ML has a kind of obsession with MC because he does not feel comfortable when he is out of sight or cuddling, all because because in his previous life ML had many enemies and when they found the MC wanted to kill her but escaped with the elite soldier then he prevented himself from looking for her, wanted Protect her and he continued to try to get the throne in order to bring him to his side as soon as possible, but when he finally succeeded and went to bring it, it was too late for the only wish of ML in his life now is the happiness of MC and she lives a long life unlike his previous life where she was miserable and finally died

They only had one child for a long time, and ML had very little affection for the kid, and he was expressive about it too. But knowing how much yandere of a ML is and his obsession with FL, FL had to choose other ways around instead of confronting him. That's one of her debatable weak point. She took psychology before migrating I think and she should be able to work on his stubbornness or maybe it's just not impossible to change his worry for her cuz ML lived the sorrowful life where he lost her (which she also saw his pov in a dream they shared; ya they can share dream, anyways it's rebirth+transmigration so anything is possible ahaha) plus there were numerous times where ML would have lost her again in the present time. Maybe she knows, it's just impossible to change him so she chose other ways to ease his mind and also the rs they had with everyone else including their child, yes their child, I see why most ppl would complain. But anyways, ML didn't harm the child & gave him everything his son needed except the affection. Good thing, their child turns out to be a really good person who understands his father would not comprise anything when it comes to FL. Their son even became a good ruler/father/husband so I don't really need to complain. ML really only has FL in his eyes.
This is also why I said above that there were too much politics with unnecessarily details. If u have read Malicious Military Empress, you would know how much is too much. I had to give FL the benefits of the doubts when it comes to taking actions instead of the author explaining in details for matters like this. But luckily, it's only a couple so it won't annoy you.

FL hates concubines, ppl saying her coming from modern day, should understand the system. But she's been in this period for so long. She has emotional connections to a lot of ppl around her and the concubines she encountered were sly & harmful to these ppl she cared about. So maybe she just doesn't wanna be a bigger person. (Imagine if your fri had a conflict with an outsider, you would be bias too whether or not your fri is right.) Everyone's selfish in a way. I'm tired of reading the white lotus. As long as she's not going out of her ways to torture them, I'm okay with it. That's just how I see. Others may not agree.

They even became great grandparents. 😍 I want to thank the author for including the family interactions between ML, FL, their son and they son's family. Not a lot of authors does, most gave me either the most tragic ending or just leaving it at happily ever after so I really appreciate it. I've never read an ending as complete as this. ML is still a yandere but he's lived a lifetime with MC and you can tell he's eased down a bit. Poor ML, he must have been so lonely & painful in his previous life. (I skipped so much I missed the part where the author explained he was only alive because he had to raise their son. They had a son in previous life, but FL died early & they had a promise to protect the son. U can tell he was living but not not really.) Anyways, we get to see how they peacefully spent their last breath. It was beautiful.
