I'm gonna write a review early on the novel since I dont know yet whether to continue or not.

I like it, it is light, and it is a suitable book to read when your bored

But Im going to write this review seriously of what my thoughts are when currently in the early chapters.

Ok, so first of, I do not want repititions, I dont like to see over and over again of how the MC is being tricked and ends the mission as a failure, like, I dont mind the ML I know how much the ML loves the MC to the point of selfishness but dont <<less

The story is very nice. Here we have a big amount of good stories with plot, cuteness and comedy. Of course, some drama to cry is also there. Very satisfying novel.

It is a world hopping with different plots every time. The novel is not getting as we have new and new ways from our ML every time.
There is also a mystery about ML and MC and the past. It’s slowly uncovering until the end.

Nothing too much special, but the ration is deserved. Writing style is good. The characters are likable and not 2D.

There is no overcomplicated plot twists, which is making this story more of light read for fun and relax. It’s really relaxing, especially after several angsty novels.

Recommend.

It’s a funny premise, the couple is cute cause I like op, possessive Male leads. The relationship the MC has with his system is also cute and fun to read. Since I non stop read this over the past couple days it’s safe to say I enjoyed it.
The only complaint is that the details in the story can be lacking. Whether it’s the individual worlds that suddenly end, with no mention of 1, how our MC and ML spent the rest of their days there. And 2, how the worlds original hero and heroin ended up. At most we get a brief sentence. And the big plot didn’t nearly have enough details in my opinion.

However I can still say I enjoyed this and those complaints won’t stop you enjoying this story too!!!

Reading the novel halfway, I feel as if the MC and his system can't do anything right, the supposed system doesn't even bother helping MC in certain situations, I believe it's supposed to be a funny interactions between the two but it doesn't sit right with me.

Oh boy, the MC is like a puppet.

He's always been helpless along the way so it's infuriating to see him be dragged about and can't even do anything to solve his problem.

I noticed that the MC only thinks about himself not even bothering to... more>> think about the consequences of his actions and instead always blames it on somebody else.

But the plot is good so thumbs up for that.

The only thing I can say is that the protagonist is a very good protagonist... from the novel within a cannon fodder revival novel, as the protagonist white lotus (real), silly and sweet (just silly, nothing sweet) and in the one that everyone (especially toxic and crazy men) falls in love with him; that whimsical spoiled child personality and seemingly innocent and goofy, exactly like the protagonists of the original novels in the cannon fodder revival novels.

I like this novel! It has some very funny moments, and while the progression of the romance is very, very subtle at first, it is there which I appreciate. And even after they work some things out and get together, it’s not a happily ever after, they still have stuff to work out and they talk about it! Maybe they should have talked a bit more, but there’s really a lot going on, I don’t blame the author for being satisfied with what was there, I was satisfied too. I... more>> also like that there are hints to the MC’s black belly even very early on, that maybe doesn’t get picked up on until later.

I think it’s important to note that neither the MC or ML are very good people, no matter how they might act.

They’re both thousands of years old, and don’t really see the worlds they transmigrate to as really real, nor the people in it. ‘Lines of code’ is a frequent phrase used. So they don’t really see any consequences from anything they do in those worlds as a big deal, or something to be concerned about unless it affects their s*x life, their ability to have a good life, or the MC’s rewards for completing a plot.

I’ve noticed a lot of people mention the third world, where the MC and ML are married and having s*x but the next world the MC is back to refusing the ML’s advances, and imo it’s because what is eighteen years to an immortal? The fourth world is the first one where the MC realizes that the ML has been the same in every world and that’s why things keep going wrong for him, which seems to be the real issue the MC is having—trying to contemplate someone who can actually stay by his side after so long, which the MC does think about later on.

I do think that this novel suffered somewhat from a weaker ending and an awful lot of dubcon, but it’s still well worth the read if you’re okay with the trigger warnings. The translation team is great and you can really tell they worked so hard on this out of love. <<less

Loved the main story but I wish there was more. I feel its unfinished and would have preferred if there was some kind of continuation in the extras. The extras were kinda random.

Still I enjoyed it more than I expected. It was fun to read.

It's a great story, unpredictable, out of the schemes, it plays with the thrope but is often unexpected. If I am to judge something, I liked the first few arcs, I wish arc 6, 7 and 8 had the courage to explore the interesting ideas to the end, but I'm happy even if they didn't. I would have skipped the 9th arc (or just add a content warning at the beginning of it so we know we can skip it), I understand that some of the stuff is to... more>> blacken the MC, still it could have been avoided. Epilogue is good, if a bit rushed. <<less

What I could say is both the MC and ML are not likeable characters. Tbh, I've dropped this novel before after reading 5 or 6 arcs? But, I decided to give it a try again after knowing that the translation is done. Therefore, I thank all the translators that had been working hard on this novel. Your explanations are really helpful :)

I was quite annoyed with the push and pull of MC and ML, indecisiveness of the MC, reckless ML, and how uncommunicative their relationship is. That was why... more>> I decided to drop this, but after I read this again from the very start... I found it quite acceptable? I don't find their dynamic annoying anymore, more like I don't know if I should laugh or cry when reading them "harming each other" and felt helpless and could only shaking my head and sighed. Well, I couldn't say that sometimes I didn't become impatient with both of MC and ML, but then again like I said, both of them are not likeable characters.

The MC is not as innocent or cheerful as seen in the beginning.

his past is really tragic and I can understand how he comes to hate the world and wanted to take revenge. Alas, I wish there is an extra about FY meeting his reincarnated sister.

Also, there is a plot point that I didn't get, it is the background story when FY decided to lost his memories. It was said that the Main God (ML) give unconscious FY to BX for sending him to lower planes, does it means that the ML knows FY beforehand? I mean did they have previous relationship?._. or sending him to the lower planes was FY punishment? I... my small brain doesn't get it (；∀；)

Well, for the ML, I appreciate him for how he tried to suppress his nature for the sake of our MC again and again. I don't like him for playing the MC at the beginning though haha.

Well, all in all, do I recommend this novel? for passing the time this is okay. Though, I would say that some might be annoyed with MC and ML at the beginning. But, their dynamic become better towards the end. <<less
