Description
Links are NOT allowed. Format your description nicely so people can easily read them. Please use proper spacing and paragraphs. The second prince got a woman with child and broke off the engagement he had with me. Ours wasn’t a love match to begin with, and I couldn’t even claim to feel angry or sad at the news. Despite that, it would seem I was still owed an apology. But why was one who brought it the older brother of my ex-fiance, the crown prince himself?

Will gave his youngest brother/adoptive son a female version of Runa
-1.5 star for weak MC
-1 star for shallow plot
+1 star for a well developed unreliable narrator story The summary captures the MC's perspective of the story pretty well. The author was clearly trying to write a tale where the innocent MC goes headfirst into the love trap of a heavily endowed male yandere of high power in a world where their massive class difference would leave him unable to refuse even if he wanted to. This is a happy story ONLY because the crown prince is a yandere with scruples. He waits for the MC to grow up before starting to pursue his (from his perspective) fiancé. He doesn't hold the MC forgetting their childhood promise or getting engaged to his s*upid brother against him. He takes the time for them to get to know each other before pursuing an engagement. His extreme possessiveness does lead him to isolating the MC, but I don't think he would have done it so completely if the MC had not been so against socializing himself. Lid meet kettle. The ML's creepy love never crosses the MC's personal boundaries, so they fit pretty well as a couple. The author manages to achieve a story where the reader fully catches the implicit hints the MC willfully ignores. In that sense the story is a success. Details:
8 year age gap, ML is a male yandere who fell in love with a 4 year old toddler and tried his best to secretly protect his future wife until he could meet again officially in adulthood. His s*upid younger brother messed up his plans by pursuing the beauty while the ML was abroad on a diplomatic mission. ML hurries back and instigates his younger brother to cheat and ruin the engagement. More must have happened than just this considering that so many characters accept that the MC should only be a male consort than the main wife anyway. Probably some pillow wind from the ex-fiancés new lover who was arranged by the ML.
It is heavily implied in one scene that the MC might have actually met the younger brother first; this may be why the ML put in so much effort to raise his younger brother to be a brainless dandy. ML is a person who arranged someone other than his mother to bear a child for his father just so he could marry a man. He also seems to have done some things that made those in high enough positions aware that he is a dangerous fellow who has only restrained himself for the final goal of pursuing his wife. Maybe he made arrangements for those who neglected road maintenance on the path where MC had an accident that caused him to forget his betrothal promise? Just that doesn't seem enough to have a foreign prince refer to the ML as a 'Lion'.
The final extra is the most disturbing. The adoptive child is confused about his attraction to his adoptive mother. The ML notices and (politely?) scares him off. He behaves well so the ML arranged a relative of the MC as a prospective princess. Adoptive son starts planning to make her more and more like the MC, happily skipping to his oldest brother for advice on how to raise this 7 year old into his ideal image. Creepy. The heavy parallel has me really hoping that the MC wasn't also a stand in. The ML didn't directly appear in the MC's life, but it doesn't exclude that his upbringing was influenced by the Crown Prince who had placed guards around him from a young age. It's hard to say that his low self esteem and issues making friends were independent of their intentional manipulation of who could approach when guarding the MC at school.
