At that point in time, the main story arc in the book had already been completed. As a villainess female supporting character, not only did she need to take over the original owner’s pitiful life in poverty, she also gained an instant son right at his rebellious period.
Ten or so more years from then, the son would turn into a twisted, evil villain. He would appear in one of the extra chapters to pick on the male and female lead’s children.

Su Ran: Son, you shouldn’t be too outstanding.
Su Han: Why not?
Su Ran: ’cause you will be killed.
Su Ran: Son, would you like to learn music from me and become a zen, little fairy boy who only needs to drink dew.
Su Han: No, I want to go into business so I can support you.

But I feel kinda bit unrealistic how, for 12 years, she treat her son so so bad, but easily open his heart again for her because of simple gesture like sharing her food.
Since she's a prostitute before and the bad past with protagonists. Not that I have problem that MC being a prostitute, just I think its rare for people to accept their partner like that, and I think its nice.
This writing style in these novels bothers me so much. There is way too much explanation between dialogues. One character says something and you have to read 5 long paragraphs to reach the other character's line. Also, I can't understand why we have to know the detailed thoughts of the background characters. For example, neighbors gossiping about MC and her messy apartment, they're complaining alright but I don't wanna read a half chapter of hostile dialogues about it. It's just annoying.
As for the story, I'm pretty sure that MC doesn't let her son know she's reincarnated to her current body. That... disturbs me. He is a smart 14-year-old child and not a 4-year-old who can forget his mother's previous neglect or abuse. Even one day she'll suddenly become a responsible affectionate mother, don't believe he'll love her completely. That's the realistic way, this novel's common sense is way broken for me to continue.
