She mourned her late husband with the companionship of her designer purses, designer jewelries, and money that could last her several lifetimes.

But only Fu Sinian knew the truth — that after his death, this woman hosted parties, lived in their mansion, drove expensive sport cars, traveled the world, and flirted with men. She was having the time of her life.

Fu Sinian wasn’t so angry that his soul dissipated; quite the contrary, he was so angry that he had come back to life!

It was nice read with misunderstandings and weird situations and circumstances creating the tension required to stir up emotions and relationship between the leads but at the same time they were not dragged down to long period of time. So it was perfect. But it's pity that after everything was back, the novel came to an end. It would have been nice to see their fluffy and cute moments.

This is one of the novels which if you don't read then will regret later. If you like Comedy and Slice of Life genre (of course without the cliché clumsy, airhead FL and yandere ML), this is just what you need.

Our ML, Fu Sinian, is actually a villain. But who was the *hero*? The author didn't mention. It's pretty unnecessary, I guess. Though Mr. Fu is supposed to be cruel and ruthless, but honestly throughout the novel he didn't display that type of mannerisms, on the contrary he was fairly... more>> reasonable and considerate. I mean the main couple had a shot-gun marriage and he was quite ambitious, so should we expect him to be a devoted husband from the start? His shenanigans as a ghost is hilarious. Lol! It's the main attraction of the novel for me. He got fooled by his two-faced wife for three years and how he gets to see her true face is quite comical. And after knowing all this, he instead self-reflects and tries to save their relationship. It's quite rare too among all those alpha dominating cold and prideful MLs. I find it quite refreshing. He respect FL's decision and COMMUNICATE with FL (which doesn't really happen in other novels). Honestly, I would quite like a partner like that.

Though the first interc**rse between ML and FL in the novel is without FL's consent and it can be interpreted as r*pe. But I will not let it bother me in this case cause this thing has fantasy undertone to it. You just have to gloss over it.

Our FL, Yu Duo, has self-preservation. She protects herself but she isn't a selfish one either. Most of the time she's a cool headed sly person who protects her interests first. I like her character. She isn't someone who let their emotions get the better of them. She knows what she wants.

P.S:

What is up with the misunderstanding between Yu Duo and Ah Qi, though?! I laughed soooo hard at that >_<

I couldn't give this a high rating even though I loved the storyline. The story just ended too abruptly and did not give any of the issues a proper closure.

Spoiler

1. FL was transmigrated and there was no proper backstory. The event of them accidentally sleeping together was skimmed through.
2. ML didn't own up that he's the child's father and made FL think she was imp**gnated by his right hand man or some stranger. The super random supernatural effect of him being able to imp**gnate FL via an astral body is just wtf. As if the author just decided to throw that in for some spice.
3. ML was lackluster.

4. FL just suddenly decided to drop her pretense of being a docile wife but the story didn't give it a good transition. And what about her fear of being killed by ML? That just suddenly disappeared?
5. FL did not say that she loves ML.

It is short and therefore many things are not explained, such as the content of the book and the personality of Mls before he became a ghost, so it is difficult to get the perspective and reasoning of FL, but with ah chi's perspective, a lot of things clear up and become belivable because FL isn't s*upid, but she does some s*upid things that would be too awkward otherwise.

In other words, this book has no plot holes, it has BIG omissions that don't really affect the story if you're a... more>> little perceptive

It's nice and fun, I would have liked more fluff, but the leads personalities wouldn't allow it, so I'm glad the author kept the characters consistent.

I'd probably read again just for fun <<less

<spoiler>It was fun reading the first chapter when ML is still a ghost and slowly seeing "new face" of his wife. Until it confused me how the wife became pregnant. It tags Supernatural yep it possible but in the story ML is just ordinary human? How could he done it unless he's demon reicarnate haha </spoiler>

Still I didn't like the misunderstanding between them. Not interesting and infuriating to read. Because of MC hahaha My heart goes to Ah Chi ❤❤❤

A fun read, especially during the first few chapters as we see ML rage over his wife's "mourning" period.

There were lots of moments which made me squeal from cuteness and secondhand embarrassment, and I commend the author for making use of silly misunderstandings that don't go overboard (aka, COMMUNICATION!)

However so, I also have similar complaints as other reviewers, in that the story has LOTS of potential but was underdeveloped in the romance category. Sure, the ML realising his love and all was very cute and touching, but I would've... more>> liked to see the MC clearly realising her own feelings for him.

The matter concerning the child is a little.. Meh. Sure it's a supernatural tale so I guess it's pardoned but at the same time, the baby is simply used as a tool to force the MC and ML together

a light good read. 3☆ for the story and 1☆ for translation =4☆

The ending is rush!! And the villain kind of forgotten in the end.

Ohh and I think the FL fell in love with ML or atleast have some feelings for him but she keeps denying it. The author should have atleast make their feelings clear such a disappointment

i have no idea what to make out of this novel. A lot of misunderstanding that I thought would never end.

1. FL is a transmigrated person though I think throughout the novel saying this is nonsense.

2. Being able to imp**gnate his wife despite having no physical body lol.

The plot of this story had lots of potential but sadly it wasn’t executed well.

I was particularly excited to read this one as I liked the author’s other completed work, but it was just disappointing. Although entertaining to some small degree, but for me, the peak of this story happened early in the novel and that wasn’t even the climax.

The one where the FL is in Paris and accidentally calls out the name of her dead husband because she wanted him to see the double rainbow. The ML glances up at the sky and although she can’t hear or see him, answers, “Yes, I see the rainbow too.”

None of the other scenes in the story was as riveting or as worthy after this one. And that is so disappointing as the author could have done so much more with the pretty plot.

It’s like gawking at a beautifully wrapped gift box and upon opening it, only discovered plot holes and train wreck. <<less
