I finished this one a long time ago. But I was re-reading it a few days ago, so I think I can do a decent review this time.

Well, to begin with, what I like most about Mo Chen Huan as an author is, without a doubt, the amount of effort she puts into detailing things. She really dives into the central point to be worked on, bringing information and descriptions that, even if you don't know much about the subject, you'll still be able to visualize the scenes well and won't end up feeling so lost. And, believe me, I could easily get lost in any of the fashion sh*t or other themes that ROS works with, since I've never been interested in anything like that.
Another thing I think she does well is develop the dynamics of the couple's relationship. It makes them grow comfortably and with a sense of reality. You end up finding the reasons why they came to be together totally plausible, even thinking that they SHOULD be dating. At least, I felt that way reading ROS and some of her other novels.
I wouldn't particularly say that the secondary characters in ROS are very attractive, memorable or developed. I find them "so-so" or simply "acceptable". It wouldn't make much difference to me whether they were there or not. At most, the reading would be a bit tedious, but nothing that would put me off completely.
ROS is an easy read, relatively entertaining and well-written, with good plot and character development. I'd recommend it more to those who like the fashion theme and all the rest, but I think anyone can have a satisfying ride if all they're looking for is a good read or distraction.
