The story is simple and enjoyable. Every obstacles MC faces were easily solved, every event she compete, she wins magnificently. MC is extremely lucky and skilled. There was no tension in the novel. Many complicated situations were ignored or handled simply.

Questions like who is the father of the child, what happened to the guy who pursued MC, how gu shimo family was handled, or how fu Xian react after divorce, how MC lived with her daughter and her other parents etc.. But the novel was very relaxing to read and... more>> you will enjoy it if you don't think too much <<less

Pros: NO male lead. MC has a cheat anyone would envy. She just wants money (don’t we all).

Cons: It started to become dragging because there were just too much of netizens hacking MC only to be faceslapped/MC is too OP, and did not have too many scenes with the villain kid (he’s literally in the title so I was expecting more exposure).

NO ML for MC!!! Truly a wonder.

The usual transmigration romance story, perfected with cute son (s), ridiculous plot of MC is the hottest star ever, face slapping enemy and entertainment theme (alot!). But without ML!

The ridiculousness of the entertainment plot is getting boring after it gets balled from one to another 'frowned eyes plot'. The cold hearted MC is fine by me, but when she has double standard in her cold heart, that's just suck and unjust.

I dont understand how MC could be so adamant to admonish another soul of the novel eventho not the same timeline. I mean, she is not a soul of the novel herself.

I really did like this story. It's a fun drama filled story that pulls a FL from a doomed end of the world and throws her into the world of a novel her Sister had mentioned to her. It's interesting, because there are elements from her old life, including her ability from that life playing a role in this new one.

Spoiler

My only real complaint is that it was never really stated why she happened to fall into this new world after dying in her own. Because though this new world is exciting, and as a side note it's interesting that she carries on to the end that she doesn't want to have any kind of romantic relationship with someone because of her past, most of the details of her former life are left blank.

I absolutely loved this story. It didn't have a forced in romance and it actually focused a large portion of the storyline on the parent-child relationship which was nice. There are a few things that I felt was left unanswered but that's negligible. Overall I'd give it a 10/10 simply because I thought it was cute and I was hooked to the point that I finished it in a day.

I loved this story so much that I want to read the author's other stories. They actually mentioned their following work... more>> at the end if this story and I might read it next. <<less

I quite like this book. The translation was clear enough, it didn’t read like an MTL at all, and the storyline was okay. There isn’t an ML, which I’m a bit disappointed about.

I’m really glad she didn’t end up with the scumbag father of her kid

Towards the end FL got a bit too OPd in my opinion. Way too much love for just one person. But hey, if I’m happy to accept black and white pendant dragons, what else can’t I accept? I do dislike some of the perceptions the author has about foreigners, but it’s nothing detrimental. At the end of the day it’s a Chinese WebNovel, I can’t expect author to research western culture and web culture just for a little book they probably wrote in their spare time, and I equally can’t expect author to depict the exact nuance of western culture while also living in China.

I didn’t love the ending, but it didn’t feel rushed to me. It’s also not too long, so it’s a cute little read. <<less

This novel is truly bad, very poor writing. That said, the FL has the best superpower she brought with her from her Apocalypse's days (where it was useless to her). She was a simple accountant who perished in the Apocalypse and transmigrated into a novel as a jobless 18th tier actress with a million dollars worth of debt.

Her cheat: If she eats a lot of junk food, or simply highly caloric food, sugary, fatty food that normally makes people fat with bad skin breakouts, she becomes visibly more beautiful right away! And no matter how huge is her meal, her stomach stays flat!

But if she eats fruits and vegetables, then she stays the same.

[collapse]

So, that part was sort of funny and made me want to read further hoping to see more fun. Alas, the rest of the novel's contents were simply too poorly executed, boring and s*upid cliches on every page, and the story of a single young mother with three kids (the hero of the novel, the villain, and the cannon fodder) who becomes a movie star and a business tycoon was too tr*shy to enjoy. <<less

Read this if you like child raising books. Do not read if you like cunning leads, face slapping and revenge. Our MC is too lazy and everything good gets delivered to her door with zero effort

c28 : The premise is good but the MC irritates me so much. She's a ditzy dumb narcissist. I hate dumb, clueless characters. Every line I read, I seem to be praying to God to bless her with some brains. I will keep reading and edit this as I go. ... more>> C79 : MC still feels dumb and clueless, but the story has become entertaining after she signs up for her first show. C153: she's still naive, her halo is too strong. A pretty face and good luck makes other people give her the world with no effort on her part.

c261: MC is a bit naive, people around her are too star struck but have to say, she's a very good mother. I'll read it again for the mother-son fluff. <<less

This one is just fine. Not bad, but also not that good. Funny but sometimes annoying. Reasonable but illogical. In short, don't expect too much for this. Also, I advice sensitive people not to read this. I saw before that someone with protective and tender heart commented that this novel was insulting as there were some sensitive topics involved such as kidnapping and r*pe from one of the side characters past. Please don't read this if you're easily triggered as you guys might cry from your compassion.

I didn’t have high hopes reading this because of the reviews and dear god, some of the reviews are really wack to the point I had to make an account LOL.

1. “The son liked the mother just bc she’s pretty!” No. That didn’t happen. She went into the Welfare Centre, stopped those other kids from bullying her son and protected him and then firmly asked him to “stand up by himself”.

He described her as “Warm and Tender” for that because she protected him. Would you not see someone who protected... more>> you as a child to be a bright light? He is still a child with simple thinking, to him now, he said “my mum isn’t someone who abandoned me. She’s warm and tender and not a bad person like what people called her.”, obviously to him, his mom is going to the most beautiful woman in the world. But that isn’t why he liked her.

2. She is strong for herself and thinks for herself too, she hasn’t completely let go of her past and that’s what makes her realistic. She’s a little “frantic and fuzzy” since this is a whole new world to her but she quickly steps up to her role as well and is determined to do her best to live it well. She is quite weak at the start but to me, it’s justifiable. She also wasn’t used to the weak and frail body she was in as well especially after being in a Zombie world that requires you to be strong.

However, this is also a rather brain-dead novel and you have to shut off your mind to simply enjoy it. If you come into this story looking for some dog-blood and extreme face-slapping, it won’t exist here.

A few things which I personally don’t like (not a strong ick for me but it is for others as they were not met with what they wanted and expected from this story) is that she’s quite OP, not by just a little, but quite a lot to the point where it doesn’t make sense.

Magical powers and “Space-time” is dragged in to the point where you can’t really register if this is a deeper fantastical world with lore or simply a transmigration story.

Since she’s rather OP, the story can get quite boring so unless you’re looking for a quick read to shut your brain off to, you might not really enjoy this one.

This story’s description also doesn’t hint at any face-slapping as well or extreme dog-blood in the first place so I’m really wondering where all these expectations came from from the unhappy readers? The story didn’t set itself with such expectations so I’m not really sure why people are judging it on such expectations.

IMO: there’s nothing wrong with “brain-dead” novels or “suspense-filled” novels, it’s really all about your own preferences. But when you throw your own expectations and your own likings into a story which was not written by the Author for such genres and then hate on it excessively because it doesn’t have what YOU want, then you’re the problem. <<less

MC is a Mary Sue with her cheat ability of becoming beautiful through eating (so jealous I wish I could also eat w/o worry of getting fat QAQ) and her amazing luck/plot armor. There was also a nice twist with the son and the villain, and the daughter at the end.

[collapse]

The face-slapping was satisfying and Han Yue's reactions MC antics was so funny too. I just wish there were more extras. If you want a light read with not too much angst and plenty of mother-son fluff do give it a try! The translators also did a good job, the novel was very easy to digest and there's not too much typos. Many thanks to the translators who worked hard!! <<less

Recommended for those who love transmigration with both physically and mentally strong MC, who comes from the apocalypse, with no romance (not even a romantic subplot), and has a child, her villain son, to accompany her throughout her life.

There's also two more children, one who's the original owner's biological daughter and the male lead of the novel that MC had read in her previous life.

I love this novel and was the first novel that I've read in the female lead section which has no romance, although I sometimes have this desire to see some small romance in MC's life, like it can't be helped since the FL novels I've read before always has romance. <<less

I liked how the novel did not follow a regular conclusion with the MC ending with an ML. This novel was still engaging since the MC's interactions with her son were endearing. Also, the face slapping did not get too overwhelming since the author still prioritized the MC's development. Given that she transmigrated from an apocalyptic world, that seemed fitting. I believe that her second life should not be wasted for revenge until it was absolutely neccessary. Hence, I appreciated the novel more than others.

I'm here for face slapping moment but sadly there's not much of it in this story. Instead, most of it consisted of how perfect MC was and how smart MC's son was. Their way to the richdom were so smooth with the help of heroine and MC's cheat. And there was also:

The future Fu Yu (MC's son) 's soul inside the current Fu Yu aka Xia Xingchen who also helped Xingchen develop skin care formula for MC's company. He also helped him get a dirt of Xia Jing's past thus destroy her completely.

[collapse]

To be honest, more than half of this story was a bit boring. It got more interesting near the end because of the face slapping moment but like I said in the beginning, there's not much of it so I'm not satisfied at all. Of coures there were also a good point in this story, such as:

Spoiler

There's no ML in this story. It's not like other typical transmigration novel where MC will live happily ever after with some CEO. In this novel, MC chose her own happiness, that is to enjoy a rich single life and eat whatever she wants with her children.

[collapse]

As for other points that make me disappointed:

Spoiler
  • I don't like it when MC forced future Fu Yu out of Xingchen's body. Yes he was a bit vicious but he did not harm to the current Xiangchen and he longed to be loved too. He also helped MC and her son so much. In fact without him, MC won't get a formula of skin care that will make her rich and also she won't get rid of Xia Jing easily. I really hoped that MC will let future Fu Yu to coexist with the current Xiangchen, at least until he felt that he too was loved. Too bad, MC let him go. I could only wish that he got a better life in his new life somewhere out there.
  • I don't like it when people roasted Xia Jing because of her past as a child pro**itu**. She was a victim back then. Of course her acts towards MC were another case. She deserved to be punished for what she had done to MC but not for her past.
  • Till the end, the author didn't specifically tell who were Xiangchen's biological parents. If he was also trafficked in the past, didn't his biological parent deserve to know his whereabout too?
  • As for Fu Xian, he really deserved it. I'm really happy that MC didn't end up with him although they shared a daughter together. Our MC deserved better.

While I admit that this is an unrealistic Mary Sue book, it was fun and cute. I was looking for a cute child rearing book, and this did the trick.

It was also kinda nice to have a child rearing book that didn't switch to almost entirely romance half-way through. (There's no ML in a book with a female protagonist. Shock!)

At first I was going to give a lower rating, however it is tagged as a "Slice of Life" so I wasn't expecting some kind of convoluted or well-constructed plot.

The beginning reminded me a bit of Unruly Phoenix Xiao Yao, but then it mixed a lot of other different elements without making it sound forced. I confess that I got a bit bored with all the repetition of: being dirtied-face slapping- being dirtied- face slapping.... nevetheless, it is a light hearted story and its a good read.

The element which caught my attention in this story is that: There was no ML (and it suited this story really well, because it is so forced to try to put an overly capable ML for this type of OP FL, I was ok with just her son being above the norm
