Please use proper spacing and paragraphs.Once she woke up, Gu Xuejiao became the arrogant and willful stepsister of the book’s male lead. Her specialty resided in breaking the relationship between the male and female lead… she is the nth female character.
Gu Xuejiao thought about this character´s ending. A desolate, abhorrent annihilation… and decided it’s better to continue to practice the Wu San workbooks she just finished in her last life.
The Cheng family watched in alarm:
The girl who was rebellious, and only served to let others worry; asked with a simple expression:
“Do you think it’s better for me to apply to Tsinghua University or Beijing University?”
Cheng family: ….
Note: Wu San workbooks is the Chinese version of Barron’s and Princeton’s for the SAT

It sure has it's flaws but it's definitely as bad as others have put it.
ML never got s*xual or tried to condition MC into anything or in any way or form; not before she was underage, not after; neither before they were together, nor after they got together. The story is cliché but has a hint of its own flavors to stand out from the rest. Though it dropped off towards the end (back towards extreme clichés and tropes), I must say.
The romance was super awkward. MC seemed to be uncharastically hyper shy and dodging the ML. He came on a bit strong. Not sure if the author was aware how bad it was making him look after all the time his established character was a patient, loving gentleman. The dramatics that it took for MC to finally confess her feelings was way too extra.
Though MC and ML both fall under the same type of cookie-cutter protagonists, MC unlike most transmigrators, doesn't come with anything special aside from the passionate pursuit of academic learning and a slightly more mental matureness. (No beauty filters or learning hacks like a photographic memory.)
That being said, the story will mainly and most prominently feature her academic life.
The drama and romance is very much present but definitely serves mostly as background ambiance.
The ML is your typical older CEO in his mid twenties who is both a jack and master of all trades, but he's way more talkative and proactive when it comes to his sort.
The worst he'd ever do to MC is monitoring her at the beginning since they're two people of different walks of life who would never ever cross roads under normal circumstances.
The only way to establish a connection is to make ML spy and monitor MC early on and create some intentional coincidences of meeting each other irl.
Probably read too many yandere/modern CEO novels at this point to consider this level of a ML bad in any way or form.If anything, I'd blame the author for the poor choice of mixing slice of life at school with the CEO ML trope.
