Short, rich, and handsome, Lin Feiran was always the center of attention. But after transferring schools in his second year of high school, he discovered that his limelight was snatched by his Adonis classmate, Gu Kaifeng.

Lin Feiran was very resentful, and he and Gu Kaifeng became archnemesis (one-sidedly). Although the two lived together, they were like strangers.

When Lin Feiran went back home to attend his grandfather’s funeral, he accidentally inherited the Yin-Yang eyes that had been passed down from generation to generation. After gaining the ability to see ghosts, the timid Lin Feiran discovered that his two-person dormitory was actually a sixteen-person (ghost) room. Every day, he was scared to the point of collapsing.

The more aggravating thing is that because of Gu Kaifeng’s innate body constitution, he possessed an abundant amount of Yang energy. Lin Feiran found out that whenever he touched Gu Kaifeng, Gu Kaifeng’s Yang energy could temporarily disable his Yin-Yang eyes. A light touch would disable it for five minutes, a kiss for an hour, and so on…

Lin Feiran had no choice but to throw himself into his archnemesis’s embrace. This complete reversal in attitude to being intimate with Gu Kaifeng persisted every day from morning till night.

When sleeping, he must squeeze in the same bed as Gu Kaifeng. Going to the toilet? He must drag Gu Kaifeng with him. Homework? It must be done hand-in-hand with Gu Kaifeng… He also had to try his best to persuade the teacher to make him Gu Kaifeng’s deskmate. Every day in class, he would rub Gu Kaifeng’s calf with his foot beneath the desks…

Following the clingy little bastard’s sudden change in personality, the initially shocked Gu Kaifeng gradually became smitten. Every day he would chase Lin Feiran to flirt with him, make crazy confessions, and even routinely push him against the wall and kiss him…

Gu Kaifeng: “Don’t you like me? I like you, so let’s be together.”

Lin Feiran: “I don’t like you! Don’t come over!”

Gu Kaifeng: “……”

Five minutes later, to avoid seeing ghosts, Lin Feiran sneakily came to touch Gu Kaifeng.

Gu Kaifeng turned around, stopping his hand: “After you just rejected me, you come back to flirt with me!?”

Lin Feiran: “Who’s flirting with you! I was careless and touched you; don’t imagine that I like you back.”

Oh, that’s it.

So much fluff, you will choke and die from diabetes. The MC and ML are so freaking adorable, there are some misunderstandings at the start but none of it is frustrating or annoying to read. I would 10/10 recommend this story to anyone, it’s just a lovely and easygoing book.

The first half of this novel was quite good. Interesting premise which was well developed. The interactions between the MC and ML were funny and very entertaining. The tension and spice level was good.

Then once they finally get together it was less interesting, which is quite sad. The author was not able to make their relationship all that endearing or the supernatural going-on all that engaging. So I just finished the main story and have not gone back for the extras, I don't think I ever will.

It was quite entertaining at first. But the second half got boring same like any other danmei novel. After they got together I don't feel like reading it again. I just like the up and down from before the couple got together.

If u looking for fluff. This is the novel for you.

The story is so cute.

I didn't finish it tho cause.. There was actually no problems or anything lolol.

But it's a novel for lighting up the mood after reading a traumatizing yandere novel or a sad aaah novel.

A story that promised ghosts and love... I guess roughly that’s what it offers.
The book begins fun and entertaining, presenting our protagonists, typical story "enemies to lovers" where, as in most, they were never enemies (_). But, in short, this story was supposed to be about ghosts and ghosts there, now, are they relevant?
Our main protagonist inherits Ying-Yang eyes from his grandfather, and with them the ability to see the dead, which does not make him anything happy so he literally clings to the only thing that makes them disappear, his roommate.
The ghosts and the supernatural plot in fact are just a pretest for the characters to spend it glued and one on top of the other by more than 60 chapters, in which, the ghosts are secondary or neither appear. And the supporting characters, they’re a backfill like a deco.
If you don’t have any reading to hand that deserves even a little of your attention, I guess you could read this one, although, without lying, my stamina was not enough to finish the more than 20n extras that this story has.

This novel is really just too cute!! The premise itself is hilarious, and both the main characters are very likable. Their relationship development is very natural and the dramatic irony of it all was really too good. As in the novel summary, our MC is "blessed" with the ability to see ghosts, and his only remedy is the ML, primarily through physical contact, which, of course sets off the most amusing of misunderstandings.

ML is so doting and patient with MC, and it was too sweet the way that he just... more>> smiled every time MC was acting sticky with him. He really does have just the best personality, and I liked that he wasn't your typical ML school tyrant or study god, and that he wasn't overly stoic or cold! He's actually very approachable, and his grades are good, but nothing crazy. He jokes around a lot and he doesn't take things too seriously. It's a nice change of pace to have a more normal high school student as a main character! To be fair, he's still rich and attractive, but let's not get too picky here.

MC is a bit of a tsundere, but he does get less so over time, especially after he opens up to ML. I really did enjoy his character, with his random competitiveness and love for praise, which ML definitely heaps onto him. They make a perfect pair as ML tends to be a bit shameless and MC will bring him back down to earth. All of their interactions honestly read like a comedy sketch lol

Overall this is a very lighthearted and highly entertaining high school romance! Tons of flirting and copious amounts of dog food, and a few emotional moments but nothing concerning our main pair. They really have the most smooth sailing relationship for something originally built on a misunderstanding, and once they do get together it's so sweet how they interact! It's a short novel, and a good time throughout. Definitely recommend! <<less

this is a cute, no conflict, feel good story. There are some unexplained part of this story that the author just leave it there without going in depth but it doesn’t really disrupt the whole reading experience. Overall, its a cute quick read

Im not gonna rate this one yet as I only read the first chapters but boy I want to drop it. I am in Chapter 2.

The story apparently is good as seen from all of the prior reviews and it seems promising but it's really hard for me to like the MC as he's vain, conceited, s*upid, etc. I know I'm being judgmental here, but it's really hard sympathizing with this type of character whose seems like a cannon fodder. I also know that this could be a character development... more>> later on but I usually don't have patience with this character. I'm still gonna read until chapter 5 to decide of this book is my cup of tea.

Wish me luck.

***Update Ch 19***

The personality of the MC was not actually that bad, I drew conclusion from the chapter 1 abrupltly as I thought that hating someone because they are more popular than you is s*upid. But as I go through the chapters, apparently the ML is kind of provoking him back so it was definitely stoked.

The story is okay so far but I kinda stop reading in this chapter not because Im dropping it but because Im just shelving it temporarily and hopefully in the future I may visit this back. Why though?

The story was not bad but its not that amazing either. Yes, it has elements of seeing ghost and the ML being the cure but it hardly gives any motivation to the story. It was even used as an excuse for these two characters to be together. It's not actually bad when you use it that way but this plot was not used in it's best ability.

The plot itself is very generic. It's predictable. We knew already what will happen in the future. It's basically the MC tried to stick with the ML and the ML falls with him, the ML confess but the MC rejects but apparently they will be together later on. The indication was there, during the time where the MC is sticking together with the ml, he's already developing feelings with the ML. Sure the plot was not unique but was still sellable in the market. The problem came with the lack of conflict of the story. There's the huge topic of seeing ghost but it was not used in another way other than being the chance for the couple to be together. There's nothing wrong with that. But the story itself focuses solely on romance and how these two people will turn out in the future. And as I said this plot is already a no-brainer and pretty predictable. What was needed are sub-plots or other conflicts or secondary plot that will give curiosity and conflict to the story. But sadly there was nothing. There was not even a problem interpersonally as both of there parents are uninvolved with there life and was loose with there parentage, for short they are not relevant for conflict. The setting also gives a little room for people to imagine. They are at school. We already know what happens in school and the scope and delimitation of a school romance setting. If it's in college or an office setting then there can be more room for imagination but sadly school romance setting has been the cliche'd story setting that has been used and explored extensively whether at books in any genres or in media. It was even on sophomore year, and in east asia, you know how these countries values studying in high school due to CEE. It's basically sticking 6 days in a week sitting at classroom or at a table studying while also juggling romance with it.

I just hope there's more struggle or drive to the story.

One of my problems with the story is a personal one. I'm not actually comfortable reading the MC trying to get sticky with a person, with that person seeing that as a signal for affection, they will in turn be in conclusion that there is a chance for you to be together. This is personal as I've experienced people acting towards me ambiguously when in fact they aren't interested with me romantically. Like they'll call me baby and send me flowers but in fact just using me so they can get something from me. It's the same with this story, I'm like the ml, thinking the MC likes me when in fact his just using me. So I can say this is really not my cup of tea of a story. It's actually an okay story and it's short. But for me they could have made it shorter as I pretty much knows what will eventually happened. <<less

Omg! It's such an amazing story. It deserves a full five star rating acc. to it's genre. Guys if u dont read it u ganna regret......

It's really an awesome story, thank god I read it, it was in my reading list for a long time.

It's such an amazing fluff, slice of life and comedic novel. I fell in love with MC and ml, they were both so cuteee.

I quite liked it's story line and how author didn't make it more complicated as to make ML and MC solve ghost... more>> cases.

Really the background of the ghosts mentioned made me cry a lot uff 🥺.... I cried thrice first for the cat then for the principal and lastly for the cute little girl.

I loved everything about it and would recommend it to everyone to read it, u will like it.

I didn't read all the extras though only the main pairing but really loved them.
And lastly thanku author and translator for ur amazing work. I really appreciate u for ur hard work 👏👏 <<less

Extremely lovely story

What made me laugh: MC being cute.

What made me love the story the most: The story of the departed

Spoiler

The little girl, the principal and the Bodhi tree made me cry.

Sad that a little girl died so early.

Sad for the principal that didn't understand why people ignored his cries of warning.

Sad for the monk and the tree.

I love this novel.

I thank CG so much introducing the story. For continuing to translate.

The amount of dog food this novel has is..... tooth rotting. The kind of book where you could enjoy after an arc of tragedy world hopping. There's little to no drama and just super fluffy.

Unlike popular opinions, I feel like this novel, though very fluffy and great, is pretty bland. From their meeting to getting together, even after they got together, nothing much happened, no drama, no suspense. It's pretty clear cut who's in love first, whether they're getting together or not in the upcoming chapter. Their adventures though, only happened in the extras, which at that point, I was kinda getting bored. Perhaps it's because I've read plenty of BL, in the horror genre, or eevn the fluffy slice of life high school... more>> romance genre, this just doesn't do that great, but I feel like they do deserve the high rating and I would introduce this to someone new to chinese danmei novels. For the ML's interactions, I did enjoy it. His perverse mischievousness contrasted with the tsundere MC, however, it's nothing new. So, I gave this a 4/5, since it doesn't really do a good job keeping me interested. Take my review with a grain of salt, this would be a good read if you have nothing else to read, or wanting to read an average length danmei novel. <<less

Idk how I feel about this. I'm not good at humiliation/misunderstanding-based humor so I skipped some stuff, but I guess MC is sorta cute. I had a lot more fun reading after they got together (around c30). ML is a sticky pe*vert who takes every opportunity to dote on MC, MC is tsundere but easily won over.

For those who feel like the main story doesn't cover the ghosts enough, the extras feel more like an episodic anime where each arc covers a new ghost. There's still a lot of dog... more>> food, but it focuses more on the main ghost for that extra. Personally, I just wanted dog food so I stopped reading after the main story was done and I'm just gonna come back and read the rest later. <<less

It started off alright. But after the two leads officially got together, the author seemed to have run out of ideas. The story felt unnecessarily dragged and dull around the last few chapters.

What do I say this is one of the most absolutely adorable bl ever.

Please dont worry and give it a go. There is no drama or angst. Just pure fluff and dog food so good that makes u squeal so loud. I just adore their relationship so much. And gu kaifeng is such a wonderful ML he has such a more realistic personality unlike so many chinese danmei that protray ML as this utmost perfect male god (I like them but sometimes its hard to find any difference between... more>> so many such mls)

And our li feiran is such an adorble boy. I love it when the shou is enthusiastic about the naughty naughty and takes the initiative.

Plus u have the most adorable side couple too.

So highly recommend <<less

Their love story was cute, fluffy and sooo romantic! The interactions between the MC and ML is too adorable and sweet. I especially like the story of the headmaster (principal) and the piano ghost guy, both made me cry. Aside from the ML and MC, the side CP story are also interesting, sweet and funny. Overall, this is a good read, nothing complicated, there's no angst. So if you're looking for something light, then this one's for you. Story 8.5/10

What can I say about this story... fluff, fluff, and more FLUFF!

The MC and ML are so ridiculously in love with one another, it's really heartwarming and sweet. I enjoyed every minute of this book, it is a great way to relax inbetween plot heavy, emotional stories.

There is little to no drama, and the sweet, caring nature of the characters in the story shines through in each chapter. There are lots of funny scenes, and definitely some awkward moments, sometimes awkward enough that even you want to cover your eyes... more>> and hide for a minute, but the MC and ML both have the perfect way of dealing with these situations... just be completely shameless and all will pass.

The romance really is the main point in my opinion, the ghosts are merely intermingled in order to help move the romance along at a quick pace. There are some gory descriptions, but I think most people can get through it without an issue. The backstory of some of the ghosts was fairly moving, at times I found myself sniffling as I read.

Spoiler

The headmaster ghost story I found particularly touching for some reason. I just kept picturing this guy bravely defending his students and his school, and his death was so horrid. I was really happy when they were able to solve his regrets, and the way they did it was particularly tear jerking.

[collapse]

I would definitly recommend this story to someone who it looking for a slightly lighter love story between two shameless, but extremely sweet boys. Take a break and indulge yourself in all the sweetness this couple has to offer!

Spoiler

Side Note: There is no NSFW in this story, lots of implications, but that's where it ends. Take it as good or bad, just figured I would share.

Wish there was a side story on the couple’s supposed past life that led to their HE here but maybe the author is reserving that for another work.
