Please use proper spacing and paragraphs.Once she woke up, Gu Xuejiao became the arrogant and willful stepsister of the book’s male lead. Her specialty resided in breaking the relationship between the male and female lead… she is the nth female character.
Gu Xuejiao thought about this character´s ending. A desolate, abhorrent annihilation… and decided it’s better to continue to practice the Wu San workbooks she just finished in her last life.
The Cheng family watched in alarm:
The girl who was rebellious, and only served to let others worry; asked with a simple expression:
“Do you think it’s better for me to apply to Tsinghua University or Beijing University?”
Cheng family: ….

I will try no to repeat the good points that many had already pointed out in their reviews, but to add some. This work is the first one that made me want to have a take on translating. Our MC in her past life had a pretty shitty starting point in her life. Abandoned, then adopted, then orphaned and poor. But still from the few good things life had given her, solely on determination and hard work her path was sure to be a promising one - if she hadn't died before. She got reborn in the body of a girl with the same name as her, similar appearance but with a really good starting point in life, but it got shitty afterwards. Actually, the funny thing is, if you compare the two Gu Xuejiaos, one life had given stones to take out the milk, and the other life had given her milk but it became spoiled. What I understood the message that the author wanted to pass was - It doesn't matter your starting point in life, what matters most is your mindset. And this is too much of a wide range of a topic but basically is, if you have the right mindset, your life will be better. Well, this is a truth for anyone but very very few can actually apply it in life. And the reborn Gu Xuejiao had the right mindset, and we got to know her life from this history, and it's a rewarding experience. We have her experience from awakening in a family in shambles, reputation in the ditches, and miserable school performance to fulfilling her desires in life. She isn't ambitious - she just has things that she really likes to do and chases hard for her dreams. One of the things I like is how she herself knows she isn't very on the smart side, both intellectually and emotionally. She knows her shortcomings well and just covers them up with determination and hard work. Well, to be hard-working, you really need to be determined. Gu Xuejiao knows that while a genius needs 1 day she may need 30 days. If a genius can be an athlete, school bully, and have a high EQ, maybe, she can only dedicate herself to mathematics and life her life having an average physique and be a little s*upid on the emotional side. For you to get your shortcomings an advantages right, this in itself is an achievement. As for the text, some parts can seem a little too dragged on but this doesn't make the novel bad - it's just a bad part of it. I like how it portrays her family, her social circle, and her mindset on her future and studies. Especially her relationship with her mother, it's a very common problem nowadays and the way it shows it, I like it very much. We too have love interests and an ML but as far as our emotionally impaired MC is, expect a SLOOOOW romance, but it's worth it. It's really sweet. We do have an overbearing-president ML but he isn't a possessive scumbag. He does is possessive but he respects her much more than that. He can be seen as an ass-wiping one but he only does wipes her ass when it's something really overboard - if he can't even cover up that then it's really being useless. He really loves and cherishes the MC... Had I already told their romance is sweet? I personally believe that the things you read can affect your mood, your desires, and your mindset. That's why I like to read positive-minded histories more and this one is a really good example. I would strongly recommend this for hi-school students, university students, or simply someone who is felling shitty and wants to cheer up in one way or another. Maybe I can actually call this history a motivational one. A worth read. Kudos for the translation team.
