Thank you for translating one of my favorite crematorium novels. Been raving about it long enough on various platforms, so I'm tickled pink that someone picked it up!

It's free on gongzicp, so I've MTled it a long time ago, but I keep coming back to it because the crematorium is so rewarding, and the ML's journey to redemption is so deliciously painful (rightfully so!).

Also, jumping in with my first review before the obligatory BL-negative-raters flock to this novel (it won't be long now).

Their very first misunderstanding was so s*upid, it's not even funny.

So the ML spends years punishing MC for drugging him. Then the ML spends years punishing himself for mistreating MC. 7 whole years filled with scarring each other. &Amp; the author had the audacity to just abruptly end the book before we tasted any sweetness.

The grovelling is 11/10 but it makes you feel depressed not cathartic; in the end, they are just hurting each other and destroying their health.

This story remind me of 'morbid attachment', a bittersweet romance with psychological plot. Not gonna write down any spoiler, read it yourself so you can feel what I felt, the heartbreak, dissapointment, hurts and finally an acceptance. It got less than 70 chapters and a plothole but damn, I'm still satisfied with the author. And yes, a HE if you're that curious.

I am satisfied with this novel, I was looking for a crematorium and that is what I found.

MC is stronger than you think, he saw ML reach his lowest point so he can give in. There was a misunderstanding and as a result of that ML acted coldly, but she paid the price for his indifference, I liked what he had to suffer to get ML back.

There is a certain gap in the story, but it's okay, I would have liked more development of the secondary couple

I usually love wife chasing crematorium so I was really excited for this one (even though I had to MTL most of it and maybe that was the problem?) but I didn't like it as much as I had hoped. I really liked the first half but then the second half got kind of boring, there was way too much space taken up by other random people and Xu Yan's job. Looking something to make me cry and this deliver it perfectly. Tbf, both XY and SZ are at fault although mostly are from SZ. Relationship is from two sides. Clearly this should be the case, the balance and all.

I love the growth of each character, how they finally face their issue and solve it together. The smut is nice and gosh I cried a lot. The suffering and grovelling. Everything is just at the right place.

Didn't read the extras yet, but main story is pretty good, although some plot holes (author says she'll fix it in the extras, so I'll give her a pass). It's not the most developed crematorium and the gong isn't really a scum, just s*upid in the beginning. The gong and shou's initial relationship is kind of unrealistic even with the supposed hidden grudge the gong has against the shou (and that part was alright, huge coincidence but makes sense why gong would make that misunderstanding). So some lack of logic/realism... more>> has to be overlooked by a picky reader.

The emotional part was good, I liked how developed the gong's suffering was, it was very emotional. I honestly felt more for him than the shou. I thought the shou had been s*upid for tolerating the gong for so long, and his extreme patience and devotion wasn't explained - why would he go to such great lengths to be with gong when it didn't take much for him to drop the relationship once things got a bit tough?

I liked overall though. The gong's illness was well-written.

I love this novel because it is very type and simple. Of course it had a very good story and smut🙈

The MC is very strong contrary to imagination.

This is a good read but not my favorite work from the author. Still very nice though.

I urge everyone to read the extras. The "nickname" was finally brought to light in there.

Well dunno what the low rating is for, since the scum gong isn't that scummy in the scale of scum but I cried so much reading this. Kinda reminds me of 10 years I loved you feels not sure why since the personalities and stories aren't similar. I threw a fit at the BE chapter tho and realized I still want HE with original couple. Sigh, same thing like in Rebirth Design your life and not getting it
