The story's not bad, I am looking forward to the plot development to come, even if I came for the smut.

If you're planning to read the machine translations, beware of the perspective and pronoun switching, as heavily apparent during smut scenes.

I have to disagree pretty heavily with the previous review... I mean, it's a novel that has "eroge" right in the title so if you are thoroughly disappointed that the ML is acting like, y'know, an eroge ML then.. I don't know how to help you. The author sets up pretty quickly what kind of story this is (the prologue literally opens the novel with dub-con smut!) so I'm surprised anyone could get past the first 4 sentences and think it was supposed to be plot-focused. Nothing about the plot/characterizations... more>> is really outlandish or "s*upid" either if you actually consider the genre of games that the author is referencing -- both the novel title and synopsis explicitly tell you that this is going to be another isekai setting where the hero is dropped in a fantasy world except this one is literally inside a het hentai game, so I would think most readers would be expecting the writing to mimic hentai logic and language to some degree. Complaining that the characters are too perverted when the setting is a hentai game world feels pretty silly, like ordering a rib-eye steak and complaining that you were served meat when you're a vegetarian.

I think the smut is actually really enjoyable to read through because even if their first sexual encounter starts with dub-con, there's a lot of internal dialogue from the MC about how much he enjoys the feeling so it doesn't feel gross and forcible. It quickly becomes apparent, too, how much the ML loves Zagan and only Zagan so I didn't really think of him as a scum stallion... a little bland and underdeveloped, maybe, since his only defining feature is really "loves Zagan" (but again, eroge setting so I wasn't expecting some groundbreakingly complex and nuanced ML).

Surprisingly, I genuinely enjoy the world building in this novel, with the different attributes and the mystery of what happened between the three gods. As the novel progresses, the smut slows down a little bit and I find myself more invested in the actual plot of the story (which starts out pretty thin, understandably).

Because of the somewhat carefree pacing where it's not super tightly structured, this has become a comfort read for me where I'll read 2-3 ch. every day or two. It's not a gripping read where you binge and desperately need to know what happens, but it's fun as a lighter fluffier story with some pretty well done smut. <<less

Smut novel, thought it was plot focused 😅 the story is okay. Probably, I'm not good with Japanese yaoi novel because the MC is timid and s*upid. He only cried when he felt humiliated in the 4th s*x (c16). I also dislike the perverted ML. The ML looks like a scum stallion, forcing (raping) the MC while the MC is unconscious to transfer power. Of all thing for power recovery, really doing s*x to unconscious person. Take note that MC is not in life threatening condition. This is so s*upid... more>> 😅

Whereas the MC accepted it when he woke up. Really s*upid 😅 MC as a straight in past easily accepted to be f*cked by man. -Sigh-

This is a very enjoyable read. Although the ML’s dirty talk type was not quite my cup of a tea, his sincere feeling towards MC is very abundant, the MC character progress, the world building was quite detailed, the supporting characters were very likable.

i personally don’t quite like the term ‘shirimanko’, literally translated as ‘bu*t’ and woman’s private parts, personally just thinking why would you call a man’s parts as a woman’s parts. I think the ML always use this term when they did it. I’m not sure since up to c42, they did it every so often, probably around once every three chapters. And the ML is quite the typical eroge MC, how he’s almost constantly triggered (in se*ual sense) by MC.

There were causes for every phenomenon occurred. I’m quite surprised since eroge or otome ge type of novels quite often brushed off the ‘cause’ details as “it is the scenario, so that’s how it should have been”.

Despite this is based on eroge scenario, I enjoyed very much the ‘adventure part’ of the story. So if you’re considering whether to read it, try it! Honestly i’m reading this for its story rather than its smut, I personally think even if the smut is not as often as it is, it is a very enjoyable read already. <<less

It's still too early to judge for me. The characters are okay, nothing too noteworthy. (I mean it's supposed to be an eroge. So...) Still, a lot of changes have occured because of the MC's transmigration. So, I can only wish for some character development in later chapters. (The other reviews aren't making me so optimistic 😅)

The smut is something I'm very happy about. There's some So read at your own discretion.
