MC is very heavily reliant on luck. The world is not very well planned out and the powers don't make any sense, I still don't know whether hwanmong is real or just a dream?? All very confusing. MC has godlike charm that seduces every single enemy he comes across, side characters are basically forgotten and have no point. The only time that side characters actually make an appearnce is when they are introduced, after the MC is stronger than them they are completely and utterly forgotten. Mentioned like once or... more>> twice in the next 50chapters. Only good thing about this book is that it actually has an ending, unlike a LOT of martial cultivation novels (most of them). E.G MC became a god that cant be defeated in the entire world!!! OH WAIT AN INTERDIMENSIONAL PORTAL OPENED UP BECAUSE THE WILL OF THE HEAVENS WILL NOT ACCEPT SUCH A POWERFUL BEING ON THIS WORLD!!!! BAM THE MC IS THROWN INTO THE WORLD OF GODS!!! Where there is litterly nothing different, sects still exist, clans, and MC faceslapping gods. In this novel this only happens once, or twice. MC becomes the strongest soverign, promoted to commander, becomes strongest commander and then becomes a god, then becomes strongest god. But thats it. There's nothing else above god, unlike other cultivation novels. This one has an actual f*cking end, and a satisfying one at that. It's a good time sink for sure, don't read if you can't bear with shitty character development, world building, power description, power usage, MC getting luck, plot armor, unkillable MC, etc etc. <<less

The story is very good. After the fast pace began, it also somehow became very interesting

Recently finished the story, and I can say that I liked it. It had great pacing (almost great*), MC was quite likeable, story itself was unique and character development was quite good too (weak were not forgotten, but they appeared rarely). Pacing was almost great because MC level up spped was too fast - just recently he was weaker than some guy and after 5 minutes he was already like 100 times stronger than that guy.

Also he skipped the transcendental stage too fast - it broke the flow. And author forgot about Anomal Phoenix. It appeared, went into MC's wings... and remained there forever.

This is really bland. I don't know how else to describe it. While the concept is certainly interesting, everything else is just... bland. The characters are flat and boring. The plot progression is not engaging. The fights are as interesting as a 3-line police report. I tried to power through because the world the author constructed was somewhat interesting but in the end I just couldn't keep focused on it and gave up.

For thoses searchin for chapters, just search on Google and you'll find them.

Now, for the review :

It is a great story. Although it is complete, it gives off a feeling of an unfinished and rushed novel.

Buy the end isn't rushed, at least ten chapters to explain what's going on.

Give it a try, it's a nice novel to read, easy and good read.

Quite nice story with competant world building and characters, let dow by a rushed pace that makes everything seem hollow. The rushed pace also means the MC isnt seen working hard for anything after chapter 4, and makes story seem like wish fulfillment morevthan anything. Enjoyable if you are looking for an overpowered protagonist story, but let down by overly fast pacing.... more>>

It gets quite rediculous when he reaches max level by jumping up 100 levels at once, four different times, and still seems impressed by getting 1 level up after a mission

This novel starts off fine, with a interesting premise. But around when he gets his first major building, the MC gets stronger far faster, and it speeds up even more later in the novel, this leads to almost anything else getting less attention: powers, characters other than the MC, items, the world. I myself have never seen a more rushed plot before.

Personally I would recommend to not read this one at all, only the start is somewhat interesting and after that it just turns in a MC power fantasy.

It should be unavailable nowmto read online, maybe I am wrong.

The MC is not Chu Feng or Yun Che who slaughters every chciken and hen in the clan, and he is not a typical JP MC either. Still his revenge leaves more to be desired for.

It is actually dream cultivation where level system exists, other dimensions exist and Qi/chakra energy has good enough subsititues.

A new and unique plot that is well developed at the start. So if I have to rate the starting 50 chapters, I would rate them five... more>> stars.

The power pace picks up from chapter 100 onwards and so there is much to be desired that is left out.

The end, similar to many novels is not staisfying enough. You have experienced that awesomeness, and you hold many expectations for it and the ending just doesn't meet that. It feels rushed, not too rushed though.

Overall I would give it four stars, or three point five if being brutally honest.

Harem is present and it is not that well explained or crafted, if you are not into it, take a step back right here.

All that needed to be said has been said. <<less

Nice novel, space is moving fast enough...

MC is ok as usual in this kind of novel, but like always some minor errors (brainless sometimes) : Chapter 47 MC found cocaine... and need someone to tr*sh it... hello dude tr*sh it yourself in the toilet why need to call someone for that...

Anyway, the universe is original the cross over between real world and fantasy world is great, I never read such novel before.

And the translation is well done.

This is really a delightful read and I hope my review serves for other indecisive readers, be it to read it or not. So, here's the deal: it's a harem, but so far there isn't really any romance, just a few possible future harem members. Their personalities are very different and life-like.

Now, for some small spoilers about the setting. Don't read it if you don't mind small spoilers about the first few chapters (just about the setting, not about any specific occurences) :
Spoiler

So, if you wan't to know what this is about, think a little about... Hmm.. Maybe Gantz meets Hail The King meets any base building strategy game. So, a normal poor worker in Korea was given a chance to be part of something like a 'dream-world battle'. Every few nights he'd be summoned into a dream world very much like reality, but in there, he'd have territory management options. For instance, at the start, his territory was just his room. Which he could turn it into a base. Then, he could get other territories to build other things in order to build his army. Barracks, Research Towers, etc. But, he'd have to fight for the other territories in his dream and actually own (or have a rent contract) on them in REAL life. That's where it gets really interesting. He's given some habilities to help the real life part, while he levels up and acquires new skill in dream world. It's really good. But, you have to be warned, there is some plot-armor and he gets somewhat OP really fast (amongst his peers, as so far, there's always someone above), but he really has to fight hard for it.

[collapse]

Anyway. It's well written and translated and there is some foreshadowing, but don't go into this thinking it will be a deep read. Resuming: if you enjoy well-written books, with OP characters (not from the start, and not really so far) and a (future) harem, this is for you.

It's an enjoyable story that details the life of a poor man, Kang-jun, as he rises to the top through battle and enlightenment. Though violent, the mood pertaining to the story is peaceful, not unlike what you might find in a slice-of-life novel. It teaches you to appreciate the little things in life, even if you stand at the pinnacle.

Go in not expecting a legendary saga, but instead an account of a man who struggles to hold and keep dear the things he loves, and you'll be sure to enjoy... more>> yourself. <<less

I love this story. This story has a smart MC who doesn't go flaunting his powers to everyone. The MC is ruthless to enemy & kind to his friends. He keeps a serene mind. He go though life & death moment once in while in 20 to 30 chapters repeatedly & overcome them. He keeps working hard to become best sovereign on the earth.I like the way he deals with his enemy & progress in the novel.

I like the concept of Hwanmong & how he can only gain power at night. Also he doesn't misuse his power too much in reality.i like the leveling up system & skill & management aspect of the novel. He is one intrepid fighter fighting at the front.

[collapse]

For my conclusion, this novel has a very good story & has no major loopholes. All the things are explained & the situations are very well delineated according to me. <<less

Reading this is like taking a breathe of fresh air from the usual trend of the MCs "struggling for eternity" and "wimps"

The MC in the novel does struggle a bit but it is refreshing to see that he gets a significant increase in strength everytime that it feels like his struggles are very worth it (unlike other novels where MCs take 2 steps forward and 1 step back)

Though it is understandable that novels like this are rare as this one only have 180 chapters unlike other novels that are... more>> uselessly prolonged that it ends up getting annoying as things repeat over and over.

There is a strong plot armor but it is reasonable if you think of his high "Luck" stat. Well it is easier to swallow as he is strong to begin with. <<less

If your looking for the perfect novel, this isn't it. Don't know why people are complaining for. It's a very good short novel. Remember 180 chapters so it will be fast paced and can't go into detail about everything. It's really good novel as it gets straight to the main objectives with no troll chapters like the big novels do. I like army building even though it doesn't show much side characters it's still a good piece to read

Since it started just as a short chapters, easy story I didn't expect it to be so catchy, but I'm loving it, hoped it had the possibility of sponsored chapters as well xD

But it would be nice if the MC stoped with this ghostphobya =x I really liked Hayun

Eventually it got too fast paced, so I lowered the rate, it still has some good fights to read however, and as a short story with a good translation it's still OK to read. I didn't like how his subordinates on Earth were almost completely forgotten after he started to become too strong
