involved, but this is a pretty short series to begin with so it's understandable.

The build-up of their romance is relatively smooth and there's no real rejection from either side. Both MC and ML tacitly... more>> enter a relationship and there's no angst involved. Overall, a pretty solid read if you're looking for uncomplicated school life and fluff. <<less

This is really sweet! It's definitely 5/5 stars. The translation is amazing, the plot is hilarious, and the characters are adorable. There are 33 extras (still going on with the same plot but called extras for some reason) and they're just as cute as the main chapters. When the ML finally realizes that the MC really doesn't like him and wasn't playing hard to get is honestly one of my favorite parts. The ML actually looks back on his actions and reflects (for maybe 10 minutes) unlike so many other... more>> MLs who just brush it off as a misunderstanding. <<less

The story is pretty good, full of sweetness and romance. I wished the description for the s*x scenes are nore vivid, lol. My only problem with it was I feel like the main ending was not properly placed.

It's better if after the sharing yin ritual is the new year chapter where the parents meet each other and have as ending. The monk part just makes the main ending weird and out of place. It's almost like at that monk part, the novel doesn't follow any plot and I was kind of lost.
