Ye Xi crossed over into a typical idol romance novel as the villainess.

Very cute story. The main female protagonist is funny and interesting. It's interesting to see how her views developed over time but I wished the author delved more into this. Her interactions with the other characters are also fun too read but I felt like we need more depth on the other characters (or this could be intentional in relation to the theme of the story). Overall, a fun reading experience.

So far, so good. MC transmigrates into a novel based on a school campus, and as it says in the synopsis, the ML can read her mind (it says heart in the novel, but makes more sense if I say mind).

I also like how the author added the original author of the novel the MC transmigrated in, and have them interact.

Translation quality is great, too.

This is actually very interesting. This is a play on the boys over flowers Japanese manga/anime that was made into a drama in Japan, Korea, and Taiwan. F4 gives that away. -very good over dramatic story. The Japanese and Korean versions were good though seeing supposed poor girl in expensive clothing was a bit...... the anime was more true to the story than the dramas.

The MC internal monologues shows how utterly s*upid the actions of the people in the story are. This is a story showing the silliness of idol... more>> dramas. Read for the silliness. Will update after finish reading this. <<less

Hmm... I would’ve given it 5 star because it’s quite witty but I’m settling for 4 cause I can’t score 3.5.

-1 star cause of c96-120. It was just too drastic and out of place from the overall flow and style of the story. I feel the novel didn’t really need something that chilling and cruel. Specially since the novel is taking the humorous and lighthearted route anyway.

-0.5 more cause the novel initially had more potential but alot of things were missed and left loose. Like, whatever was the role of... more>> the shamate guy? An Mudie, the other OG protag, was really just set aside and instead irrelevant characters with different-names-but-same-settings were given more limelight than her. The changes of Ye Xi’s emotions and mentality were also far too simplified, might’ve been better if it was expanded a bit more so the readers would really empathise.

Anyway, the novel really is funny and refreshing 😆 As a former fan of a certain popular tv series, I can really empathise with Ye Xi’s thoughts 😂 Also really liked the twist on Wei Shenlang lol <<less

You might think the summary sounds interesting but the actual story does not live up to the expectations. It started off well but as you progress further it became messy and bizarre. There's no logic behind the actions of our protagonist. Anyway my brain hurt reading this. So I am dropping it.

The novel is pretty good, I liked it plot was a little different than other transmigration stories, I wanted to give it a 5 but couldn't cause there are some plot holes and what disappointed me the most is the unfinished ending

But, for the FL, I would say she isn't the best. She claims to be an aunt, but neither acts or thinks like one, a bit disappointing. As much as I love the story, she's just sadly disappointing.

other than that, a three stars for this! I enjoy this quite a bit. <<less
