Goodness, I've been on a binge for idol novels and damn, did this one hit the spot!

First of all, I have to give my kudos to the translator who has done a wonderful job! The translation is completely understandable and easy to read, which can be hard to kind in this genre I feel...

As for the novel itself, I really like it! Im not super far along yet, but I like the pacing and find myself genuinely liking the main character. He spiraled into a complete mess after what... more>> happened with his family, understandably so, and you can fell his broken heart through the author's narration. It certainly didn't help that he felt genuine regret and sorry towards the people he hurt with his behavior during his spiraling. It makes me really want to root for him, and seeing how hard working and determined he is makes it really easy to wish him the best!

The system type entity responsible for sending him back in time is ABSOLUTELY hilarious. It's so snarky and continually makes fun of the MC while also encouraging him. And total tsundere lmao

All in all, it's a great read, and while it makes your heart twinge with his past, it's still a pretty light hearted read and overall very enjoyable! I really hope more people read this so I have people to chat about it with lol.

What a beautiful, beautiful novel. Our MC is very smart and charismatic. His past is very unfortunate, and it makes you think about how koreans see their idols. He's quite the black horse in the competition, without many people watching his potential.

You can see how much he likes his teammates, and wants to watch them grow. I even read ahead!

A fun read so far.

The flow is great, I read it all in one sitting. The plot is OK, nothing groundbreaking but interesting enough you engaged. The MC and the AI are fun to read with a unique dynamic that's entertaining to follow. It has left me very interested in following where it goes. The translation is great, there's even footnotes to explain Korean lingo rather than just direct translations that may make some translations odd. Thank you and please keep up the good work.

My requirements for a good novel... more>> are simple, be entertaining without controversial content. Controversy, for me, often makes a good read excessively complex and convoluted cause they have to address every controversial thing which I have absolutely ZERO interest in. I read wuxia/lightnovels/webnovels etc for entertainment. This is not to mean it can't be thought provoking. It's just exhausting getting through entire arcs with zero relation to the plot summary. <<less

It's good so far. I like how the protagonist takes reasonable risks to suceed. He isn't OP and has to work hard but I like his dynamics with the cast. If you like Idol stories of resolving regrets then give it a try.

this is one of my favorite idol novels!! The plot's a pretty average one with typical regression back into an idol survival show, but I think the MC Chunyong has a charming personality that just makes you want to root for him!

Also big plus is that the translation IS AMAZING!!!! Like I see a lot of mtl these days but seriously rollingbanana is the best so much love

Very good! Really enjoy this, MC is legitimately trying to right his wrongs-- he had a hard life in his first go round and he has this chance to not fck it up.

Better than failed idol. At least I was able to enjoy reading it without feeling irrate.

Though, how the heck MC company left MC alone without therapy for so long and causing so much trouble in the original timeline is a mystery. It's just doesn't make sense no matter how the author is trying to justify what was happening to the MC which lead to the following plot. Hopefully it will be made sense with more chapters.

This is a great idol story with a lot of heart and entertainijg characters! We follow Chunyong, an infamous "malicious member" of a popular idol group. He's and alcoholic and gets into constant scandals. But that all started when his entire family was killed in an accident after his debut, and he was the only survivor.

After being arrested, he passed out and is offered a chance to go back to the past and fix everything through the survival show that started it all. He works his bu*t off to get... more>> his skills back, and we meet our colorful cast of characters, (some of which are malicious). I've quickly fallen in love with all these trainee.

I really really love this novel, I even binged read this like!!! Oh my goddd!! It's totally a hidden gem. At first I thought it just a idol novel but my gaddd!! It does suit my tastes and the MC super lovable😭 he has a high EQ and IQ and he's super funny lolol. Novels with oblivious MC is quite cute but we need a new environment for once 👊 I really love him. I would have liked this novel if the novel wouldn't go from present to past to present quite often. I often would need to back track myself whether what I'm reading was the past or the present. I stopped reading afterwards since the back and forth memories of the MC is just making me annoyed. Like, it breaks the flow of the current story whenever MC remembers past scenes in-between the current events.
