This is a list of romance novels (largely JP shoujos) with heroines that DO NOT cry at every turn of a hat, heroes that DO NOT appear every single time a supposedly 'strong' heroine needs rescue, GOOD TRANSLATIONS (!!) and nice romances.
No wishy-washy illogical and frustrating nonsensical helpless damsels in distress here! Hmph.
(Note: this list is, generally, in the particular order of personal preference/how much I recommend it. However, all of the novels on this list should be worth a read at least.)
