Overall it was quite heartwarming to read how MC dealt with his rejections, I felt similar to him to being rejected and it also helped me to get over my break-up with X-grill.
For my first review on NU to be about this novel-I have no regrets. For those of you who were like me and were precautious after looking at the reviews with the "NTR" complaints don't worry it isn't your typical NTR. The Author uses it in the beginning to set the punchline for him (e.g he meets a harem member gets acquainted confesses to them and then a misunderstanding occurs because they couldn't get their words out properly. He gets hit with a surge of nausea due to the event between him and his childhood friend aria (whom I personally hate.) and runs off to the day after mañana. And in case you're wondering YES he does confront her (Aria, who left him.) After acquiring a WONDERFUL set of harem members which includes goddesses and fellow yanderes, during the very first confrontation after 196 chapters yes folks we get to see some much deserved ass kicking from your overpowered protagonist to this so called "hero" who stole her from him. It's funny, entertaining and believe it or not as a fellow novel reader of countless stories, it had some aspects of first encounters for me that I've yet to even experienced while reading a story. Read it, honestly there's nothing much to say besides that it's an extremely wonderful story. If you can get past the immaturity that the protagonist shows every so often (which I say so myself is pretty funny and interesting) then this story will be wonderful. Hell let's stop lying here and just admit you're all here to find a damn story to read so in my "Shia LaBeoufs" inpersonation-JUST DO IT
Reason to Dislike-
Repetitive theme (Go to new place, fall in love with woman/women nigh immediatly, get to know people around the place, brute force anything that opposes which causes the woman/women to fall in love, solve big problem (s) in the area, and run away after misunderstandings happen between him and the woman/women. Add in some comedy here and there and you get the idea), 'Bland Harem Members' (Woman/Women have some problems they can't solve, MC shows up and solves it, woman/women fall in love and chase after MC to fix misunderstanding (s) that happen along the way. Once they find him, +1 to Harem and proceed to either 1-Be thirsty for MC, 2-Be jealous of other harem members when they're spoiled by MC, or 3-Give generic replies (if they even reply.)) Beta MC (MC runs away from rejection, when he faces a woman he's shy or an idiot, won't love the harem until he settles things with Aria (Holy Woman childhood friend who left him for the hero) and even when he's supported by his harem he's cowardly at times.) and lastly Too Much Comedy Replacing Story (There are full chapters that are running gags like the bandits.)
Reasons to Like-
Provides a proper and realistic reason for the MC to have an actual trauma which does give him some character (Aria the Holy Woman aka Childhood Friend who he WAS ENGAGED TO (when they were 12 yeah, but they were to get married at 15) until she goes off to fight with the hero a year after and falls in love with the hero. Yes... it's NTR... Then 2 years later the MC finds out that she came back after the demon lord is dead and sees her kissing the hero in an ally... and it's his 15th BDay... So yeah he's got a trauma. A NORMAL GUY found the love of his life kissing another dude in secret. Big surprise, it's a trauma.) The comedy is gold (Cheesy comedy is gouda) and personally my favorite, EVERYONE'S A HUMAN (It may be hidden but the vast majority of character that are introduced by name have human desires (I need to reread to confirm if there's some that weren't named), abiet some seem shallow but it's realistic in how it shows different people's humanity.
Still waiting for the LN version to be translated as supposedly it's fairly different... PLEASE!the "OP ONE SHOT ANYTHING" is focused on and always the same "whos this clown? he looks scruffy" "OOOH HE JUST ONESHOT I DONT BELIEVE THIS" +1 Harem member obtained.

- The main character is given personality early on, but he is inconsistent with his own character at times.
Disclaimer I've grown out of harem this this might be somewhat bias.
