Huo Yu, a rich second generation with Doraphobia, suddenly became a small kitty cat, and the bound system told her that she was cursed because of her persecution of the Heroine, and that she needed to exchange the female lead’s happiness points to regain her human form

The Heroine of this world happens to be Lin Shuwei, her tortured rival.

MC is so cute as a cat trying to spoil FL by selling meng, and MC as human is so cute how she relentlessly pursuing her wife.

This behavior makes FL misunderstand, thinks MC is in love with her, since she knows MC has an alt that is her biggest fan.

MC has grown up from an arrogant spoiled lady who is forced to spoil FL into a woman who voluntarily spoiling her wife. She's still Tsundere but is more honest with her feeling.

FL works hard to prevent moods swings so MC can always become human instead of a cat, and then works harder to become Movie Queen, and worthy to stand besides MC.

MC makes money for FL by stocks thanks for the system, and they both became Power Couple 1# CP.

Characters

Main Character (Huo Yu)

Initially loves the male lead (a stallion who approaches female lead), leading to her hating the female lead. Abusing her authority as the President of the artist management company to mess with the female lead such as choosing her to play roles of a homewrecker and rejecting good roles.

Her actions will eventually push the female lead towards desperate situations where the male lead will save her and eventually get a generic Happy Ending. However, due to the sudden appearance of a 'cat system', she must make... more>> the female lead happy, else she will forever retain the form of a cat.

The female lead's mood fluctuates so much that the MC would suddenly become a cat all of a sudden as soon as the happiness value reaches negative (sadness or missing the MC, wanting to get intimate, etc. 🙄). Her limited time as a human was counted per hour, not to mention trading pts to retrieve her phone, storing her phone, or the need to purchase clothes when she changes back to a human.

The Female lead (Lin Shuwei)

She does not really have a personality, it is too bland.

Her existence is to mess with the MC, basically being pursued all the way and even overlook the MC's actions of helping her (getting brother to hire doctor to treat her sister, paying her, revised contract with terms beneficial to her) after finding out her initial actions was to not become a cat.

Suddenly towards the last 10 chapters, oh she's suddenly able to control the fluctuations of her mood and deceive the system, she even uses her acting to force the MC to return to her side by "feeling sad". Basically she's happy when the MC is intimate towards her or being good, her insatiable thirst towards the MC will lead to the dropping of happiness value/points

This is a hollow story of a human not wanting to become a cat, pleasing her love rival, even to the point of destroying her own pride in the process. I was waiting for the female lead to respond and grow the relationship, but there's this bullsh*t of the MC literally turning into a catwoman or beast woman due to the excessive amount of times converting her body between human and cat, causing part of her genes to be cat genes.

The system is extremely useless, apart from operating as a store, informing MC of the female lead's mood fluctuations and thoughts, what can it even do? To get rid of the cat genes, the MC requires 10, 000 pts which is seriously impossible as the pts are increasing or decreasing in hundreds... Side effects of cat genes: night vision, younger skin (baby fat), cat-like eyes??, cat ears and tail.. The MC is drinking poison to quench her thirst. When the female lead is starting to pursue the MC, BUT because of bullsh*t catnip, they ***. I was like 'wtf?'. Then the female lead suddenly somehow became a world-renown actress or something. 😒😒😒

Somehow every little action the MC does for the female lead is always being exposed to the internet, since when reporters are so good at snooping?? Then the story ending with both the MC and female lead proposing to each other where they invited all their family and friends yet didn't know about the other's actions, sure. 😒

In conclusion, without the system forcing her to be a cat and a servant to the female lead's desire, they probably won't even get together. The MC rejected female lead's confession and got immediately turned into a cat.... the female lead quits her company, flirts with another actress for months in a romance drama by thinking the other girl as the MC while forcing the MC to remain in cat form and suffer. 🤬

The hopeless pit of the MC's father cutting off her allowance for the sake of the plot to force her to participate in the survival show with the female lead, earning money for the company that is always in the red, sponsoring the female lead roles' in various dramas/movies, building and maintaining the cat shelter...The MC's living a s*ave life throughout the story

I really liked the premise, but the execution was bad.

At the beginning, the story was pretty good. MC didn't have anything specific against FL, she was just emotional and thoughtless because of the guy. Once she was a cat and found out more about the FL, she did seem to feel bad about what she had done and tried to fix it. It may have been triggered by the system, but she did seem remorseful.

Then, the FL secretly finds out about some of the stuff that MC has done for... more>> her, and misunderstands that MC is in love with her. Thus, FL starts to fall as well. Up until here, everything is good.

The problem is the development from here on. Any relationship progress seems to be because the MC is trying to keep FL happy, not because they like her. In the end they do both like each other and end up happy, but it felt like MC had to be with FL to keep FL happy. I think a lot of people have a problem with this part.

All it would have taken to fix this is to show that the MC was falling for FL a bit earlier, before the forced progress. If the author had made it clear that the MC did like the FL, and that they were gradually wanting to make FL happy, then it would have been fine. It wouldn't have seemed so forced. For all I know, that is what was going on in the authors mind and the MC was just being a tsundere, but that wasn't shown in the novel. Otherwise, I would have given it a 5.

Edit: I now found another yuri novel to compare to, but that one did it right. It was called Rose with Snow (MTLed). The MC had a system that forced her to basically flirt with the FL or she would outright die. Each task gave her more hours of life, and eventually she would be free. At first it sounds harsher than this novel, but the system only requires light flirting. While they do go beyond that, it is entirely both of their choice. The system helped things along, but didn't force anything. I wish this novel was more like that. <<less

Extremely cute. It's a romantic comedy kind of story and it really did well with it. I read the whole thing using machine translations so there's some stuff I might be missing, but I'm still giving it a 5/5.

Characters: 5/5

The MC is basically a tsundere and the female lead is really funny and likeable. Being able to tell what she's thinking due to the system giving notifications on her happiness made her relatable, and some of her reactions made me genuinely laugh out loud.

It's a very simple and clear-cut plot, but it's hilarious so I have no issues with it. The premise is all you need to know and the story stuck to it throughout.

Romance: 5/5

It's... really cute. I really don't know what else to say but that it was really cute. I rediscovered my love for tsunderes and honestly I'm not mad about it at all.

I am really looking forward to seeing actual translations of it now that I've basically spoiled everything for myself. <<less

unexpectedly its a good story about the system 006 attempt to fix the predestined fate of the heroine of that novel by cursing its Villain into Cat, the curse would only undo temporarily so long as the Villain manage to make the Heroine Happy.

the character is unexpectedly pretty smart & manage to avoid s*upid decision mostly unlike most Drama Genre of Novel.

the only cons of this novel is the system is way too outrageous & always Pitting the Villain albeit there's no Penalty of the system for MC even if... more>> she do nothing beside unable to revert into human.

the Ending of this novel is Huo Yue marry Lin Shuwei & live happily, honestly I'm truly glad that the system interfere in this story if not the ending of Lin Shuwei will be quite Bittersweet instead of Happy Ending.

Depending on your reading mindset, this is either very sweet or sweetly twisted. I felt it as sweetly twisted. The FL is adorable and proactive. The POV main character's mood and actions are entirely dependent on the actions and mood of the FL, and the FL has more affecting her life. The FL takes on projects and drives plotlines, and the MC tries to help and to keep up. Beyond that things get problematic. If you want to be comfortable then assume that the MC is lying to herself nearly... more>> every sentence. A reasonable take is the MC is lying a lot from the halfway point. Going by just the text this is a scary story.

I love and hate this story and don't know how to rate it. I'll leave this at 4/5. My first impulse was 5/5, too generous but fair if this had no glaring issues. I can't rate it too much lower considering how much I enjoyed the glaring issue in question. My annoyance with the MC's thick head was in so-bad-it's-good territory.

If you take this story literally without making generous assumptions about when the MC lies, and limit it to evidence... This is a fluffy dark comedy (or even psychological horror) where an emotionally immature rich brat is coerced using her phobia, tries to free herself ineptly, she is forced into maintaining a romance with the innocent assertive woman who controls if she gets confined, and the brat's Stockholm Syndrome grows greater. I don't think this is what the author intended but it's all that's in the text.

MC didn't get into this relationship for healthy reasons, her actions didn't deserve FL's affection early on, the FL's advances are costly to deflect, she usually thinks of the FL as just a happiness score to maximize, and MC's desperation and obsession lead to love. Though even with a dark take Huo Yu was so spiteful in the past and averted-future that she very well could deserve this as punishment, rehabilitation, and restitution (towards Lin Shuwei). Blame the System.

If you (rightly?) assume the narration is usually lying and tsundere... This a fluffy comedy about a dense rich brat incessantly lying to herself with the narration's support, she is coerced into supporting an actress who she eventually wants to help even without a system (unclear), the actress courts her, this leads to the former brat intentionally becoming a flirty wife-fan using the System as an excuse (unclear), and her pride gradually breaks down so she can love (unclear). This is presumably the author's intention and requires you to not just read between-the-lines but for you to project the idea of tsundere and your own expectations.

You have to assume the POV character has whatever emotions are convenient to the narrative, no matter what the POV writing and even narration tells you. The only early hints are heart throbbing. We barely have evidence Huo Yu is even capable of goodwill toward others without it being an exchange.

The very end of the story is fast, there are small plot holes throughout, usual genre issues like unrealistic ages and vague entertainment industry tropes, and other flaws. The premise didn't require the setting.

I do not like being forced to assume a character is a stereotype for something to make sense, I tried anyhow, failed, and I still had fun with it being dark and misleading.

Up to the very end the text never helped me out. The lingering uncertainty and quick ending undermined the healing feeling a bit. It's a good end... but... I can't escape the feeling I'm cheering for brainwashing because it benefited the female lead.

I was going to wait for the translation to finish but the story was just so cute to me hahah that in the end I read the whole thing even if it's MTL. It's still readable, if you're pedantic though haha it's irritating. If you are going to seriously read it then there will be big flaws in the story. For me, I just enjoyed the fluffiness and cuteness of the yuri couple here.

I'm sure we've all read this type of dog blood novel, where an overbearing president with a fiance suddenly becomes attracted to a poor, hardworking heroine. Then after many trials and tribulations, gets to dump to the jealous fiance and get together...

If you're like me then you'd know how many times I wished for the two main female leads to get together and dump the slag ML. And this novel did just that!!

This novel's plot is that Huo Yu is the vicious female character of a novel, until one day... more>> she turns into a cat and can only turn back into a human when our heroine (Lin Shuwei) is happy.

From then a romance between the two is borne.

This novel was highly entertaining with fluff, a lil jealousy (which is resolved right away, don't worry), cats, CP fans, another Yuri side couple, a BG side couple, etc.

I finished this in one sitting and I'm so happy about it. Its a quick 66 chapters and the MTL was really easy to read.

This is my first experience of reading yuri. And this experience turned out to be a failure.

I chose this story by rating and tags. Alas, I remained completely indifferent to the characters. Moreover, I got tired of them. I didn’t notice any progress in the feelings of the heroines. While reading, I had the feeling of swinging on a swing: you seem to be moving, but you are staying in the same place, back and forth and again. Personally, I saw absolutely no romance, no love here. There is no... more>> feeling that they will be together in life at all. For them it sees just a temporary piece of life with each other until the right person turns up, most likely a man. Why a man? The author absolutely failed to show the birth of love and desire for a female body. You don't believe the characters, you don't feel their desire for each other. There only were words about desire, but there was no desire, there was no passion. When there were about 10-11 chapters left until the end, I dropped it.

I didn't lower the stars too much though, maybe it's just not my cup of tea. <<less

This... actually good the first 20 chapters are slow paced and made me want to quit reading a little bit.

But chapters 30 till the end made me smile.

I used my braincells and with the power of google translate and DeepL just to read it... Man even JP/KR novel didn't made me use MTL.... or its just because the its a short story..

5/5 would read it again when the TL's are back or when I don't have anything to read or just forgotten what the story is about.

This is so cute!!! The MC loves the ML so much and doesn't realize it and the ML is really cute. She decides everything on her own and interprets all of the MCs wrongly. The MC is gradually discovering how sweet the ML is and the ML is convincing herself that she's misunderstood the MC this whole time. And there's cats too! Anything with cats is bound to be cute, don't you think!?

It’s fluffy and kinda sweet. Nearly the perfect length too. However, I do wish the MC’s feelings had been alluded to better during the early stages. The story felt very coercive with the system driving everything for far too long.

The story was funny, I have a lot loved MC, she’s funny, not dumb, she’s a tsun but honest with her sentiments sometimes. There are also the relationship with her best friend both together are hilarious. FL was not bad, just her mood who’s fluctuate a lot don’t be fooled by her she’s mentally perverse sometimes thinking a bout Huo yu (MC) .

However I didn’t like how it ended, no sequel, it ended so suddenly.

This series has such an interesting and unique plot; I personally think that there was both a main plot and a hidden one.

The main plot? This was obviously about how Lin Shuwei tries to reach new heights in her career and become a better version of herself while keeping her dignity and principles intact, eventually getting together with her lover.

I wonder what could have gone wrong in the original plot such that ‘a reader’ was actually transmigrated into the book. What went wrong in this world that required a transmigrator... more>> to set the world back to normal? This is where it gets so unique. The ‘reader’ who was all-knowing and all-seeing, and should have become the “new MC, ” was turned into a black lotus and cannon fodder instead... very interesting.

The hidden plot? It seems like there were two systems fighting in the dark to control this world. One had summoned ‘a reader’ to this world, and despite not giving her a system or support (this remained unknown), she got the advantage of knowing the original plot. The other had changed Huo Yu into a cat as a counterattack... 【System 006: let me see what the hell can you do if you cannot find the villainess and use her to torture the FL.】I feel like my imagination got the better of me 😂.

Well, anyway, this series focuses more on the sit/com and rom/com rather than a conflict plot, but it could have been better if the ‘reader’ was used to cause more drama. Also, their love life was so rushed that I felt Huo Yu’s cat brain wasn’t able to keep up with it. She was pretty much in denial about their relationship until the last 2−3 chapters. I get it that she was a tsundere, but still felt it was unnecessary. <<less
