Still in the beginning of the story, but the settings and the characters are great.

I love how ML and MC interact with each other and how respectful they are of one another. The female lead is a hardworking college student, who got married to the ML.

For now, both of them are slowly getting used to their living situation. I look forward to reading more ~

I really really really love and enjoyed my time with this novel, the relationship between the ML and FL were already sweet from early chapters and just gets sweeter towards the end that I had to pause to take a breath bc it was too romantic and sweet and I started feeling bad for myself that I almost teared up bc why couldn’t I have what they have? Back to topic. There’s a bit conflict which added more spice to the novel and elevated their relationship to another level and... more>> that’s probably my favorite part of the novel after their lovey-dovey moments <<less

When writing this review, it's actually my second time to read this novel, because I forgot the story and only reminiscing after reading half of it.

About the translation, it's good, but there are dozens missing chapters when I read this novel.

I enjoy this novel so much, it's easy to like and sympathize with FL, Su Quizi and He Yu is one of the perfect ML on C-Novel. FL have emotional burden because of her family, but she still thrive to be the best version of herself. ML is blackbelly, but... more>> he respect FL's way of life and decision.

Along the story, I think that all the character was built well, the beginning of the attraction, the rift and the reconciling between FL and ML was portrayed so sensible.

Enjoyable story with sweet developments in love story. The background plot of how older generation actions affect the young creates a good background for the character development.
However, the only disappointment is that the translator seems to give up on the editing in the later chapters making the quality of the story drop significantly.

It's really not that bad. Its quite nice slice of life story. The general plot is interesting however, the way the author wrote and presented the story is a bit bland. There were a lot of vague subtext and lengthy descriptions when straight to the point dialogue would have been better.

It was 4— then 5, then 4 stars again. The first part, while somewhat bland is still good and since its a slice of life I cant exactly complain abt it u know. Then the climax happened, which is very very good. I loved it, MC was resolute and ML was regretting.

Didn't last for so long though. MC wasnt as resolute in a blink of an eye. It even got boring after that. When it came to the last few chaps, idk if its just me but I think the... more>> translation quality dropped. <<less

I loved this, I am usually skeptical about picking up novels rated below 4 but this one doesn't deserve that rating imo like I have read way more incoherent novels with a higher rating.

This is an arranged marriage trope book and it actually really builds nicely. The male lead barring his one act is a really good guy and our female lead who seems to be an issue for some readers is adorable, yes she is reliant on the male lead and in their relationship you might find her passive... more>> or you might feel like she didn't go all I want revenge on her family. But I loved her what she was, she was carving out her own path and future to the best of her capabilities and her thought process made sense and I understood where she was coming from.

Overall would definitely recommend if you are looking for a sweet read with a gradual build. <<less

So far, the story looks good. It really shows the whole arranged marriage dynamics. None of them is currently head over heels in love. And that's why it looks so real. A proper arranged marriage setting. Though the husband is total male lead. Perfect at almost everything. Looking forward to the future chapters and how they develop their relationship more ~~
