Even more so, he transmigrated as the villain and is forced to follow the plot. Qin Kaiyi expresses that he doesn’t want to write novels anymore.
Qin Kaiyi: “WTF. transmigrating into the villain and being forced to follow the plot. Just let it be. Shen Feixiao, can you get the f*ck down from my body???”
Shen Feixiao: “Shixiong, I won’t.”
Alright, actually this is just a s*upid story about transmigrating into his own novel as the villain and getting pushed down by his own protagonist.

My guilty pleasure are yanderes. And, though I obviously don't agree with it outside of fiction, it's interesting to read stories with confinement, Stockholm Syndrome, obsession, etc... If you don't like these things and can't tolerate them, you will not like this story. This story is f*cked up. But, on to my actual review.
I dislike systems in stories generally and this did not change my mind. It's more enjoyable for me to see a character act without restrictions — especially when they have no way to return to their world. I also thought that the system tasks were kind of useless. Instead of saying "have the MC do this to the ML", it would have been better for the task to be "make sure the ML gets to BLANK". That would have given the MC an infinite amount of ways to progress the story aside from abusing or hurting the ML.
The confinement in this novel was not great. First off, we see it in the MC's dream but never get that dream realized. It's such a short part of such a long novel that didn't seem written as well as it could have been. On that topic, I feel like after a while the point of Yan Gu (the MC's fire spirit), Zhang-whatever Pei (rival ML), and the sable were kind of just there as filler characters. There was not really a big purpose to them or true, in-depth character development.
Last, but not least, I was so confused by the transmigration back to the real world. Forgetting that there's a chapter in the midst of this arc where the MC goes back to the cultivation world and then that's never explained or delved into, even in the real world, the ML isn't given any lovable characteristics. I would root for him more if he had more passionate love than just cold obsession. But, I have to admit I appreciated the realistic take the author took. Either way, I think the story is fine the way it is.
All in all, if there weren't so many issues, I would give it five stars! I ate this up and loved all of it. There wasn't really any lulls or parts where I felt the plot dragged, though I feel it could have been shortened. Still, would recommend to people who have this taste.
