Short, rich, and handsome, Lin Feiran was always the center of attention. But after transferring schools in his second year of high school, he discovered that his limelight was snatched by his Adonis classmate, Gu Kaifeng.

Lin Feiran was very resentful, and he and Gu Kaifeng became archnemesis (one-sidedly). Although the two lived together, they were like strangers.

When Lin Feiran went back home to attend his grandfather’s funeral, he accidentally inherited the Yin-Yang eyes that had been passed down from generation to generation. After gaining the ability to see ghosts, the timid Lin Feiran discovered that his two-person dormitory was actually a sixteen-person (ghost) room. Every day, he was scared to the point of collapsing.

The more aggravating thing is that because of Gu Kaifeng’s innate body constitution, he possessed an abundant amount of Yang energy. Lin Feiran found out that whenever he touched Gu Kaifeng, Gu Kaifeng’s Yang energy could temporarily disable his Yin-Yang eyes. A light touch would disable it for five minutes, a kiss for an hour, and so on…

Lin Feiran had no choice but to throw himself into his archnemesis’s embrace. This complete reversal in attitude to being intimate with Gu Kaifeng persisted every day from morning till night.

When sleeping, he must squeeze in the same bed as Gu Kaifeng. Going to the toilet? He must drag Gu Kaifeng with him. Homework? It must be done hand-in-hand with Gu Kaifeng… He also had to try his best to persuade the teacher to make him Gu Kaifeng’s deskmate. Every day in class, he would rub Gu Kaifeng’s calf with his foot beneath the desks…

Following the clingy little bastard’s sudden change in personality, the initially shocked Gu Kaifeng gradually became smitten. Every day he would chase Lin Feiran to flirt with him, make crazy confessions, and even routinely push him against the wall and kiss him…

Gu Kaifeng: “Don’t you like me? I like you, so let’s be together.”

Lin Feiran: “I don’t like you! Don’t come over!”

Gu Kaifeng: “……”

Five minutes later, to avoid seeing ghosts, Lin Feiran sneakily came to touch Gu Kaifeng.

Gu Kaifeng turned around, stopping his hand: “After you just rejected me, you come back to flirt with me!?”

Lin Feiran: “Who’s flirting with you! I was careless and touched you; don’t imagine that I like you back.”

Oh, that’s it.

What happened to this author is so sad QAQ, she's honestly one of my favorites... best of luck to her.

As for the novel itself, I really like it! It's full of fluff, absolutely full of it.. both the MC and ML are super endearing and make for an adorable pair. It's very happy-go-lucky, totally recommend this to anyone that doesn't mind being made to eat dog food... continuously.

(to the review complaining about the prison sentence, I feel you.)

Read this long time ago... And I seems can't get over how cute and ? this story and the ghost's descriptions are (/ω\)

Is it worth reading? DEF!!!

Honestly, this story keeps me intrigued and make me finished it in one sitting (when even I have difficulty to finished one novel). LOVE IT

Tho if you have light stomach better not to read... No, just skip the gore-ish detail, KEEP READING. For myself I didn't find the desc scary/ frightening/ disgusting

But seriously....

I LOVE IT!!!

HAHAHA TOO CUTE

I loooove stories where one party teases the other and the other party doesn't actually hate it and can't run away. Too adorable. I almost want to pity Gu Kaifeng, except he's enjoying the hell out of the situation haha

To be honest I'm a little afraid that the story will lose a lot of it's charm after their feelings become mutual.. Definitely the solving of ghost problems will become a core topic later, so I feel like this story will become entirely different (good or bad, I don't... more>> know).

Anyway, right now it's super cute, worth reading for those that like this genre!! <<less

Cute. Not gonna lie though, I feel like it could have gone a little longer (great ending though). I especially like the interactions with the ghosts and the mirror on the ceiling scene hehehe

Very sweet. But after they got together I kinda lost interest because the story isn’t rlly that deep.
I read this for the 2nd time because I forgot that ive already read this and I only remembered halfway through.

Its cute but maybe a little too cute. I think the MC is a bit too cute. He is rlly shy and clueless and then after they got together he shifts a bit too fast and just accepts the whole love and relationship after he was so against it.

Its a light little... more>> read but I couldn’t finish it all the way through after the 2. Read even though I couldn’t remember almost everything. <<less

Such a cute novel, never thought it would be the first baby project of CG, the characters are pretty realistic, their relationship progress is understandable and sticky, love it

Spoiler

uwuwuwuw, the pianost story was so sad, and the fact our main idiots have been separated always in their past lives and deaths is also sad, gladly this novel is light and it just shows how heart wretched it was but does not torture us, wish happiness both our sticky cake and wolf and the pianist with that young master

Cute and enjoyable. The two leads are a little immature and boyish, but I think that's to be expected because of their age. I found some of the misunderstandings very frustrating, but they do eventually get resolved (but it takes a long time to get there in my opinion). There were some ghost scenes that were surprisingly heartfelt and bittersweet which I enjoyed a lot. Other than those ghost scenes, the story was pretty lighthearted and a bit of a no-brainer.

This book was so much fun 😂!! I'm gonna miss sticky cake Li Feiran and doting boyfriend Gu Kaifeng's antics.

I had a great time reading. There was no complex plot, no angst, and no relationship problems of any kind. It was just a sweet and funny story about two idiot high school students falling in love and making everyone feel single (I have never eaten so much dog food before). The supernatural aspect was the cherry on top. Some of those ghosts had heartbreaking stories and I teared up a... more>> little.

Adorable couple dynamics and amazing character growth too!

PS: The side couple was also hilarious and sweet. <<less

Super sweet. Though everything at the start is basically a misunderstanding, but I think the feelings that they had for each other were always there. MC should have feelings for the ML quite early on but didn't realise it himself. Only through the constant teasing from the ML did he start to slowly slowly slowly (impt things must be said thrice) realise that he had different feelings for the ML.

The horror aspect of the novel is more like a comedy most of the times. However, there are some parts that... more>> are quite touching and emotional as well.

Overall, highly recommended to those that enjoy a short and sweet but also funny novel :> <<less

3.5 - 4 stars. Main story complete, extras still to read.

Sweet, straightforward story for when you're itching to read something light-hearted. I think the romance is altogether well-constructed, it has its "funny" aspect and its serious, more "devoted" aspect. It's nothing mindblowing, but it entertains and is pretty steamy at times.

Plot is sufficient, you could catch me outright shedding tears over the poor kitty and then a LOT during the little girl's story. Again, simple storylines but they were handled well and left an impression.

All in all had a nice... more>> time, would recommend! <<less

This story doesn't have a lot of conflicts or plot, it's really about the romantic progress of the two main characters, surprisingly I really liked it, I don't tend to like stories where there isn't a clear plot but I grew attached to the characters and found them really cute together <3

I'll definitely check more stories from this author!

So yes, he start to be veeeery close to him so of course the roomate misunderstood the situation and thinks that he is actually in love with him!

Funny, intriguing and so beautiful slow burn romance 💕

I really liked it, the characters have rounded personalities and I like how this is really sweet and how they help ghosts, there are some misunderstandings but not so much that makes me won't to die, it's more like MC can't say things and ML misunderstands, but in a good way!

ML is kinda wolfish and like he knows Hes attractive so he kinda *shrugs* something I can't explain

ML friends are silly those two do want to make me pull out my hair

MC is cute and nice but he is also... more>> very... like a princesses?, that's not something bad it's just the only way right now I can began to explain it.

<<less

This novel was a great read. Hilarious, sweet, touching, and surprisingly deep in some parts. Now let me dive into the details.

The entire novel is just hilarious. I was laughing the whole time. The parts that were supposed to be funny were funny. Some parts that weren't supposed to be funny were funny. The way many things were phrased were just hilarious. I felt so refreshed from laughing so much.

My only complaint is that the main character is ridiculously dense up until around chapter 30-40. The male lead will call... more>> the main character his wife and he (the main character) still just thinks they have a platonic relationship. I wanted to hit my head on something because of how dumb and blind he was. I was also annoyed by the author sometimes describing the male lead as "like a girl." I thought it was much more charming when she emphasized his handsome-ness. But that is common in bl so maybe it won't bother you as much. Furthermore, I was a bit annoyed because the male lead is ridiculously h**ny. Really thinking all the time and not with his brain...

Yet that being said... the main character goes through a very genuine, natural, and significant character development throughout the novel. He goes from being blind in fear to someone who is quite considerate and truly helping others. He also becomes quite sensible and reliable. And gains a lot of confidence regarding sexuality. And the male lead, although he does not get less h**ny, is truly compassionate and caring for the main character. He respects the main character's feelings and boundaries (mostly...) and genuinely wants the best for him. His h**ny nature is also vital for them actually getting together, as the main character is too proud to admit his feelings and the male lead's constant wooing is the key to bridging that.

Once the couple actually gets together, they are quite a power couple and truly synchronized with one another. At first I was in disbelief at the author writing that they were expecting this relationship to last beyond high school, but then they showed a surprising amount of depth and connection that it changed me to a believer.

As I previously mentioned, this novel is also gets surprisingly deep. As the summary says, the main character has Yin-Yang eyes and can see ghosts. He uses his power to help some ghosts and the stories of the ghosts he learns as he helps them combined with his genuine compassion for helping them seriously made me tear up while reading. The author was not afraid to make the ghosts' stories raw and tragic and they really touched my heart.

One thing that I thought was great about this novel was the characters emphasizing that being gay is natural and you're born that way. Really great!

Overall, as I said before, this was a great and very entertaining read. A light and humorous story but with surprising depth.

Also I strongly recommend you read the extras!!!! They did not feel extra at all, they felt like a continuation of the novel and are needed for getting the most complete feeling from the story. <<less

I love it, the romance was just too natural. Unlike some novels where they fall in love far to easily.
