Okay I'm glad I came across this novel cause it's good

With the growth of both the ML and FL it gets interesting and sometimes frustrating but that's understandable because emotions are meant to be felt

And we also see the crisis those with disabilities face and how it can make them twisted.

But I highly recommend this novel.

This novel had such a unique storyline all the way from the very 1st chapter and I really enjoyed reading very much but I kinda didn't understand the storyline in the extras of the novel why did the FL got transported to the original timeline from her current timeline and if she got transported what happened to our pei chuan from current timeline.I just want to solve this confusion of mine what exactly happened in the extras. But the main ending of the novel was so refreshing and satisfying 💕

Giving it 5 stars bec I love the extras so much. Reincarnated FL goes back to her original world several yrs after her death, so the ML is already older and much more blackened. I love the flavor. Reread it so many times.

A good and very memorable novel for me. Romance centred around ML with severe inferiority complex due to his disabilities and a very go lucky FL that might seem weak but is very strong hearted.

one of my favourite aspect of this second chance/reincarnation is how our FL kept her childishness and a mentality true to her physical age as her body is unable to maintain all her pass life memory.

A must read for people looking for short stories to read. It's so bitter, sour, salty and sweet. Overall it's one of my faves.

Some people might think it's too "dramatic" on the ML's childhood story but for me I think that there are billions of people in the world we might not know that someone out there is experiencing such thing. Reading these novels truly quench my desire in looking for something SHORT, DRAMATIC but mostly HAVE A HAPPY ENDING.

I don't know how I feel about this... my heart was so heavy throughout especially towards the end. Its definitely a good story but someone has been cutting onions :')

Also some people are saying ML' s inferior complex is annoying but I feel like it's justified considering the environment he grew up in... more>>

being bullied by his peers and eventually even his parents abandoned him. FL's parents also gave him money hoping he'd stay away from their daughter. What's the most heartbreaking is that he wasn't born disabled but had his legs chopped off by criminals. He definitely deserved a completely healthy life and he knows it but he can't do anything about it. In these circumstances, he can only look down on himself and feel that he doesn't deserve FL.

Also the story is really slow paced, starting when they were 4 and 5 in kindergarten and then the story slowly depicts their growth. Although it's slow, I feel like it's essential in building up the relationship and how they each grow emotionally which makes the climax more impactful.

All in all, I really enjoyed the story but probably won't re read it anytime soon cos I don't want to cry my eyes swollen again :')

edit: I went to read some of the raws and there is an error in the translation in chapter 86

when the students ask how long they've been together, he actually said 5 years old, not 5 years. I did not suspect it at first cos it's true that they've officially been tgh for 5 yrs but I have a habit of reading the raws of sweet moments and comparing it with the translation and that's when I saw it. I was thinking it would've been so much better if he said since young so it was a pleasant surprise <3

Very good, nice character development.

I saw a few bad reviews saying it's not the case, that's not true it just takes a lot of time. Sure the ML is unlikable at first, but the FL doesn't like him at that time so it is realistic.

The only thing I disliked were the additional chapters after the end of the story. Those were long and not really necessary. I kind of had to power through to read them.

Loved it, sometimes I cried and sometimes I felt warmth when reading this.
It’s not too dark as it was realistic and showed what some people have to go through to get something others get easily.
ML has many flaws and insecurities but he’s also a gentle and considerate which brings his character more depth and charm. Main leads are supportive of each other and other side characters are pretty good as well.

This novel is a slow burn and angsty. It is not fluffy

The main villain plot doesn’t show up until the last third of the novel. The conflict before that is about how society treats differently abled people and the insecurities people can have

The romance is not easy, the FL has to fight to get her happy ending. She fights society, her parents, the villain, AND the ML

... more>> The transmigration is interesting, she forgets plot points and isn’t a Mary Sue with a golden finger who fixes everything, which was refreshing

The extra took me a bit to get into, but it was also nice. It picked up a sci-fi plot that was dropped in the original novel

I recommend this novel for those who are looking for a bittersweet, slow, romance <<less

I almost dropped this because the ML's inferiority complex can be really annoying and I don't like how disabled people are treated in the novel. The parents are especially disgusting because of their self-centeredness. I know the story mirrors some real issues like bullying disabled people, or them having inferiority complex, but the depiction of it is just too terrible to read. The ML is one of the most sorry figure I have ever read. He's obviously talented and special, but so tragic. Things could have turn out different for... more>> him if somebody showed him some care and affection. But the parents even forgets to pick him up from school and are the main reason why he devalues himself. The main story and the fanwai shows alternatively how the ML lived with the rebirthed and affectionate Bei Yao, and the original Bei Yao who he had an unrequited love for. Although I don't like the fanwai. I wish it's a fanwai of their married life instead.
If you read this, maybe you'll also feel like dropping it too because of the fluctuating inferiority of the ML and some of the terrible characters. But please hold on, because the second half of the story is worth it. When he finally gave himself the chance to pursue happiness, it was really worth all the angst and annoyance of the first half of the novel. I cried a lot. And I'm like, FINALLY, you deserve to be happy. From the time of the tragedy, she's really the only one who stayed caring for him. No matter how many times he rejected her affections, she's always beside him when something bad happens. The first half of the novel shows how dark people can be, but the second half shows that there are some good people. It's ironic that he realized this during his time in prison.

I think the jail time is a needed transition in the story. Because when he said, he's trouble, he's really trouble because he works with some unscrupulous people which can endanger Bei Yao if he didn't turn himself in. It also gave him a chance to clean up and live a righteous life and have a real family.

So give this novel a chance and you'll love it when you finish it. It's not fluffy during the first half. ML is not tsundere (he's a little evil) and has some real issues. But their love is persistent and pure. It's really a good read. It's also a little like the Guide to Raising the Sick Villain, but the romance in that one is faster, and here, the romance is slower because they started the story in kindergarted. But it has the same ending, acceptance, redemption, love and a happy family. <<less

At first I feel like it is too slow however I persevered and I realised that I did the right thing. The slow kind of pacing is suitable for this story... It is essential and makes you better feel the emotions of the characters.

I highly recommend this!

It's alright.

Too much angst in Highschool, but their adult life is much better.

I honestly think that there's too much filler that contributed nothing to character development or storyline.

Also, DON'T READ THE EXTRAS, it is very anticlimactic. But if you want long-winded boring narrative, knock yourself out.

Wow, what a roller coaster ride. I went in thinking it was a story of healing, but the ML gets abused so much even the second time around. It was very heartbreaking. Other then sticking around him, I feel FL did not help him much.

The whole rebirth was useless because she lost most memories of her past life and didn’t prevent any of the previous harm from happening to him. Was frustrating to me.

So so so f*cking good! So absolutely good!!!

At first I thought this was a light novel where its all fluffy. Then I was proven wrong. Its very bittersweet. I shed tears for this. So much pain but also so much comfort. Where there's pain there's comfort.

ML has insecurities and physically hurted everyone who talks bad about MC or girls who tried to get close to him. He uses ways to get close to her and support her family after they got seperated. He's insecure of his disability as he has... more>> been bullied so many times. He never showed himself in a wheelchair too because of that. He's really a devil, I thought it was some kind of childish way of calling him but turns out it really was true. But for her, he turned himself in and was in jail. He got his much sought happily ever after. Even the previous life pei chuan too!!

MC is your typical cute and innocent flower but she's really very charming. She's not OP by any means and her memories of her past life is hazy and she didn't use it to her advantage that much as life is unpredictable. She didn't plan to fall in love with him but only to treat him well, which was really shown in the novel. She cares for him and coax him, he's very stubborn but she's also too. However she also has her temper. But Pei chuan will be there to coax her back too.

I honestly did not expect everything I read here, but I still left with much satisfaction. Its so verry good. It hurts so so good. So bittersweet, so sweet. Its so good you should definitely try it.

I just wished it was clarified what happened after nineteen year old Bei Yao decided to stay in Satan!PeiChuan's world. Is there another Bei Yao existing in her original world or something??

First thing is that theres way tooo much angst for me to handle nd I think I left reading coz the ML kept on degrading himself nd was not gonna do anything coupley wid her as he ALWAYS kept on thinking that shes gonna hate him nd hes the worst in the world coz his disabled, I lowkey hate how the author made eah everything revolve around his legs nd disablilty, the story up till 50 or something was a lil bit boring nd okok so I eventually dropped nd... more>> later picked up to read it when it was completed, other than their first time together which was kinda bad prolly coz he had no idea wat he was doing, it was for the first time nd the pent up ig the rest all scenes I loved the ML a lot. Abt just watching the fls fam in trouble nd not help was bad but I think its coz hes in other ppl eyes a worthless nd futureless person nd shes a beautiful, smart girl so u can technically say that he did that coz he wanted the parents to give her to him without taking her himself as that would strain her relation wid her parents. May not be everyone’s cup of tea, but is a great read if you’re looking for something that will squeeze your heart. It’s very cute with short bursts of drama, (but nothing too big that makes you want to isekai into the novel personally beat people up). Although the ending was a bit abrupt, I didn’t mind it because I got to enjoy a beautiful long read as the translators have done an amazing job. this novel is very good. It’s more to heart-warming-kind-of novel but with a good plot. If the novel is more focused in the conflict, this novel would be the best novel that I’ve ever read. But unfortunately, the novel is more focused on how beautiful is the fl, how pitiful the ML was, and how the ML felt like he’s not good enough for the ml.

for a typical chinese novel, it’s already a very good novel

This novel is soo well written it took me by surprise, therefore I write this review as a way of showing gratitude towards the author. The synopsis didn't give me much to look forward to. I just started reading because I was out of choices, and boy am I glad. Their story starts when they're barely grasping onto the way the world works at the tender age of 4-5. I like the story, cos I feel like the family part of it is realistic. I won't spoil, but I really do get the sentiment of the plot. I mean, life is unpredictable and there really are people who are quite unfortunate with their life. Also people have different ways of coping, so I kinda see some of the scenes here happening in real life thats why I don't blame the author for going beyooooond.
