I know many people say that there are no good novels on this site, and it oftens feels like the top lists are filled with overpowered MC's, undeveloped harems, 2D characters, and lacking plots.

There are some novels that stand out, however, whether that be for their plots, characters, or translations.

I have avoided harem tags like the plague, due to many cardboard cutout supporting characters. However, the few stories with harem tags listed actually have characters with at least 2D/3D personalities. almost all of these have a rating of 4+ as the quality(rating) is more important than the quantity(popularity). Incomplete stories can be pirated using nyaa.si, vn miedo, ect. <<less
