One of the things I really like about this story is that the female protagonist is actually, you know, average. No earth-shattering beauty, no heaven-defying intelligence, no ravenous desire for revenge or power. Just someone who quietly loves a man who doesn't even notice her existence. At first anyway. 

The said ML goes through real hardship and actually develops into someone who deserves the protagonist. It's a very satisfying tale. It's so good in fact, I re-read the last two chapters from time to time just for the feels. Absolutely recommend this. <<less

Pacing is great, the characters actually have personalities and the female protagonist is pretty mature from what I remember. 

One of its great points is that the romance actually takes time to develop. It isn't rushed, nor does it make you question why Ml loves the protagonist.  <<less

The MC started out smart and defied my low expectations for female leads in c-novels. The ML was... well, a typical OP ML, pretty straightforward in his interest towards her. 

But then sh*t hits the fan, and everyone is suddenly drowning in melodrama. The MC becomes irrational, selfish and plain s*upid and the ML becomes a weak little puppy. (I also find his lurve for the MC extremely confusing given what she apparently does to his family. Does he have no morals? Smh) I wanted to punch everyone screaming "ONE PUUUUNCH!!!" 

The writing is beautiful and this COULD have been such a great novel but no, we can't have nice things in this house. It's pretty short, but still, read at your own risk. <<less

A very entertaining, albeit short, read. I loved the first lifetime, but the second lifetime made me cringe quite a lot. I thought the story would have a more serious tone, but that wasn't the case (I forgot tags exist, lol). The MC was weaker than I expected as well (she literally didn't do anything during some conflicts which was frustrating because I was expecting some badass fighting on her part, being a celestial and all). On a positive note, the ML's character in the first lifetime was quite good imo.

It makes you wonder, are all the things that we consider to be facts and part of history, really true? We can never be 100% certain, as the ones who left behind those records were humans with their own biases.
