This is one of the most heartwarming novels I have ever read. The conflicts aren't dragged, there's tons of fluff. And even mysteries from the past aren't overly suspenseful. It's such a lighthearted and laid back read that I assure you that you will be smiling every chapter. This book is great for when you want a break from heavy plots or if you just want to be fed some sweet and easy dog food.

Spoiler

This book also let me experience crying from joy for the first time. Every moment after Yan Ting said he'd give Li Zhao a perfect world in return for the warm world he was given, I sobbed for their beautiful future. For the future of their everlasting love and the future of their beautiful family. I genuinely believe that any couple as strong and loving as these two characters will have a lifetime of happiness.

Truly a very happy, pure and fluffy novel. MC is an orphan striving and trying his best in the showbiz world in order to earn more money for his orphanage sister who took care of him when he was younger. He's a very positive character even when people try to bully him by using (false) scandals and public opinion. He was lucky to meet ML, a rich but mentally ill big boss who took a liking to him due to MC's sunny personality. From then on, his life and the... more>> story became very smooth sailing and any problems he faced will be either solved by his sunny personality, luck or by ML's big boss (monetary) ability. Also, you don't need to worry if you hate overly naive and s*upid characters because MC isn't like that. Although he was initial quite oblivious to ML's feelings, other than towards ML, in regards to other people, he actually has pretty high EQ and is just choosing to ignore some people that are bullying him. He is also very kind hearted, and in return, he gets many happy returns. The initial part of the story isn't very light-hearted when ML's nightmares and slight possessiveness was revealed, but he slowly recovered and it wasn't an issue anymore in the later half. Overall, super fluffy and happiness-inducing novel. Please read and guaranteed to make you happy. <<less

I like this story. The title stands for the story itself. It is light, so don't expect too much. If you're searching for meng and fluff, then this is for you.

  • The MC has a tragic past, however his perspective in life is still optimistic but not to the point of too much, he's not that naive at least. He works really hard, and he has a golden thigh to hold on (ML) so there are not that many setbacks on his career.
  • ML has this sudden attraction thing I guess??? but he took time to know the MC well and help him. He's in the friend zone for a long time.
I love how the ML has yandere tendencies but doesn't act on it 'cause he respects and trusts MC. Their interactions... more>> are very fluffy and comfortable. No unnecessary drama, and if there is drama they talk it out easily. This is like the sunshine after the rain. Very refreshing.

This story is also translated very well, although there are typos from the autocorrect I guess there are no other issues for me because it can be easily understood even then. <<less

Very very happy. This is really a treasure. This is really a hidden gem. This is really a masterpiece. This is one of the novels I don't want to end. Although this is unrealistic, just admit we also want to escape from real life right?

May be I become sensitive after reading too many dog blood novels, that's why I cry in every chapters despite of there are many sweetness. They are the lights for each other darkness. I advise you to read this. You'll regret if you don't read.

✅Perfect Ml×... more>> Perfect MC

I don't want to spoil more. When I read each chapter, I was like where can I get this boyfriend?🤣🤣 <<less

i picked up a story that was supposed to compare to glass mask or skip beat - but there's seriously nothing about the professional development of the MC - nada in the art department :/

as a whole, it's Very poor : in all directions !!

there's an hint at rebirth or prediction for side characters, but it's not used at all : so what's the point ?

it's yet another story where the ML is an overwhelming rich guy with a super brain and tons of money /power to suppress any obstacles... more>> for his lover

there were a few good ideas like the mental state of that big boss, but it's just a painted background - the lack lof family of the MC - but in the end, appart from a few miserable things about children abduction it's also a big background

the story is emotionally poor, the characters don't feel true, and it's boring and absolutely superficial

Add to that a bunch a quasi villains to be mercilessly crushed and a lot of « internet » noise, it makes the boring but a bit cute story rather ugly -

Honestly I don't care to read that a dad is awful because he indulges his selfish and overwhelming girl, but he'll be crushed with his daughter by the ML who does the same (many time), as soon as his « child » is a little wronged - so yes, one is supposedly a bad person but the process is still the same overbearing methods with unfair means - that being for the MC doesn't make it feel right that power and money can put anyone above anything and any others -

it's one of the many ridiculous things that makes it bad, like the peaceful MC turning violent and beating the crap out of people. : it's a man thing to handle these stuff with there fist (or so I read in that novel too). - it's a bit bad, because he had a bit of potential with his smile to adversity way

It was also rather evil to read how he was bullied because he had not background, and mocked by his crew in his hardships : well it doesn't make sense at all - these incidents are described when he's doing a dangerous profession, it's hardly possible that no one would care for his safety, after all, if someone died it would bring lots of problems - he's also described as a super nice guy who gets along, a youngster in need : people woul love to help him - his bully is more like a two face person that killed an opportunity for him, there's no way he would go that far and compromise his image to crush a nobody - lack of respect is possible but straight bullying makes no sense

... and so on - all the evil descriptions seem rather out of place - lots of things are

as for the good things, well I'm all for light, but here us so diluted it feels beached - so yay swet with sweetener maybe - really not my thing <<less

"The world might be full of noise, it was noisy and irritable, but...

He looked at Li Zhao's smiling face and tried to fit himself into the noise."

I want someone to love me like this...

This was a pretty good read in my opinion. Not perfect but still enjoyable. In this story, we follow our MC on his way to stardom from a young small actor to an accomplished one. We get to see his interactions with his fans and the author paints a pretty clear picture of what types of... more>> fans he has. They mind their own business unless it comes to their baby. I loved those interactions.

We also follow the MC and ML as their feelings for each other start growing. The speed in which their feelings developed was pretty nice. I liked how we could see the MC slowly start falling for the Ml.

If you like stories where the love interest falls first this is for you. Other than the MC, I felt like taking the ML and raising him. I was simping for him in a friendship kind of way.. whenever Ting Ting would say a word I'd cheese so hard.

This was a pretty fluffy novel. The face slapping didn't stress me out and the author chose a good pace to develop conflicts. And hear this! The conflicts were solved quickly! If you're looking for a fast read, try it out. Other than all I've mentioned... yes there were some things that I wasn't happy about in this novel. They are:

Spoiler

Don't get me wrong, I was happy for Zhao Zhao. I was happy that he got his rise to stardom. I just felt like I wish he didn't rise so.. easily? He got a lot of help from Ting Ting which I'm happy for him but I wish he could've rose with his own talent and a less powerful backer. I would've loved for Zhao Zhao to grow out of his innocence more. He's been protected so much that it could be easy to take advantage of him. The protagonist halo was too bright and I didn't like that. For example when he beat up Xi Bei, how did nobody leak that?

[collapse]

Spoiler

Another thing, his speed in finding his parents, why was it only towards the last chapters? I would've loved to see more interactions between them as they slowly started to become closer. That's another thing! The speed in which Zhao Zhao got used to calling them mom and dad... anyone else feel like everything was too quick?

[collapse]

Spoiler

Lastly, their trauma. I feel like Ting Ting and Zhao Zhao's trauma should've been written more about. Like how they maybe went into therapy or something. I really feel like that should've been included.

What else can I say that it hadn't been said here? It's a beautiful story about love, about redemption. Two lonely souls that met and attract each other instantly. A very happy vision of life, a hot cup of sweet camomile tea for my patched heart. Thanks to the translator for bringing it out in the open. I really need more stories like these!

I agree with whatever NanairoHana said. Btw, I gave this 2 star because 1 for Li Zhao the MC and 1 for Yan Ting the ML. They are the only reason I’m able to finish reading this. I adore their love. But the story is lackluster with no depth, the villain with transmigration and dream is just weird, and the translation kinda not good as well. But it wasn’t that painful to finish reading it.

Rating: 3.5/5- This fell short because the interaction between the ML and MC is actually only about 30% of this book, the ML and MC still felt like friends even at the end and some plot holes were too big to be overlooked.

Overall the story was still heartwarming and my desire for both characters to be together got me reading to the end. I enjoyed everything about the MC but I wished the ML could have been better defined for me. Too much mystery surrounded him and a lot was... more>> left unexplained even at the end. He was described as tragic and had even died in his previous life but I never really understood why.

Also the commentary throughout the book was a bit excessive, especially because I enjoy reading about the couple more than anything else.

SPOILER ALERT!

Spoiler

The conclusion of the story, in terms of the reunion was also a bit unrealistic for me. In fact, I’d have been happier without it.

[collapse]

Overall this read will please you, but it can also easily bore you. Also if you’re looking for couple fluff, this story will probably cause immense hunger and thirst, so go in preparing to read an MC centric plot with very minimal interaction with his ML. <<less

11/10 recommend this.

If you loved rebirth of a supermodel, then youll love very happy too. The story isnt similar, but the couple dynamic is similar.

  • Li Zhao, the mc
The sweetest most beautiful child in the universe. He is genuinely very kind hearted and pure, but he isnt naive. He knows how to deal with people who slander his family's ting ting.

At first, he is somewhat surprised at homos*xual relationships but thats expected given his upbringing and circumstances. Grows to fully embrace his love for ting ting and it is honestly the... more>> sweetest. Very much reminded me of xie lian, from tgcf.

  • Yan ting, the ml
I was somewhat reluctant to read it bcoz some reviews mentioned him having yandere tendencies. And they were right, he does have possessive thoughts but it is a trauma response and he does not act on them in any form. One of the most sweet and respectful MLs I have had the pleasure of reading.

The book itself, is very cute and very fluffy. There might be some tears but its tears of joy and it just leaves your heart feeling very full and tender. They way the MC and ML are so in love with each other is beautiful. Theres wonderful comedy, love and drama and theres no uninteresting parts.

Read it!! You wont regret, I promise <<less

A novel that low-key teaches a good moral lesson: Never bully a person who didn't do anything bad against you, for you will face great retribution if you do so.

Well, that's my personal takeaway after reading this novel with this kind of setting and premise. I find it decent and quite enjoyable to read, but there's a big BUT here due to some factors that ticks my OC-ness a little so I couldn't give it a perfect score. In my rating scale, it should be 3.5 but I'm rounding it... more>> up to 4 stars since giving it a flat 3 score somehow doesn't suit it and I would feel bad. The reason?

Read on~

STORY:

Since this story is already fully translated, I won't go over the whole story's storyline and overview much ('hope so xD).

Looking at the provided description here in NU, it gives off a "slice-of-life"-y kind of vibe genre as it didn't provide a straight mention of certain plot to look forward to—which is not wrong. Well for me, personally, I would consider the whole story as such since from start to finish, the overall progress revolves around to what is happening around the main character. I'm a little disappointed, though.

Well, to be fair, I did not dislike nor hate the contents of the story. In fact, I quite enjoyed it (I finished it, you see). I laughed, I was fascinated, got amazed, intrigued... but also felt a little betrayed. I enjoyed it, but not 'fully'. Why? Because I felt like some 'promises' were not fulfilled. It started off good. Quite good. I got intrigued by the ML's character. And for the likes of me who enjoys stories with plots, slice-of-life stories is also okay provided it's entertaining enough and won't lullaby me to sleep with boring tropes and lackluster events. In this one, the mysteriousness of ML's condition was enough to keep me going despite the screaming personal dilemma of mine, where I find this writing style is kind of stiff and there's some confusing dialogues/sudden POV shifting (I dunno if the translation has anything to do with it, though), and pretty much 'giving away the feelings' which I ought to be felt instead while reading. I ignored it and continued, looking forward to the further development and the unravelling of truth... but sadly, I didn't get what I was hoping for. Sad...

And to give my evaluation on the overall storyline, it feels like the author put too many thought-provoking components in the story which effectively rouses the interest of the readers, but in the end failed to elaborate on them, and thus, left some few unanswered questions. Or maybe it was all intentional. Like you know, it's her style in writing. That, I'm not sure, but regardless, I felt like the overall flow and sequence on how the whole story would play out was not planned out beforehand. This clearly lacks consistency on this regard, and since I accepted it unilaterally as the slice-of-life kind... *shrug*

On the story's pacing side, there's nothing much to criticize. I enjoyed the face-slapping moments although sometimes I find it a little extreme and exaggerated to be considered realistic. There were also lots of 'lucky' coincidences that made my brows rise a little from time to time. And about the romance... hmm... it's like... magic. I mean, if we're going to look at it in the MC's perspective, it's like it will never gonna happen due to his innocence and seemingly indifference to people's intentions, whether good or bad. But still, it happened. This is the problem if the writer hide the main character's inner thoughts/internal monologue too much to the point us, readers, won't be able to pick up or get clues when the 'spark' started and go off as fireworks. But I gotta say, the confession here is one of the chill-est confession I've ever read so far. It's a little abrupt, but still will make you smile and send your congratulations for them.

CHARACTERS:

Li Zhao, the MC of the story, is the ever so sunny child, one couldn't help but protect because he's such a little ball of sunshine. And Yan Ting is the cold ML with a tragic past—and the very reason why I persevered and finished this 100++ chaptered novel, but in the end I didn't get a proper explanation and conclusion about his condition! I demand justice xD

Sigh...

Well anyway, I liked the characters of the story, especially the MC because of how optimistic he is when facing everything—BUT, I wish he was explored more. I mean, sure, his background was laid out; what he does and how he reacted to each and every situation given is there, but it would have been nice had the author also exposed his inner thoughts towards things more, not just leaving everything to us—just seeing everything under a third-person perspective, observing what he does, clapping and cheering whenever something good happens to him with the help of his rich 'godfather' xD. Also, I didn't like how the author kind of 'forcefully' made the MC do some OOC action just to show that he's not naive. Like you know, after he did the deed, then what? It didn't serve any purpose in the end. I think that step is really unnecessary and just adds to inconsistencies that already exists in this storytelling.

And about the side characters, well, good job for being an effective cannon fodder! It felt really good getting them 'punished' for being bad, but I also felt bad for them because they were obviously existed for that very reason. Ah, it's really hard to be a villain these days...

Overall, characterization is... half-flopped for me.

OVERALL:

Not a bad read.

I quite enjoyed it, actually. This is my first time reading a novel with premise under entertainment circle with lots and lots of face-slapping and "feel-good" moments. It's not that perfect, but I appreciate the rich world setting.

Do I recommend reading this? Sure. But I should remind you, though, that "plot" is pretty much non-existent. It's more like a day-to-day life of the MC (seriously, though, why "slice-of-life" genre is not listed up there? xD). And don't place hope on the exploration of the ML's condition so much like I did to avoid disappointment. I already pointed out some 'minor' issues which usually hinders me to completely enjoy a novel to its fullest, and if you think it won't bother you as much or will consciously watch out for it, be my guest and go ahead.

Looking for a light and "feel-good" story? You're in the right place. <<less

Very Happy! (≧▽≦) At first I was very reluctant on reading this. This reader's cover art aesthetics reach almost mount Everest. The cover art made me looked at the protagonist as if he was s*upid. Couple with the very short sypnosis. It made me correlate this series to a certain anime.

I don't remember the title, but I first read the manga, then it became an anime. It's about a suicidal teacher that did su*cide attempts with every opportunity he have. And a certain optimistic student with brains filled with rainbow... more>> water.

I thought, this series is like that, despite being rainbowturtle's translated work.

And so, I am wrong.

This is clearly a good novel. Adding the psychological part, it was very entertaining.

Zhao Zhao is a true white lotus! This is what a white lotus should be like. He is pure but ferocious.

Despite such a deep and muddy past Zhao Zhao's life is full of smiles and laugher.

This is the reason why, Ting Ting, a character who thought life is such pain in the ass wanted to try living once again.

The story plot is actually very common and this plot is usually seen in QT arc with dog blood drama.

However, inspire of that, the author's way of writing this novel is very smooth and not forced at all. Esp, when carrying out scenes of encounter between our protagonists.

Their interaction is very casual and relaxing.

So let's look at our characters!

Their a very good and I like them a lot! Just finished reading the novel so, every characters is still fresh in my brain.

Li Zhao– Baby Zhao Zhao, our MC. For a protagonist, our MC is very well suited to be in place. Even for their last lives (the dream of Song Yu and Xu Bei's past life), though Zhao Zhoa died early in that life, he still seems to carry protagonist Halo. Downsides is, the step on the wrong road. And so, both our MC and ML never met each other on the past life.

So, let's talk about our baby's mentality.

He was very good actually. For an abused child, our baby Zhao Zhao coped a lot. Maybe because our baby Zhao Zhao is intelligent. That's why even for a child he already understand a lot. Though, his intelligence was only mention on the college entrance exam arc, our baby Zhao Zhao have a good brain and I'm sure that helped him survive his dark past.

Xu Yan Ting– Ting Ting, our ml!! Tingting's case is very interesting. In the Novel, author describe Ting Ting having both positive and negative symptoms of schizophrenia.

Positive symptoms– mainly auditory and visual hallucinations (seeing and hearing his mother when triggered and worst when he have an episode, he would see the scene of the past– death scene)

Negative symptoms– his withdraw social life.

Ting Ting should also have depression. Though he doesn't have any thoughts of su*cide, his desire to live is negative. Ting Ting is a highly fuctional schizophrenic person.

And maybe Ting Ting's death from his past life is from over dosing psychotic drugs.

This Novel is very positive despite the dark past of our two protagonists. Esp, this novel really promoted environment protection, importance of study, having filial piety and the mind settings of being about to look back and go back, instead not look down or just keep a head straight.

I really love this novel! In fact you might be able to think back and open your eyes and see the world different after reading this novel!

Very Happy!! <<less

Tbh, this is the fluffiest and most heart-warming novel I have ever read in these past three years. How the author revealed what the MC and ML had been through tore my heart and the warmth and care they have for each pther melt my heart. The balance between happiness and angst is really good. I LOVE IT. Since the first chapter, this novel put a smile on my lips and in the chapters ahead, made me cry then laugh like an idiot.

I love every characters written, even the cannon... more>> fodder Song Yu. Hhahaha! He's such a tsundere. Hi Zhao Zhao's bff! xD

My favorite character, however, is Li Zhao (our MC). He's warm and sunny. He literally is like a sunflower.

I really am down in the dumps when I discovered this novel, and believe it or not... his character made me hopeful. I've never seen a person my age as lively as him in the working world where I live. I would love to have a friend like him. Ahhhh damn it until now my heart still is very happy for LZ and YT.

I WILL READ THIS AGAIN. T.T <<less

Story:

Li Zhao a poor boy and orphan ist struggling in the entertainment industry but whatever hardships he endured, he still lives his every day very happy. His positiv, sunny attitude and charm are capturing ppls love right, left and center.... especially a special someone who desperatly needs some sunshine in his darkness.

So let's start a story of friendship that heals wounds and fills in the lone places just right.

Also.... equipped with the knowledge of future events thanks to dreams and beeing reborn, there are some little zombie-bugs that try to... more>> nibble at the sunflower.

My opinion:

JUST LOVE THIS STORY!

So cute and fluffy. Though the MC was rather mistreated, the story itself is rather warm.

Small Spoiler:

Spoiler

I especially like that in this story there are two reborn character but neither of them are MC and ML.

[collapse]

There was a review saying they never read about a MC as s*upid as this one. Well he isn't s*upid. In my opinion he might be sometimes intentionally naive, overlooking slights he just doesn't want to fight in that moment. There are things more important to invest his energy in. He did live a frugal live where the basics were hard to come by and without parents as a "fallback"... this changes a the perspective and priorities of a person.

I was positively surprised that even the "villians" werent the stereotypical bad boys, walking in their own doom.

Do you know those stories where the evil person is boiling inside, their manager is telling them to stay away from the MC and not to make trouble? The villain agrees, turns and as soon the manager leaves they turn around and make trouble? Well.... this is not one of thme :D

Just read it and have a good time! <<less

I really enjoy reading this. Good story and good translation. Aside from the story what I love the most from this novel is the MC (Li Zhao). He is really kind heart and lovely. Imagine if the real world have many people with the characteristics like him, how lovely it will become! It's fluffy, heart warming story and lil bit face slapping! It's all good. And there is a side character I took interest from the first time I read this story, the Tsundere Song Yu, lol.
Spoiler

His first act as villain with keep feeding the MC foods in hope he will become so fat. Or changing the character in the drama by pushing the MC to become the main lead is really funny.

This is one of the best books I have read my go to book to feel happy.

The Novel lives up to it's name, It makes the readers and the character very happy. It was well constructed with an overall warm feeling with no angst or misunderstandings.

The main characters got together smoothly and there are so may times I wanted Li Zhao to give Yan Ting a hug (I would have given but I don't want to covet Li Zhao's Ting Ting).

I absolutely love the little theaters and the way... more>> Yan Ting shows off in his weibo. The interactions with all the characters lives up to expectations and the MC is not some weak shou - Oh he can fight, Especially when people say bad things about his family's Ting Ting.

ML is kinda weak in body due to some psychological problems but with the help of MC, he slowly becomes better and those interactions are the reason I have read the whole book thrice.

Spoiler

Like when the first thing Li Zhao does after coming from shooting is making Yan Ting stand on his weighing scale to check his weight. Reminding Yan Ting to wear coats too protect from the cold and opening a noodle shop just so that Yan Ting can be called Second Boss eventhough the shop itself doesn't make much profits.

All these are little actions that makes us warm and more than half of them was done before they even got together so we can easily perceive how much attention and kindness Zhao Zhao gave to this particular friend

[collapse]

Yan Ting also gives his time to Zhao Zhao and not only is the receiver. It's a well balanced relationship and that just makes it better.

Spoiler

Especially when he got endors**ents and also all the workers in Cang Huan kissing up to him and watching Li Zhao's movie cuz Yan Ting made a post on it.

Yan Ting giving Zhao Zhao money in the reality show without even asking what it's for and to show that Zhao Zhao has a powerful backer. (Zhao Zhao had to call someone to say whether 'I love You' or borrow a million dollars. He called Yan Ting who gave him 2 Million!!)

[collapse]

Also I love the character's personalities - They are well constructed and you can feel the happiness or sadness through the screen. Each character has realistic personalities with Yan Ting's insecurities due to his past and Zhao Zhao's kindness and repayment if someone were to help him due to his past - All makes the characters much more relatable

Overall, This novel lives upto it's namesake and I wish all of you would read it so you can feel happy and also cry wishing to get someone like the main characters of this story. <<less

Such a sweet and touching story, like it very much. Here you will find tons of fluff, some serious topics, and lighthearted humor. I especially like the main character, strong and determined. And he is happy!

Very happy! This story made me very happy!

A sweet slice of life story of a small actor and a cold CEO.

Both the MC and ML have tragic backgrounds, but the ending is very happy!

MC: an orphan working hard to earn money, age 20

ML: a cold CEO that has nothing to live for, age 28

Spoiler

Interestingly enough, there are two reincarnators in the story, both of whom are side characters. It's interesting to see how they try to change their fate for the better by stepping on others, but end up failing to live a better life. Reincarnator A tried and failed to become a famous actor by stepping on the MC. Eventually Reincarnator A learns from his mistakes and becomes somewhat of a friend to the MC. While Reincarnator B is the typical villain that epically fails due to being a scheming greentea b*tch.
