The novel is so good that I MTLed the rest and binged it until I didn't realize I already reached the end. It also made me login and post a review just to raise the ratings on this gem.

I really like the fluffiness and lightness of the novel. It's realistic and really shows how two people get together, albeit with the help of a system. (Though I think the system should be called Matchmaking System instead haha)

OMG this is so cuuuute. Funny too. Translations are good and website is easy to navigate as well. I so enjoy this story and am looking forward to seeing our lovable MC again. God the notGu girl is so annoying. I am also happy that we see a lot of regular daily interaction with ML that isn't abusive

One of my favorites on here.

This story is all about a woman with a system who gets her happy ending. Along the way, all the antagonists suffer from karma with nearly all of them having some manner of character growth. The Main antagonist gets her karmic retribution handed out repeatedly.

The MC, Gu Shishi, is a transmigrator who popped into the novel she read as the villainess who wants to marry the Original-ML. She arrives just as the original was about to jump out of a closet at the Original-ML but... more>> knew that was a path towards her own death so she chose to switch the plot and hook up with the Original-ML's older brother, the ML, instead. This prompts the system to begin giving her tasks to level up the affection with the ML and others. In exchange, she will increase her already impressive painting skills.

The ML, Huo Shishen, is the older brother of the Original-ML, and has been abandoned by his family as his mother (and grandmother) view him as a curse and the reason his father and grandfather died. He was abandoned by them pretty early in his life so he has ended up with some severe emotional scarring. At first, he decides to chase the MC away as all of his previous fiances have ended up dying, but he develops a rather major misunderstanding about her which prompts him to push their engagement along a lot faster. Cold and domineering, he is a bit EQ stunted with people but he is a business genius.

One thing about this novel is that both the MC and ML have shitty immediate families (ML does have an awesome sister, but she is just childish and rebellious at the first) who never saw much value in them. As the story progresses, we learn that the MC was found but looked nothing like a SGR girl so her father pushed her into the hands of the ML. Throughout the story, neither of her parents ever call her or look for her unless they need to do something based on what their adopted daughter wants (to the point that the mother didn't even realize the MC had changed her WeChat alias).

The mother and grandmother eventually realize they did something wrong but there was no turning back. It takes special paintings by the MC that make them face their grief and the utter failing of the Original-ML to realize that they had done the ML wrong. Of course, there is nothing they can do about it at that point because it had been so long since they abandoned the ML.

They especially realize it when the ML has a son and they aren't allowed near the child (they also make no effort to show up even though they want to). Instead, they pester the ML's sister for information but she doesn't really have any to give them.

The main antagonist of this is the adopted daughter who feels threatened by the MC. She does everything in her power to step on the other woman, even trying to keep her from being accepted by the other SGR girls. She is very much the typical white lotus kind of character with no redeeming qualities.

Her end is pretty entertaining even if it wasn't really enough.

From the beginning, she arranged things to make it seem like the MC is a terrible person. For example, the Antagonist set it up so that the MC would be sent to the ML without any clothes to fit her and then blamed it on the servant. Then she told everyone that the MC was the one who got the servant fired.

The icing on the cake is when she convinced her adoptive mother to give her all the shares from her adoptive father after they divorced and then demanded he give her the pharmaceutical company by threatening to turn in evidence of her father giving gifts (bribes) to officials.

In the end, she ends up getting conned and having to sell her company for cheap to the ML's company only to realize that it was the MC who was going to now own it.

The system doesn't really have as much of a personality in this as it does in other stories but it does help push the pair together. Plus it heightens the MC's ability to paint, even giving her nearly supernatural abilities. It was also nice with this story that the MC isn't good at everything. Painting is really her only skill (she does cook but she's just average about it).

While she never confides in the ML that she's not the original and it's never explained why she transmigrated (I'm guessing it's to save the ML but that's just me), the story was fairly enjoyable. Only weird part was their son being super capable of gauging the value of art goods. <<less

The faceslapping and drama was interesting enough and not too crazy. The story has very stereotypical East Asian beauty standards incorporated very blatantly into it but if you’re okay with that, this story is fun to pass the time - it’s a cliche story. The tags are pretty accurate. <<less

Honestly, I enjoyed this, it's an easy read even with some plot holes and author sometimes forgetting details. FL (Gu Shishi) became Mary Sue due to system but can't complain bc she needs it plus she's really talented painter and funny/bright.... while CEO ML (Huo Sichen) was initially cold and his "curse rumors" made him distant but he is actually good and doted on FL. The development of relationship of FL with ML and others were also good with many sides having realizations for better.

The system was too useful that... more>> sometimes it became annoying bc of too much mission and basically forceful on FL's quests.

Reminder: If you can't separate fiction vs reality especially in terms of lookism and beauty standard. Better to not read this. <<less

First off, the one star rating has nothing to do with the translation but everything to do with the story itself. That being said, by god this story was unbelievably boring and kinda depressing. It’s repetitive and convoluted and there’s really nothing new brought to the oversaturated transmigration genre.

Im not a big fan of transmigration stories that involve a system and honestly this story made me like it much much less. It was pointless and annoying more than it was helpful. Gu Shishi became a s*ave to it, which I... more>> guess was the point but seriously it made her come off dumber that normal to outsiders. And the fact that her fake a** sister is still able to pull several schemes over her despite having the advantage of knowing the story beforehand.

Not a single character was likeable or relatable in my opinion including the equally gullible MC and ML. Frankly the length of the story was way too long and a pretty big waste of time. <<less

Great novel 😎 Binge read it in one go. Characters are well rounded and storyline flows smoothly with great comedy and romance timing. No unnecessary angst or dragging storyline. Truly a hidden gem 💎

It took me 6 days to finished reading this novel. What a rollercoaster...

It was truly Great novel! The development in relationship between MC and ML was pretty steady. The system was truly useful! If there's no system, MC could misunderstood lots of things from ML's steel heart and yet fragile mentality.

The System itself I think what make people either like this novel or dislike it. It make MC Physically Perfect every time she did her missions 'sincerely'. But it also gave quite few ridiculous missions. But sometimes System can be... more>> wise and told MC about genuine actions etc. Though MC herself never actually act like she do things JUST for mission. Except the obvious that is TO STAY ALIVE. For other upgrades, she accepts them but never just depends on it. Anyway our MC is already Great Character, and her life is smoother with System's 'help'.

MC priorities ML's wellbeing so much since she think ML is such a Tsundere. Never doubt it!

While ML... He really interesting. His way of thinking can be so Off and Unique. But the point is he's Mensao. Caring about the people he cares about. And never wronged his employees either.

All side characters are truly Fun!

It's not such black and white. Some mild Villains get their Redemption that we actually LOVE and GLAD to see!

But some tr*sh don't deserve it... Heh!

Anyway, while things between MC and ML not develop fast not smooth, they barely bumpy. The bad kind of misunderstanding didn't last long. Not even last 1 chapter (in the real actual format I'm sure).

I really enjoyed this! It was fluffy and entertaining. The FL/MC does not give a f*ck about a lot of the drama other than enjoying it as a spectator and I loved that.

Honestly the novel seemed like largely wish fulfillment for the author. A system that makes your body perfect and beautiful, becoming artistically talented and famous, etc. Yeah those 'improvements' in beauty reflect toxic beauty standards but I wouldn't say the character herself is toxic. And her art cheats are cheats but it is also stated how hard she... more>> worked for most of her original life on art. So the system beauty and art cheats didn't bother me too much because of those elements.

Certain things remained a bit unresolved and there are other scenes I would have loved to have seen portrayed. But overall the plot is wrapped up and the story made me laugh out loud and binge read it. Considering that, I definitely recommend it. <<less

this was a funny and fluffy novel. There were some frustrating misunderstandings which, in my opinion, stemmed from immaturity of both MC and ML but itself out. Yes, there were cliches everywhere but most stories now have cliches in them and the trick is how to utilize those cliches and make them seem new. All in all this was fun read.",)

It’s a very sweet cute and fluffy novel... not much drama... it’s more of a slice of life and the novel is focusing on having the FL live a good life with the ML. All the villains gets retribution but it’s not really bringing any satisfaction because FL life is so filled with happiness already. Plus, she has no active hand in their retribution. It’s a lot of clichés and system is a god assist. Still I enjoyed the romance part.
FL is cute and a bit silly. ML is typical cold president with germophobia.

It’s a nice read to change from all those drama intense novel and it’s not too long.

It was a entertaining, cliche, funny, fluffy love story.

The overall premise is well executed, all the check list was fulfilled and the result was satisfying.

The FML is a common Mary Sue, the ML is OP from the very beginning and all the villains were plain, straight-up s*upid.

I would say that the cheats the fML got were extremely unfair to all women, especially the ones for the pregnancy, but it suited the personality of the character and were mostly aimed towards getting the ML love, so they weren't infuriating imo. The... more>> system played Cupid, basically. Although it did feel uncomfortable thinking that a lot of their relationship was founded on the benefits of the system, eventually, the feelings were real.

The misunderstandings between the main couple are hilarious, and the author sometimes made the fML appear like a bimbo to appeal the ML doting side but it was still enjoyable.

A good story to pass the time and relax. <<less

A cute, fluffy novel about transmigration and system. No dog-blood drama, enough karma coming back, happy ending and OPness. After reading I felt good, full of positivity and not much sense of a loss.

Translation: 7/10

... more>> There were some noticeable grammar errors as well as punctuation errors. If possible I would recommend the translator to edit those and it would jump straight to 10/10 as the explanations and pictures are very helpfully added to the text.

Plot:

+transmigration and system

+FL is OP (but it is not the kind where I would go wtf, just enough fluff in the novel to make it work)

+I liked the misunderstanding of the ML about the psychological state of FL

+no dog-blood, still those who were supposed to regret - regret their actions

+FL doesn't go the "I will take over the family that abandoned me and get revenge on all who are against me" route. She can be slightly rational. She can be cool with things and doesn't let her emotions control her actions when smb is not all over her

+system appears when it is needed and works really well in the novel (we do know it is there for most of the novel)

+there are funny and fluffy parts that make it an enjoyable read

+/-ML is a bit tsundere and has psychological issues. Those are solved too quick and smoothly for real world, but in this story it is acceptable (indeed, refocusing works sometimes)

-it is very optimistic and all goes smoothly. This makes it a nice read BUT beware: that is not how real life works for most people! You were warned ;)

Enjoyable read! Nice ‘system’ that gives you beauty upgrades and skills. Tsundere ML who was ostracised by his close relatives for being a jinx. Sweet transmigrated FL that I think could have developed along without the fantastical elements of a system and transmigration. Too bad the often hilarious side twin characters Siyi and Siyer disappeared towards the end.

This novel plot is every girl fantasy world and men too! When a girl just can be filter ready looks and fantastic body and god level cheat to enhance your talent! And for ML the “perfect “girl who is designed from body to needs that most compatible and just for him?
From some cliche transmigrated, ceo theme plots, super rich doting husband and everyday fluff and perfect lives, I really enjoyed this novel. Lol. The chapter seem alot but actually very short. Binge read it for only 2 days. The side characters are cute and doting, the bullies become good friends, even there are some s*upid relatives, they may be braindead for awhile, but later seem to be woken up with regret. Not much dogblood or big drama. Even the face slapping were mild. Just enjoy this fantasy story with “ I wish I had that kind of golden finger system “ vibe. Thank you

It was okay. A good/positive okay for me. In the early chapters, I was somewhat off with the ML because of his attitude but when I got to know his background and childhood, it made sense. The FL for me is cute. Not the fragile cute but the cute-cute. I don't know if you get it but that's just how I see her. She's talented with or without the system's power.
I think what I'm confused of til the end is how the rumors of the ML came to be. I'm not sure if I missed it or it's just not mentioned but the details about the accusations of him being cursed was not explained? It's like one day his father and grandpa died and he's automatically faulted and accused of being the jinx. And the deaths, illnesses, and even accidents after were even coincidental and or plotted. It doesn't make sense? All along I thought there was some kind of conspiracy behind it but it was never thoroughly explained.

First of all, I don't think reading 20 chapters, even reading 20 chapters in Fringe or Fuyu's website gives you enough input to rate the novel so low. This novel is great. It is a little too Mary Sue and a bit narcissistic but very enjoyable. What I like is that she does not completely rely on the system. The system rewards her with skills to help her paint, but the result is not completely dependent on the system. She really has talent and passion. The system helps her by... more>> helping her visualize and transfer feelings into the paintings. And why some of the rewards are to make her more beautiful, I think it's to help her get closer to the ML. The system helped her look more delicate to help the ML empathize with her, and some scents to help him sleep.

What I like is that the system helped them get closer and they fell in love on their own. There's also a lot of face slapping but the MC is not conceited nor vengeful.

Don't get swayed by the low ratings and give this novel a try. <<less
