Cha Min-jun was popular at school with his handsome appearance and affectionate personality. Even in Beta times, he appeared to be the ideal Alpha that everyone dreamed of.

One day, Na Do-hwa encounters Min-jun’s true identity. He was standing in the middle of a group of bloodied men, holding a blunt weapon, looking like he was crazy about killing.

“Did you see that?”

Do-hwa was terrified as he tried to escape but got caught. He wakes up with a fever after spending the night with him.

Do-hwa, who is scared of Min-jun, tries to get out of the situation by pretending to have amnesia, but…

“W, who are you?”

“This is so unfortunate, but we were meeting on the premise of marriage, and we were supposed to have a ceremony when you graduate.”

A meeting on the premise of marriage? Aren’t they just seonbae and hubae?

“We were also living together.”

Do-hwa just lived alone in a semi-bas**ent room. As if that weren’t bad enough, he manifests as a Recessive Omega and is subjected to Min-jun’s unusual harassment.

Do-hwa wants to know what’s going on in his mind, so he pretends to be fooled by his crazy lies, but as the days go by, he finds himself in a situation where he wouldn’t be surprised if Min-jun had a child.

If he gets pregnant, he’ll be in trouble, but can he get away with it?

Do-hwa tries to keep his mind clear, but he’s still obsessed with him. Do-hwa wants to get away from Min-jun, but he doesn’t hate him.

Can Na Do-hwa be able to escape Cha Min-jun?

UPDATE: Original review up to ch 30, updated review to ch 97, and now updated completed review, still 4 stars though caveat that the ending is rushed and story feels a bit incomplete and badly in need of an epilogue or extras. Updated reviews beneath old reviews.

4 stars so far: This is a solidly-within-its-genres read, complete with beta transitioning to omega, a surface-sweet alpha that is possessive, cunning, and manipulative, scum family problems, college life, etc., spiced up with some suspense. The high-spec ML's mysterious identity and violent/mu*derous tendencies and... more>> the average-joe MC's cluelessness/denial are exactly what you'd expect. This could translate scene for scene straight into a manhwa, and since I read a lot of BL and ABO comics, I find this story to be very straightforward. The translation is also good, though as a person whose first language is English I find many of the footnotes superfluous since they often explain/define pretty normal English words. (On the other hand, for those for whom English is a second language, such footnote definitions could be helpful.)

I'd rank this story as pure entertainment based on genre conventions: You know what you're going to get, and if that's what you want, then it's good. It hits all the expected notes and does it well, even if it's not particularly creative or unique. The fake amnesia aspect and the MC being probably some kind of assassin or mafia along with the ABO elements add enough interest and suspense to what is otherwise an as-you'd-expect story (which isn't a bad thing in itself), particularly as the big question mark for the reader is whether the ML knows the MC is faking amnesia, and how the MC is going to get himself out of an ever-deepening hole of a relationship—which because of the genre, well, you know he ain't never gonna escape, but how exactly things will pan out is the ultimate question.

I don't doubt that some people will hate on the MC being a doormat as far as his awful family is concerned and for being kind of dense about a lot of things involving the ML, but these things actually didn't bother me as they're not unrealistic. Family relationships can be very complicated but that said, yeah, I was very annoyed by how the MC accepts how his family treats him, I just don't blame or hate him for it even if I do roll my eyes. And as far as the ML goes, I do feel like the MC is a very average guy who got trapped by a psycho (I can't believe I wrote that before remembering the title but there ya go) and honestly, between the wealth, power, ABO dynamics, and other disparities, the MC is just struggling to stay afloat rather than escape the current.

About the MC's behavior/attitude toward the ML as the story plays out so far:

Spoiler

I appreciate that, density aside, the MC doesn't instantly fall in love with the ML and initially thinks he's a just a nice guy without personally finding him romantically or sexually attractive (though of course he can see that the ML is hot). And after the drama hits the fan, he's alarmed and wary and does want to get away and actually tries to do so, even if he's also confused by the ML's apparent affection and suspicious of his motivations.

[collapse]

Also, if typical ABO dubcon and related s*xual tropes aren't your cup of tea, don't read this story. It's not as violently r*pey as other stories but so far there is either no overt consent or there is only manipulated-consent/dubious consent, i.e. pretty typical omegaverse stuff.

UPDATE up to chapter 97: Just updating my review to say that everything I said in the original still stands, in the same good-as-expected-of-the-genre way. There is a lot more sm*t later on of the same typical reluctant-omega-in-heat, sometimes with a little more dubcon edge and sometimes with a little less.

The plot has been feeling a bit like it's dangling too many teasers without enough solid answers by this point, so I hope we get some more actual reveals soon. Not that there aren't reveals, implications, clues, and foreshadowing, of course, but the non-romance plot stuff involving Min-jun's identity seems like it's dragging its feet.

As far as poor Do-hwa's bewildered relationship with Min-jun goes, it's still as-expected in all the tropey-but-satisfying-for-the-genre ways, with the genres being romance, thriller, and omegaverse—but not psychological/dark despite how easily it could go down that route. I, uh, don't think poor Do-hwa has the depth for dark psychological, lol, ahem. Here's a little lightly-spoilery-but-not-too-detailed summary of how the amnesia stuff is going by this point:

Spoiler

Do-hwa: I have amnesia! (I hope Min-jun doesn't realize I'm faking it.)

Min-jun: Oh my, poor seonbae, don't worry, I'll take good care of you.

Do-hwa: (... does he realize I'm faking amnesia? Oh god I hope he doesn't know I'm faking amnesia. I can't tell.)

Min-jun: *private conversation with someone else*

Do-hwa: *eavesdrops* (Oh no! He knows I'm faking amnesia! But as long as he doesn't know that I know that he knows, maybe I can muddle through!)

Min-jun: And how are we today, my dear sweet seonbae?

Do-hwa: EVERYTHING IS FINE, AND I AM WELL, MY MEMORY HAS NOT YET RETURNED. (... does he know that I know that he knows?)

Min-jun: How absolutely wonderful. Let's do the horizontal tango all night.

Do-hwa:... (I can't tell. Also, I'm still scared of him but also I have strange feelings toward him. What are these feelings? I don't understand! Even though it's totally obvious that I'm attracted to him and slowly developing feelings but also I'm still very reasonably terrified of him and want to escape, but also I dunno why I think sometimes he's just so sweet and I want to be with him but oh god he's a mu*derer and what if he kills me too arrrgh!)

I will say that Do-hwa's confused thoughts and emotions teetering between attraction and fear are a bit more interesting than the typical, in that he's sort of really ignorant about his own attraction and doesn't recognize it, while the fear and suspicion remain at the forefront most of the time. So it's not the typical "omg I love him but I'm also scared", it's a more atypical "I am developing strange feelings but I'm also legit terrified."

It's also more interesting a portrayal in that there are times when Min-jun doesn't do anything particularly crazy and Do-hwa gets lulled into a sense of security and forgetting his terror, and then BAM Min-jun will whip out a gun and blood will spill and Do-hwa will be like "HOLY SH*T HOW COULD I FORGET HE'S CRAZY" and resume being terrified.

[collapse]

I can safely say that Do-hwa has devolved from "hapless all-too-average protagonist" caught up in the claws and machinations of a far stronger and very dangerous yandere, into the next level down of "hapless all-too-average idiot protagonist", where he makes quite a lot of dumb predictably stereotypical decisions like "Min-jun told me not to go out, not to drink, and not to meet my friend that he dislikes, but I'm sure it'll be fine if I sneak out just this once to meet my friend and I won't drink... oh my friend already ordered me a beer, I guess I'll just have to drink it... " or comes up with brilliant ideas to make Min-jun break up with him by badly cooking him an overly-seasoned meal, or... yeah, Do-hwa seems to be shedding brain cells as the story goes on though because everything fits into the typical romance-tropes. I'm not annoyed, just a bit eye-rolly.

Min-jun's yandere behavior and kinks do gradually escalate over time, which poor dumb Do-hwa struggles with but generally sort of just reluctantly accepts because he has no choice or tries to find ways around them (usually unsuccessfully or temporarily). Although they are typical red-flag/yandere behaviors, the way the story is written and the way Do-hwa's character is, it's not nearly as dark as you might expect—honestly, I keep bringing up Do-hwa's decreasing gray matter, but it's like he's just too dumb to realize how bad things are so although these things trouble Do-hwa, they aren't destroying or consuming him.

I'm not sure if it's meant as comedy but it's more bemusingly amusing than anything dark. Min-jun's increasingly extreme behaviors are more like bothersome annoyances, which Do-hwa realizes are weird and often dangerous and he's still often scared of Min-Jun, but he's not living in constant terror or being slowly broken by Min-jun. Do-hwa's still trying to figure a way to escape, but uh... good luck with that, bro.

Some examples of Min-jun's escalating behavior:

Spoiler

Of course he's increasingly possessive and stalker-y of Do-hwa, eventually getting to the point of literally chaining and handcuffing Do-hwa to the bed any time Min-jun has to leave the apartment and otherwise always accompanying him anytime Do-hwa needs to go out. This isn't a punishment or BD*M thing though, as he makes sure to leave snacks and a mini-fridge and entertainment within reach to make sure Do-hwa is comfortable with limited movement.

And Do-hwa thinks this is weird and extreme and kind of upsetting, not to mention inconvenient, but he knows he has to tread carefully around Min-jun's possessiveness. However, the emphasis from Do-hwa's thoughts is more on the inconvenience and weirdness of it all, rather than OMFG THIS GUY IS INSANE. (Those kind of thoughts are typically reserved for when Min-jun commits actual violence against others. But being chained up to the bed daily? Nah, that's just worrisome and annoying.)

Min-jun also eventually insists that Do-hwa only pee in front of him and never lets him go to the bathroom alone unless it's to do #2, so chaining him to the bed is an extra perk for him as Do-hwa is now technically unable to reach the bathroom on his own. Note though that if this kink is not to your taste, aside from maybe the R18 scene where Min-jun briefly brings it up because they're getting it on in the bathroom, there's no real further detail or scenes involving it besides simply mentioning it as a point of frustration, inconvenience, and embarrassment for Do-hwa (at least up to chapter 97 or so).

They also engage in frequent R18 marathons lasting for days due to typical omegaverse stuff and Min-jun's increasing pressure/desire for Do-hwa, which Do-hwa isn't intellectually into but physically of course it's a different story and emotionally he's, uh, still confused. Min-jun seems to be aiming to get Do-hwa pregnant sooner rather than later, but also seems to be arranging things in certain ways for still-unknown reasons.

[collapse]

At any rate, I've been entertained enough to keep up with the regular chapter updates. The translation also continues to be quite good. So if you're in the mood for a thriller omegaverse with a hapless omega protagonist caught in the clutches of an increasingly yandere mysterious killer in a story that actually isn't really written as dark, tragic, or psychological, I recommend it.

UPDATE to the end: Okay, the Big Reveal about Min-jun's real profession and some of his background is... lackluster, despite attempting a number of surprising twists. It's written in a way where you can tell the author had no real idea of how things work or put much thought into finer details (or just totally ignored reality in favor of using overused clichés as plot devices). A non-spoiler example is how the author writes about the (US-based) CIA and DEA and I'm from the US so girrrrrl I know when you talkin' glib about stuff you know nothing about. And look, I'm no legal expert or have great technical knowledge about those government agencies, but even I can tell it all sounds way off.

More specifically:

Spoiler

Min-jun is *gaspshock* an undercover agent for the CIA chasing down a drug-dealing mafia family that fled from the US to South Korea, and is working with the South Korean authorities as well as the DEA to apprehend them. This totally explains why Min-jun is posing as a super-wealthy college student flashing designer clothes and driving luxury sportscars while carrying a concealed firearm in South Korea, and chasing down supposed criminals and beating them to death with metal pipes.

That, by the way, is the explanation for (most of) the apparent mu*ders he's committed: they were all supposedly attempts to apprehend criminals and/or self-defense against said criminals, and/or I guess it's sort of implied that he just has legal authority to execute them for being so criminally criminal? It's... yeah it's all pretty questionable.

For even more shocking! Twists! Those random people he killed and/or brutally assaulted all just happened to be connected to that evil mafia family! And that occasionally one-liner referenced background serial killer in the story that's been described as killing omegas was that a**hole guy who bullied Do-hwa back in the day! And and and that guy is also connected to the mafia family!!!

Right. Sure.

Look, I wasn't expecting this cliché-heavy trope-y story to blow me away with plot twists, realism, or credibility, but honestly this is kind of a letdown even for a cliché-heavy trope-y story. Sad to say, I think I would have preferred it if the reveal had been the extremely predictable "Min-jun is actually an assassin". I would have turned less side-eye if it had even been something as dumb as "Min-jun is actually a quasi-legal assassin shadily employed off-record by the CIA, DEA, and South Korea, and/or he's an assassin from a secret government agency". The Big Twist of him being a legitimate government agent pursuing justice albeit as a sort of wildcard just doesn't hold enough water.

Oh and Min-jun's dad is also the CEO of a giant famous tech company so yes, as Do-hwa directly asks him and Min-jun confirms, he is indeed a chaebol too. Also, his dad is a former CIA member himself.

Additionally, that doctor told Do-hwa that Min-jun was diagnosed in childhood as a clinical psychopath, and it's eventually revealed that he went through years of treatment. I find it hard to believe that a special government agency would employ a clinical psychopath chaebol in a sensitive position.

[collapse]

There's further details about Min-jun's condition that, uh, are actually really disturbing and creepy (if also actually based on realism with a modicum of research behind it, for which I applaud) :

Spoiler

Later in the story, it mentions that Min-jun has a childhood history of abusing and mutilating animals—specifically, he loved rabbits, so he kept many rabbits as pets but they seemed like they were always in poor shape (implied to possibly be because he loved them so much, he never wanted to be parted with them and/or didn't treat them properly as pet rabbits?) and frequently died, and at one point he mutilated a rabbit and threw it under the house. It was at this point that his parents took him to a "mental hospital" for help, though I'm a little unclear on the timeline—the story reveals Min-jun's troubled history in pieces with building details, so I'm not sure if he'd already been diagnosed as a child psychopath prior to this or if this was the revealing incident.

So... like, I know that serial killers often have a history of abusing animals and clinical psychopaths can overlap with being serial killers. And Min-jun has killed at least a few people, although he does not as such appear to have a signature method—well, except for maybe beating them to death with a pipe now that I think about it... but he also shoots people. All, of course, in the name of JUSTICE (usually but not exclusively, he's no Dexter), but yeah it's a pretty creepy and disturbingly realistic set of details for the tropey-dumb popcorn-flick style of story, that poor Do-hwa has a clinical psychopath-rabbit-mutilator-and-probable-serial-killer in love with him, especially when Min-jun has repeatedly in the past compared Do-hwa to a rabbit and said how much he loves rabbits.

On the other hand (and also separately from the above), I appreciate that the author actually did some research on medical terms and clinical psychosis. I'm by no means an expert, just someone who's watched occasional crime documentaries and listened to crime podcasts and read Wikipedia—broadly speaking, the presentation of Min-Jun's diagnosis in the story aligns with what I know, which means it sounds like the author read the Wikipedia page on psychopaths lol. But hey, credit where credit is due: I can't count the number of times I've yelled complaints in reviews about how authors couldn't bother to even use Google for basic-a** research of anything and everything, so the bar is low and this novel rises above it!

Not that it's, uh, necessarily a realistically written, well-researched, medically and psychologically deep portrayal of a psychopath—I mean, it's still a tr*shy, trope-laden BL omegaverse web novel. But the author put in some effort in terms of research and attempting to portray flashback chapters from Min-Jun's POV in a manner that shows how he doesn't emotionally connect with others or understand certain things, and teaches himself how to mask so he can pass for normal. The fact that others see him as charismatic while he lacks empathy are other typical psychopath qualities as well. So for what kind of novel this is, I'd say it's pretty well done, with some research behind it and attempts at accuracy ranging from questionable to shallow to pretty decent.

[collapse]

I'm also not really sure how I feel about Do-hwa's conflicting emotions. Sometimes they make sense, in that he's attracted to Min-jun because he can be very sweet and caring and he's super hot and they're bonded and such, but keeps getting tripped up when he realizes how Min-jun has been manipulating, controlling, and hiding things from him. Sometimes though Do-hwa seems weirdly into the idea of Min-jun being in love with him and taking literally stalking/having stalked him as a sign of that love, which seems off to me, like I would've thought with Do-hwa's character he would have been put off by finding out how much and how long Min-jun stalked him.

The chapters leading up to the end are partly flashbacks of events from the beginning of the story and onward but from Min-jun's POV, intercut with the current story and things from Do-hwa's POV. Things wrap up sweetly if unfortunately hastily, and I will note that despite there being mpreg, there is no childcare as the story ends while still pregnant. Sigh. Not even an extra or two showing what happens later? SIGH.

I wasn't expecting the story to end where it did—I thought there'd be more a bit more main story leading up to birth and/or extras covering it and the aftermath. It felt like it rushed the ending and got chopped off at the same time, sort of like, oh, you know when a TV show gets informed that it's not being renewed, this will be the final season, and so everything rushes to wrap up in the last few episodes and leaves you somewhat unsatisfied because you feel like there's unfinished business? And, like, you can see where the story was going to go, and how it was going to pan out, but there just wasn't enough time to cover it all? That's how I felt here.

Here are some wrapped-up or ill-concluded things that left me feeling like I needed more:

Spoiler

Well, for one thing, the mpreg. Do-hwa is pregnant with freakin' twins and thought he'd kept his pregnancy secret from Min-jun the whole time, but Min-jun reveals that he'd known for a while. Even before this point, the story didn't really touch on Do-hwa's feelings on being a mother, nor much on Min-jun's being a father (or what Do-hwa thinks of Min-jun being a father omfg for that matter), and then the story just ends with a plot-hasty confession of their feelings for each other, agreeing to take a break from school since Min-jun had just publicly announced their dating (to much campus outcry), and leaves off with them on their way to the hospital for a pregnancy checkup.

And that's it. I think most readers would agree that it feels like it's ending with unfinished business on multiple levels. But there's more unfinished/unaddressed business, alas.

Speaking confessions and feelings, I was still not convinced by the end that Do-hwa had reconciled his mixed feelings for Min-jun. His resolve at the end seemed similar to all the previous times in the story when he'd resolved that he did love or was at least liked Min-jun and wanted to be with him, only to later backpedal because Min-jun is, well, crazy and dangerous and a yandere. I think the story was aiming for his resolve to be firm this time since by this point Min-jun had confessed everything to him and made a point to acquire a photo of Do-hwa's father to replace the keychain he'd thrown out the car window and been unable to find later, so I could see the story angling to show that Min-jun was trying to adapt and make allowances for Do-hwa's feelings even if Min-jun couldn't fully understand them, and for Do-hwa to see that and decide to be with him, but, uh, I think there needed to be at least a few more chapters covering a longer time span to fully flesh that out. As it is, I had to do 80% of the work to fill in the gaps with my own theories.

Min-jun apparently just... quit being a CIA agent cold-turkey. Uh. I'm not sure that's how discharge from the CIA's secret dominant alpha squadron works but then again this is a fictional setting by a South Korean author about an American government agency that has, as previously just stated, a secret dominant alpha squadron that has no qualms about recruiting a clinical psychopath to hunt down international criminals in a foreign country.

All the huge plot reveals and stuff about Min-jun's father wanting to kill Do-hwa before the imprint-bond between him and Min-jun is completed felt like it also kind of cut off. Once the bond is completed via pregnancy, it supposedly means that Min-jun will never be able to bond to another omega, and it's generally implied that there's no reason to kill Do-hwa at that point because it's too late. And so... well... Min-jun got Do-hwa pregnant and... that's that. There's no follow up about Min-jun's dad being pissed as he had plans for his son to marry a different omega and in general seemed like a very powerful and very controlling man who would not be pleased to discover his son had tricked him by going to South Korea on the pretense of assassinating Do-hwa only to end up permanently bonding with him instead. But there is no further mention of Min-jun's father.

This one is a minor gripe but like what are the CP going to do about money in the future? Min-jun is apparently of chaebol background but I doubt his dad is going to let him inherit any of that, and although it's possible I don't remember Min-jun being a master of stocks and investments (as many BL male leads often are in order to be wealthy without apparent effort or going to work), am I supposed to take it for granted that a few years of being a CIA agent is enough to set Min-jun and a partner up for life on a millionaire's lifestyle?

Another minor gripe is that most of the recurring side characters get hasty wrapped-up conclusions at best or nothing at worst. Do-hwa does sort of talk to his friend who Min-jun threatened into helping him keep an eye on Do-hwa and forced to commit arson on his behalf, but there's no real follow up on how these two very close friends' relationship weathered (or failed to weather) all that. Do-hwa's crappy family gets a token mention and dismissal by first Min-jun and then Do-hwa but for Do-hwa I really needed a little more emotion and/or determined resolve that, again, would have been better fleshed out in a fuller scene than rushed in the last chapter or so. Min-jun's doctor uncle Jin-yuri is last mentioned as Min-jun having tortured him by breaking his fingers until the doc broke patient privacy to inform him that Do-hwa was pregnant, and that's the last we hear of him. Noah, Min-jun's supposed fiancé whose mansion Min-jun burned down, is also not mentioned again beyond Do-hwa asking Min-jun to apologize to him for said arson and Min-jun obediently agreeing.

I hate to sound like I want everything neatly tied up in a bow with follow up for every single side character and addressing every single emotional aspect and etc, but again, all this is stuff that could've been easily and much more satisfyingly wrapped up with, oh, 5 more chapters and a time skip or two.

[collapse]

I wonder if something happened where the author had to cut the story short for some reason. It just doesn't feel quite finished—when I reached THE END, I literally was like wtf because the way things were written I totally thought there'd be a few more chapters. If I hadn't known that the last chapter was coming, I would've thought there'd be a whole other arc covering the rest of the pregnancy and the falling action around Min-jun's status and all the stuff that happened, and at least the beginning of the CP's lives together now that they know the truth about each other, and of course ending with cute baby stuff.

Once again, I come back to that comparison to a good show that gets cut short and has to hastily conclude, wrapping up as much as possible as quickly as possible because they didn't get renewed for another season. It's still a good show, and at least there is a conclusion, but it's too bad that it didn't get a proper ending that matched how good the rest of it was.

Overall though this was a fairly well-done pulpy/tr*shy novel full of tropes, the BL omegaverse thriller equivalent of a good popcorn flick—something you read or watch with your brain turned off for cheesy fun entertainment. If you go into it with that mindset, you'll have a good time. (Also, for posterity's sake, a huge thank you the translator who regularly updated a couple times a week or so for the entirety of the novel, and dropped the ending chapters in a nice big batch!) <<less

If you're keen to read about uke/bottom with no character development, crybaby, literally useless with no idea about what to do and couldn't stand up form himself. You can continue read it.

Seme is as title, a psychopath, but in this case, because it's ABO setting, seme is in love with uke. Quite manipulative, cunning and also cruel to his enemy. Seme is gwanggong type.

Rant with major spoiler

Spoiler

uke isn't attractive character for me. I was okay reading this with hope there's some character development, there won't be any.

1. Uke can't stand up for himself when seme literally said they are couple. And when everyone at school & his older brother jealous over uke because uke has handsome boyfriend, he just s*upidly stand there accepting everything. It even happen to the end. When classmate blatantly asked uke to break up with seme even tho they both already mated, uke just kept silent until seme came and told everyone they both mated and uke is pregnant. Like, wtf, use your own mouth to say something.

2. He clumsily tried to lie to seme. I understand why he said he forgot his memories, but come on. Be consistent. Put better effort. He tried to honey trapped seme but in the end he was swept up and instead he was begging for s*x. For real??

3. Yes he is been manipulated by seme it's true. But seme technically never lied to him no? Uke got scared seme is an assassin so he came up with idea that seme is a gangster. He never even consider asking seme real truth. When seme asked him do you really think I m a gangster? Uke just asked back, you're not?

4. Author put useless story here and there. Like when seme manipulated uke that apartment is the safest place so uke wouldn't run away. But at the same time, uke family + older brother texted uke to run away from seme. The misunderstanding won't happen if he just ask what is seme job

5. Uke is already half imprinted since he was a kid when he saved seme. Seme tried to hid the fact that seme family tried to kill uke every single day just so seme could cut their engraving. While seme trying to get uke pregnant. If omega is pregnant his imprint will be completed, which mean even if uke died, seme can't marry or have another kid with other omega. Uke get pregnant is the only way to save his life. But seme withhold such crucial information about uke life only to put mud in the water making misunderstanding and confusion.

6. Seme never bother tell uke his real job, so uke is gullible enough to be fooled by seme enemy.

7. Uke has to be saved. Many. Many times. By seme. When he was kidnapped, when he was sold, when being bullied. Typical burden.

This is all useless plot. Even if author make seme told uke about his job, uke is in danger to be killed by seme family, seme previous mission, seme fake fiance, etc. There are still a lot of plot. Plot with gangster enemy, plot with seme family, plot with people who are jealous and bully, plot with loan shark. There are plots even if author didn't add dumb misunderstandings here and there. It actually infuriating me when I finished the novel and realize, seme is in love alone. Uke didn't actually 'love' him. Uke is kinda, swept by seme and yeah I m pregnant, so I have to be with him yadayada.

I love both characters so much. The MC is exactly as expected fluffy and cute, I would call him spineless even when he does try to stand up for himself he just messes things up, so if you are expecting a huge character development from MC you may be disappointed but if a weak but adorable MC is your cup of tea you'll definitely enjoy this. Also the ML is simply bat sh*t crazy but really literally adores the MC but sometimes goes overboard. In all I love the story... more>> line so far, the translation is quite good. <<less
