I liked it until it went from apocalypse to sci-fi and Outerspace. Adding in the sci-fi and Outerspace element is just WAY too much... she also becomes way too OP. I mean her companions don't even compare and nothing is a challenge for her anymore. I want to read stories where the MC struggles and has to face real challenges and heartbreak. No more MC halo or OP guardian angle. Let her lose a finger, have scars, and forever lose companions we come to love. That's way more real!!

I don't know what's the point of her hoarding everything in her space and making so much prep only for her to not really use any of it and go around with the gang trying to loot supermarkets for things she already has. What's the reason for her even mingling with others when she has it all planned out.

SUMMARY: The FL, Lan Ke, is a reborn heroine. She lived as cannon fodder in her previous life, having only received a pitiful sensory ability, she was drained of all her usefulness by her father and her stepmother until she eventually died. Next thing she knew, not only did she wake up a month or so before the apocalypse, but there was also a trading system inside of her head that allowed her to trade with people from other worlds (this includes cultivation worlds, which means that, although the setting... more>> in her world is Alien Apocalypse with alien monsters and superhumans with random abilities, this novel also has typical xianxia elements).

Moving forward... the FL doesn't really have a goal after being reborn. She had already gotten revenge in her previous life, so her only true desire is to live and live better than before (which is pretty easy with the SYSTEM and the benefits that come with it). Anyway, it's kind of messy. Her motivations and personality are all over the place. Definitely not comprehensive at all. As for the ML, he's a mysterious rich trader from another world who inexplicably provides her with a lot of benefits and then later joins her party after transferring to her world.

THOUGHTS: I now see why the rating for this novel is so low XD. The FL is the cool and powerful type, which is a bit too boring. It's like how... even if I like to read danmei, the most preferred POV is the Shou rather than the Gong. Mainly because the Gong is usually depicted as overbearing/stoic -- AKA, unapproachable -- and powerful. Anyway, this kind of main POV character is too dull to keep reading about since they can pretty much overcome anything they want. Making all of the conflicts seem purposeless. Of course, that's not to say that Gong POV novels are generally bad. But, in those cases, the author usually balances the dullness of the POV with humor, complex character development, etc. The author of this novel doesn't do anything like that. So all you can do is watch an unapproachable and overly powerful heroine facing so-called "hardships" endlessly.

OVERALL, It's hard to empathize with her, and even more difficult to continue reading the novel for the purpose of seeing her journey/ending. Of course, if you're the type of reader that's in it for that easy-win and the overly powerful heroine kicking ass and taking names, then you'll probably enjoy this novel a lot! OTHERWISE, you can just stick to it because of the setting like I did XD. The worldbuilding for this novel, while a bit messy, was enough to keep me interested for a while. The ML was also a bit interesting at first, but his inexplicable interest in the FL was too convenient, and he's already starting to act like he's in love after their first meeting. It's too bad, BUT, anyway, I gave up. I'll try to reread it again one day. Maybe with lowered expectations, I can enjoy it a bit more. <<less
