I need to say, that this novel can (and with a big possibility will) broke your three views if they are still intact. But that's not a bad point here! Don't be scared. ;) It's not a harem, but you can see it like one because of

I do not consider it a bad point. Also it gives this novel quite a unique taste. I was quite sad at the ending, I almost cried. I want my Huanhan. ; ( Nothing very new with the world structure. Not much of action. It's mostly about our MC trying to find answers for his goals and return home. While he also have to educate his three beloved disciples.

The main character is quite ordinary, I suppose. But I like the ML.

Also, many review here have different opinions of MC and his disciples, I will tell you that, even through they are a bit possessive and totally a vinegar jars, they do not dare force him to anything. So there is no forcing here, I hope it's clear.

Also, this novel is quite spicy. Mostly all is behind the closed doors, but it still have enough for it to be spicy and to broke readers three views.

I personally enjoyed this novel. And if you still dare after reading my warning in the beginning, I Recommend you to try it.

Pros :

The MC has a satisfying personality. He's calm and collected. Really couldn't see that's he's a shou. The MLs are fun, you got 3 different types. Kinda sad that they merged together at the end. The second pair of TGY and CYZ are kinda cute.

The mystery of the dao ancestor is what made me keep reading this. The plot started slow but I enjoyed it. Kinda turned into a slice of life in the later half ngl.

Cons :

I neeed more extras about MC and ML's life before the story happened. I thought this will be a happy go lucky turned full of dogblood abuse but it's surprisingly calm. <<less

I have no idea why the ratings for this are so low. The MC and MLs are realistic. The side characters are fleshed out. The pacing suits the story perfectly, slow but not too slow - events progress at a decent enough pace to keep you interested. You can see that the author carefully planned the plot out and it's a decent plot. The characterisation is on par with Founder of Diabolism. There's no noncon. The translation is good quality... Really, I don't see anything to complain about.

For anyone worried,... more>> there IS some angst in the first half, as the MC figures out his feelings and the MLs struggle with wanting to stay close to him vs keeping their real identities a secret. It's so worth it later, though.

The 3 disciples are actually one soul split into three pieces so, technically, the MC ends up with all of them <3 <3 <3 (see the pun I made there?) <<less

The pace is very fast, but it's not hurried at all. It's fast and slow at the same time? Things are happening every chapter but you can generally gist through and cling onto the dialogue as important points of progression/to-reads. The harem (3p) carries on until the last 2 chapters of the novel, nothing bad happens!! Everything is very pleasant (even when the MC died like, one? But he reincarnated so it's cool)

I really really like (and routed so hard) for Qin Jun, he's my favourite out of all... more>> the bunch. You can generally just take your pick of favs here, in the end

This story was really enjoyable to read and decently spicy (ty translating team but I still curse the censorship crabs). The focus is heavily on the relationship between Jiang Yinghe (MC) and his 3 disciples, gradually revealing their backstories and the reincarnation concept, but there's not much 'plot' to the story outside of this.

I found the MC's initial denseness and "20-km long disciple-loving glasses" to be hilarious rather than annoying. ^_^ I also liked the 3 different types of personality in his disciples, and was glad that...... more>>

how irritating his disciples characters are. I don't know if it's just my tastes, but I especially dislike one of them.

The way that story tries to justify him being in relationship with three different bodies with three different minds is way over the top. You won't even realise when you will start accepting this polygamy as a natural result because " they are part of same person". The story easily glosses over the fact that they have not fused yet which makes them 3 different beings. It is also conveniently forgotten that after the fusion, it is implied that they are now 4 personalities. 3+1 original.

Near the end you get to see a furry convention on-screen too.

All in all, even though it is a decent read, if you are not careful, you won't even realise when your world views got twisted.

I like the end goal of this novel tbh. I just didn’t really enjoy the journey getting there. Some parts are really fun, others hot & cute, & then there are the ones that make me go HUHHHH????

I want to say that I’ve enjoyed the plot, but the cons are obviously glaring. If anything READ IT FOR THE ROMANCE.

Is a good novel and I like it, though I do not like that after a while there start to appear some mystery plot about the MC lost of feeling and started to get complicated. I liked that at first it was funny, interesting and romantic, it was not complicated and it was interesting.
